I am Audie Shipman and I set up and paid for the e-tickets for Kendra Austin. Unfortunately for me , I discovered about 20minutes before departur, that Kendra was going to be a no show and even worse for me, a bold faced liar. I’ll not go into the heartbreak phase , I own that myself. But I have a reputation to maintainand a responsibility to call American Airlines. It’s very embarrassing to even make this call and it’s now time for departure. I’m going to tell the truth and must do this without focusing solely on the liar involved. I was too blame for trusting but my focus was about a true apology and American Airlines know I respect there time and efforts in procuring these now unused tickets. American Airlines can be proud as Hell of a Super Employee named Ella. And I’m thankful and have prayed that thanks that she picked up my call. I’m 67, retired , traveled all over the country in my career as a Union Lineman and have traveled with American Airlines many times. I’ve been around and I know business and I know people. Ella was totally professional but possess a heart and attitude that could calm Goliath. She was a professional and yet I could tell her sincerness to me , the customer. She went thru her checklist and I never did feel I was on hold. She thanked me for my honesty! Who does that anymore? I was truly satisfied and it could have stopped right there. Personally, I’ve been experiencing more lows than highs in life , just like everyone on earth does. But the courtesy she used in this situation was definitely turning the tide positive for me. In my admission of guilt , I mentioned that I was calling to do the right thing. It was not about “ let’s make a deal”! I knew I was at a loss but I want no tarnished reputation with American Airlines. Ella put in a request of cancellation and I will be refunded $200. Yes I say she’s a Super Employee and there should be more like her! She didn’t give away any of the companies money! I will , myself travel by air again in my future. But I won’t be checking for cheap flights. I’ll be calling this number for Ella and have her set it up. This is Ella’s natural way and persona. She is dedicated and proficient 101+! But the “people person heart” I feel is born. But I have no doubt she could teach it open young minds. American Airlines has a diamond and it’s not in discize and don’t have a speck of rust on it. Thank you.

This happened to me in october.
we bought 2 tickets separately 1 round trip and a 1 way. Both were bought at exact the same time with differents computers and under 2 differents emails. Despite saying they had multiple flights for the same price as soon as we booked them we got an email and a call telling us that we needed to contact them to confirm our tickets to be able to travel. so we called and asked me to pay $180 dollars more to be able to flight. I asked them why do I need to pay more if I place my purchase I paid what it was asked for at the moment. and I was told there was an issue with the seating and I needed to upgrade from economy to premium economy. I ended up paying because I needed to go and because the person talking to me had a very hard to understand indian accent. How in the world is this a transparent transaction. I ended up paying with him not understanding and or explaining to me how was this my fault. the fight went on for some time until he got me tired. This behavior is unacceptable and they should be investigated (and every other booking company with these issues).
at the enI asked him if at least my luggage was included he said yes! Sent me the info and confirmed my flight. I ended up PAYING for my luggage and I ended up being seated in the same section as the person I was traveling with proving there was no upgrade at all. besides that if I wanted to choose my seat ahead of time I had to pay even more???
Can Someone tell me where to send this info so a report can be made? does Anybody fought a case like this before and what were the results?

Terrible company. After confirming flight they keep calling and asking for more and more money. Bunch of liars and scammers. Save yourself time. I will be reporting them to airlines and BBB.

Our flights were cancelled. We were told we would get a refund for the flights. We never received the refund despite all of my efforts to be in contact with different people. This is 100% a scam.
Olympia= Very Accommodating
Olympia was very accommodating during my call. This is the first time I used Lookbyfare and I didn't realize I should opt in for electronic check in and boarding pass. I called for assistance and Olympia explained the option to me and offered to email the boarding passes to me. I am now ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with family whom I haven't seen in a year.

Refund delay
Prior to this call, I had called about seven times inquiring about my refund. Each time I was told the same thing yet nothing happened. One employee promised to look into my refund and call me back but he didn’t. After 7 months of dealing with this, Denzel was able to promptly resolve the issue within 24 hours.

Columbus was patient with me, he was accommodating, and I got the impression that he did everything he could to help me with my travel plans. I wasn’t an easy customer either! So, again, thank you Columbus! You deserve all the raises!!

I called and spoke to Wade in regards to my concern about receiving 2 different emails and same Trip ID numbers, of which in my mind lead me to believe and think I was being charged 2 times, after his explanation of what it is, immediately i felt a huge relief. Great customer service.

Refund and overall experience due to Adam the representative.
Adam Smith was my representative helping me. He went above and beyond to help change my flight and also get me a refund for a previous flight. This was a difficult refund to get because a hurricane was coming to the destination we were going to, but it was not quite there yet so flights were still in route, not canceled. But we did not want to get stuck staying in that destination, why I needed to cancel the flight. Thank you Adam very much for your help. It made a stressful situation much better!

We paid for a round trip flight but…
We paid for a round trip flight but when we got to the airport the airline told us our flight was never paid for. We called look by fare and they made us pay an additional 1600.00 so we could get home! SCAM!!!!!!
