I needed a replacement 29 rear wheel for my Boardman 8.9 and apart from knowing it had a thru axle, I was completely clueless. I tried a few big retailers and they either didn't have anything or wanted £250.
I came across Madspeed whilst googling. Never heard of them so read a few reviews and decided to contact them using their contact form.
Within a few minutes, I had an email asking if the link they had enclosed was my exact model. I confirmed it was and with a couple more emails, explaining they were talking to a simpleton, I had the wheel I needed ordered.
This was late on Monday and by Wednesday afternoon, I was back on my bike riding to work.
The service was seamless, the advice spot on (including a little note about the disc rotor fitting in the box) and the price more than half what others wanted.
