Very bad service I received a message about upgrading my E-sim I clicked on it and they said that it has been processed but after few days my phone went on SOS I also called them and they left me on hold for over 45 mins and haven’t responded to me yet I have been using Lyca mobile for a long time and the service hasn’t been improved I don’t recommend to buy this

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT get lycamobile US. ITS SLOW, WORST CUSTOMER SERVCE SYSTEM, WEBSITE IS ALSO THE WORST THING TO NAVIGATE. THEIR BACKEND SYSTEM DOES NOT CORROLATE WITH THE INTERFACE OF THE WEBSITE, MAKING IT EXTREMELY UNUSABLE.
If you do get the service and you want to switch it to a different service because you realized lyca is ass, you will be stuck in customer service the whole day, or maybe even whole week.
This is truly the worst, (the us version). Save your time and patience and don't get this.

EDIT: I did email after getting dropped from holding for over an hour, and someone did something because my service is working again. Still waiting for the physical sim to come in the mail, and we will see how that works out.
It was great until they started pushing the new sim. I ordered them for myself and my other half, but now I can’t even sign in to my account and pay his bill because the app is stuck on the sim update and won’t function properly. The agents in my area can’t help OR take a payment.
It’s a shame, they’re going to lose a lot of business!

I've been with Lyca since 2018. Apart from the occasional service issue when travelling, there haven't been many issues. However, when they upgraded to their new network, everything went south. They deactivated my previous number, sent me a new SIM with a new number (which I did not want) & I can't reach out to them via email, chat, or phone! I am DONE with lyca. As soon as I can reactivate my old number, I'm moving to a different network! I have credit and balance on my previous number and I still had to load money on the new number they sent JUST TO TALK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Lyca is honestly the worst network service I have ever experienced. For the last 15 days we have been suffering from serious network problems. Calls drop, the signal disappears randomly, and sometimes the phone suddenly shows SOS only.
We even updated the SIM card, but the problem is still the same. So clearly the issue is with Lyca’s network, not the phone.
Two days ago we contacted Lyca customer care about this problem. They transferred our call to another department and kept us on hold for almost 3 hours, but no one responded. Since yesterday I have been trying to call customer care again and again, but nobody answers the call. This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers.
Yesterday the situation became very serious. My husband was stuck on the highway, and suddenly his phone showed SOS mode because the Lyca network disappeared. He was unable to contact me or anyone else. I also tried calling him many times but his phone was unreachable. This is very dangerous, especially in emergency situations.
We are paying for a service that does not work properly, and customer support is completely unhelpful.
I strongly do NOT recommend Lyca to anyone. If you want a reliable and safe network, stay away from Lyca.
Very disappointed with this terrible service.

This is the top one worst company ever! A complete shame. Unexistient support, nothing works! I paid for a year and after 5 months no phone, no internet and support dont reply emails, phone support i have been calling for days, hours on the phone and pass the call and nobody come, for hours!!! Amazed how they still run the bussiness!!! Avoid at all costs!

Terrible Network, annoying customer service..! Worst network i have ever been on. I recommend anyone to go with other network than go with lyca mobile if you value your money.
A day later this company asked me to write a mail to them explaining the situation and when i wrote no response even to mails..! I am still without my service from 8 days..! This piece of trash for sevice and this company have no basic customer service keeps you on hold for hours and disconnect the calls later on without any help for the customer no response to fix problems, no offline stores and when called they as you to got a physical store(offline) even when they know they don’t have any..! I recommend customers to stay far away from this service if you want your life to go on smoothly. Avoid this service at all costs..! Waste of money, will lose your number if you go for this service.!

Stay away from Lyca mobile USA- horrible customer service. Specially their messaging system, you will be completely blocked from your bank OTP or 2 step authentication messages. After several follow up with Lyca, (literally 2 hours daily to contact with customer service +1-866-277-3221) its not resolved yet after 3 weeks. When you ask Lyca to give you account number and transfer pin, they can not provide you account number , it takes 24 hours? Come on, we are in world where this information shall be instant. But nothing is easy with Lyca. STAY AWAY from this company.
