Customer service is a complete joke

Customer service is a complete joke. I contacted them about the product missing pieces. All they kept doing was asking a single question per email that I would answer dragging out the process till I gave up. This company should be ashamed of itself for the way they treat customers. They won’t even respond back to my emails asking what other information they could possibly need. I have sent multiple follow up emails. I didn’t pack the box mistakes happen own it and make it right. So now I have an overpriced paper weight. Complete fraud scam completely avoid this company and all their products.

Stupid piece of junk

This thing is an overpriced piece of crap. The slightest movement or gust of wind causes the strings to snag and tangle, and each time it snags, it frays the string making it snag easier each time. I bought two with 3 different strings for each for a new years party I was attending and I was really frustrated and upset how easily it tangles and screws up. Garbage waste of money

This company is a SCAM

This company is a SCAM! I purchased this in November 2024 as a Christmas gift and was unimpressed by the quality of it, so I wanted to return it. They drag their feet with returns, asking for 4k HD photos, videos, DNA sample, just to send me a return label back. The item was returned and after 2 weeks waiting for the refund and emailing them with no answer, I disputed this as FRAU on my credit card - to which only then they decided to answer. It's now April and I'm still fighting to get the money spent on this garbage.

You know with all of these bad reviews…

You know with all of these bad reviews the company should be sued by several agencies. When the agencies win the lawsuit it might set a precedent so other domestic or international companies would quit offering products that are junk and the maker of these products get labeled as selling junk products. Put their names in all of the newspaper of every state.👍

Cancelled my order

Ordered 2 lasso weeks ago to have in time for Christmas for my two kids. Just got an email to say order is cancelled because they don't have enough in stock. So unprofessional. Why bombard people with ads without the ability to provide a service.

Garbage garbage garbage. Everything from the customer service to the product. Cannot believe this company is still in business. They’re an absolute scam of a company with no integrity. Do not purchase from them.

Loop Lasso's Customer service has always been helpful. First, I had issue with the delivery when I placed my order and they fixed it. Second, I was having issues with the strings, and they still fixed it. I do not understand the reviews here - cmon guys, each business does not have any control of carriers delays and you should all know that!

Shady customer service

Their delivery was late, promised full refund but they didn't keep their word. I was okay with returning 2/3 that I ordered and just paying for one. I mailed my return items and forgot to follow up on the refund until I saw an ad for them. 3 months later and still no refund. Then they refunded me a very low, random amount that in no way adds up in my order. Mediocre product, terrible customer service.

Really dissatisfied with this company…

Really dissatisfied with this company and how they manage their policies and promotions. Promised delivery times were not honored. Their words were you would receive your products by a certain time or free, then explained it wasn't their fault along with a new delivery timeline of shipping later in December. Again they did not provide a service that was promised as I just got my products last week (first week of April). Bought 5 of these for the family. Save your money! After we got them (very late as I explained they refuse to allow me to return for refund). We haven't opened them yet and feel this was a massive bait and switch with false promises and no caring for the customers. Have emails and receipts of these promises and my experience👎.

Just like everyone else

Just like everyone else, I ordered a month before Christmas, with a guarantee of 100% delivery by Christmas or your money back. Received on December 29. Reminded me of Tommy Boy. Callahan brake pads 100% money back guarantee. It only works if the people behind it have integrity.

Loop Lasso guarantee is a scam. Shady business!

Loop Lasso got me on the whole guaranteed by Christmas thing. I was looking for something cool (and I will admit, these are pretty cool) but then as my order didn't arrive before Christmas I was disappointed. Kids were too because I had said there's something really neat for you and I think you'll be amazed! I was actually really looking forward as well. They did arrive late so I had to change plans to a New Years Gift. It was alright and they did have a little fun but not like it would have been on Christmas day. There's too much going on and New Years is not so much a day dedicated to the kids like Christmas.

Plus the strings got tangled real quick and they don't last long. They aren't worth the almost $40 a piece they charge until they get these things to last longer, at least the strings.

However, upon reaching out for the guarantee Ben (the owner of Loop Lasso) states that it wasn't their fault and the terms and conditions state as much and are not responsible for the late shipment. Hold it there cowboy! Loop Lasso changed the terms on 12/25/2023 way after our purchase agreement on 12/5/2023. Still fighting CC chargeback on 3/8/2023. Why a chargeback? Well Loop Lasso states in an email to me that in order to get the guaranteed refund I need to send the items back unopened otherwise a refund will not be issued. I already opened them upon delivery. That was not the guarantee!

Scam of a company that won't honor a clear and precise guarantee when Ben reiterated this guarantee in an e-mail on 12/13/2023 "First off, we're still on track for delivery by December 24th – that's a guarantee. If we don't meet this deadline, remember, your order is absolutely free." And no Ben, this doesn't mean my order is free if I send the order back unopened. Which is the only option afforded to me after January 2024. It means if I don't receive the order by Dec. 25 2023, the order of 4 Loop Lassos' would be free and my money refunded as promised.

Then the final response email from Ben included:

"Really sorry things didn’t arrive in time. It sucks how many kids missed out on unwrapping a Loop Lasso from under the tree.

We made an "It arrives on time or it's free" promise because we trusted our partners to uphold their promised delivery times. Lesson learned there."

I know Ben this puts it all on you and your company to meet your promised deadlines, but I always learned don't make promises you can't keep. If you do, however, your integrity shines brightly when you own the mistake. So, your "lesson learned" was not.

Then Ben proceeded to say if we honor the guarantee it would put us out of business. Well Ben (Loop Lasso), cool product, crap service and fraudulent marketing. This is what will put you out of business! Taking responsibility for your promises would go a long way with perhaps a bit of a gesture to keep customers. A gesture like some kind of offer and then follow through with it. But don't scam the customer by changing terms after the fact and say "It sucks how many kids missed out on unwrapping a Loop Lasso from under the tree." but I have your money so it's all good.

I ordered before Christmas with a “100%…

I ordered before Christmas with a “100% promise that it would be delivered by December 31 or they would be free.” They were not delivered. When I emailed about not receiving them, they said that they couldn’t give them for free because they would be bankrupt. After some going back and forth, they offered to reimburse me 25%, to get my original order and to get 4 of the new models in February and I accepted that offer in writing. They then “accidentally” refunded the rest of my money. Radio silence until the head of customer service, Jayzel, told me that I would get nothing. My issue was resolved by them refunding my money. There is a whole Reddit thread on Loop Lasso too. It is clear that they knew they could not make promised delivery dates.

Company is extremely slow to deliver

Company is extremely slow to deliver. They make promises that if it doesn't deliver by a certain date then it's free. When I tried to claim the free part they told me "free means we'll let you return it".

They purposely deceive you to get your money, don't deliver on promises, then go back on those promises.

Do not do business with these guys.

It's been a bit of a disaster.

Ordered on 8th November and unlike most here the item did arrive before Christmas. However my 7 year old managed to snap all three strings within a minute of them being attached as they get tangled and shred in the mechanism.
I did get email contact and they advised it was due to not knowing how to use it. Bearing in mind this is marketed at kids, they shouldn't really be worn out in 30secs just by switching it on, I also read they have made a change to the design to stop it shredding the strings, so obviously recognised it's been an ongoing issue.
In fairness they offered to post complimentary strings, and they provided tracking, but now Royal Mail have managed to deliver them to the wrong place and I have to start all over again. Hoping they will be fair enough to try again.
Long story short, three months after purchase and £50 down and we haven't got using the thing yet.

Untrustworthy company

Untrustworthy company. We ordered three units 11/24/23. On 12/13/23 we received an email from "Ben" saying that "I’m Ben, the founder of Loop Lasso. Today, I want to share some important updates about your order and our commitment to delivering your holiday joy on time.

First off, we're still on track for delivery by December 24th – that's a guarantee. If we don't meet this deadline, remember, your order is absolutely free."

We received the order around 1/07/24 and now they are refusing to honor their own "guarantee" of keeping the units.
I even offered a compromise of just sending back the whole order for a full refund. They will take back sealed units but are refusing return of the opened one.

I emailed them on 1/02/24, they did not return my email until I emailed them again on 1/22/24 and threatened to dispute the charge with my credit card.

Do business with these folks at your own risk.

Update 2/09/24: After filing a BBB complaint they gave me a complete refund and let me keep the whole order (as guaranteed).

Great fun toy, both my son and I love it.
Just a great little thing.

But the main point of the review is the fantastic after-sales service.
I emailed with a problem and within hours they were back in touch to sort it.
Lovely.

very disappointing

very disappointing. I ordered 2 months ago. Haven't received the product. Keep being told it will ship on the next batch supposedly on December 21st. its been two months, they took my money. I do not recommend purchasing from this company.
