Pathetic thieves

Pathetic thieves. I was at the JPS Ft Worth location with my son in the ER. I needed a phone charger. I paid $20 for cord and $20 for wall adapter. They wouldn't work. I went back in less than 5 minutes after purchasing. The salesman tried another wall adapter, it wouldn't work. I asked for a refund. Salesman called manager and she said there were no refunds on electrical items. So I told him to just find me one that works. He said he wasn't going to open every package in the store to try and find a good one.

Fraudulent Flowers

I purchased flowers for my wife at the gift shop in HCA Tomball.The clerk ran my card and said it didn’t go through so she ran it again.I didn’t think nothing of it until I looked at my bank statement and seen where she charged me twice for the same flowers one minute apart.I called the store and explained my situation and was told she would look into it.I waited a few days and called again.She said there was no record of the double billing.I finally sent her a copy of my statement.She said she would talk to her boss.Again I waited a few days with no reply.I finally went to the store in person to talk to the clerk that ran my card twice.She again stated that there was no record of twice billing even though I produced the bank statement to state otherwise.I seen that I was not getting anywhere with this clerk.I contacted corporate to no avail.I left my number with a brief synopsis of my situation and ask for someone to call me.I have never reviewed a call from anyone.This isn’t about the money but the principal is here.I finally got the credit card fraud department involved.The person I talked to said that a blind man could see the double billing.I am waiting for a final reply on my issue.Whether this was an accident or deliberate I should not have to waste my time fighting this when it is there in black and white.I will NEVER purchase anything from any Lori gift shops and caution anyone to do your homework before dealing with this company.

Lied on in a Retail Shop

I had a visit to the emergency room at Ben Taub Hospital and it took hours. After I was released I went to the cafeteria for sandwich. I decided to go to Lori's Gift. I could not decide what drink I wanted. I had picked up a 12 oz. can of Bubbly water and decided I did not want to pay the exorbitant price and put it back. There was a public safety person in the store as well. I would have to be the bigger nut on the tree to steal with public safety person in the shop. I left, no said anything to me. I walked to the lobby and here he comes accusing me of shoplifting. I reported the incident to Lori's Gifts. The security department had been given a complaint and the supervisor acted like he had no idea of who the person was. The patient relations office said they were called by the manger to report a theft. I was humiliated in the lobby by this loud talking person. He was given access to belongs and found nothing and never apologized. In the past I have purchased and browsed this shop. Believe me never again and I will make sure to tell family and friends to not deal with them.

You will be discriminated against, race and sexual preference should be something you can live with comfortably, but my experience has proven otherwise. I have been promised raises, and dragged along the mud, I was hired for part time and worked for MONTHS full time, I have been told bye my district manager that I recieve a lot of compliments, to many, so I must be soliciting myself, i was told, not that i was doing great running a store alone with zero training, after everyone literally quit that i must think im the best thing since sliced bread, i will not be provided overtime but will be expected to work late for free while clocked out. I have been bullied, called names, given unreasonable expectations, harrassed on my days off, called over and over until I answer, worked about ever day for 3 months straight until I got very sick, depressed, stressed, suicidal and it just hurt me that i worked so hard to make the store amazing, on my own alone, with no training, my sales went up, and the better the store did, the worse my Dm treated me. I came in early, stayed late, was constantly criticized and if I had any questions my Dm would tell me to stop calling her. She hired two people who she never met, and went on vacation soo
as she did so... she made one a manager and the other assistant manager, and had me train one and the other just never came to work after the first week. If you do everything right with no complaints, for a year, with a great review and a raise, if you work your hardest, and have an amazing relationship with all the customers, and if your sales go up even after everyone in your store and other locations quit, even if you get bullied, belittled, and put down and continue striving, you will have nothing to show for it at all.. sadly this is the worst place I've ever worked for, there is no support, I have been in an accident with my DM while on the clock, and totaled another car, and didn't press charges or sue the company, i had my lower arm sliced open bye glass dueing work and i asked for the inaident report Nd there wasnt one for either insident... the next day they sent me the one for the car accident..if you're not a favorite your job could be on the line without warning, the first second you stick up for your wrong treatment, is the day you better fight for yourself because no one at Lori's Giftshop will.

Beware DO NOT USE Loris Gifts

Beware DO NOT USE Loris Gifts. A 4th floral order from this gift shop was attempted. After 3 previous failed attempts. The 3rd party vender they use for flowers, apparently bought a small bouquet at the local market, wrapped the flowers in a plastic grocery bag and left the flowers for my daughter at the downstairs front desk, The florest did not put the flower in a vase, no water and did not deliver them to the hospital room. When Lorisgifts was contacted they said they had no control over the 3rd party venders. They took no responsibility, no offer to refund, no compensation of any kind. This is on top of having a critically ill family member. Shame on Lorisgifts.
