Not learnt so much, so fast since school!
Really fantastic experience. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. I developed the pitch I needed, but also learnt so much more about delivery in all situations and have put a lot in practice already.
Really enjoyed it too - so much fun (probably why I learnt so much so fast!).

A Truly Transformative and Fun Experience
I have completed 10 sessions with Catherine York from LSW, and each time I walked in, it felt absolutely magical. From the very first moment, Catherine created an atmosphere of warmth, encouragement, and possibility. Her approach is not just about technique but about building confidence and truly understanding my voice. Her ability to teach with such warmth and creativity made the whole experience not just transformative but truly enjoyable. More than anything, I leave these sessions feeling empowered—equipped with the skills and confidence to make the impact I want to make in the world.
The transformation in my vocal abilities has been remarkable—not only I have made a lot of progress but now understand how to continue improving my communications. Catherine has a way of making even the most challenging exercises feel achievable, always pushing me just enough while creating a safe and positive learning environment.

Ali visited us in our London office and held 1-1 sessions working on what we individually needed help with. I can't recommend Ali enough, she is not only knowledge but puts you completely at ease. I came away with new tools and a new outlook on public speaking.

Emmy was my coach and the experience with her highly exceeded my expectations. I did a course of Weak your accent and Effective Communication. She adapted the classes to my needs and I truly appreciated that.
She is also a very good person to talk and share opinions, 1h with het felt too short given the good time I had with her.

Letting my words land with intention!
In taking the Effective Communication course, I have learned to trust my voice, both in a technical sense and a deeper, personal way. I’ve learned to take up space with confidence, to let words land with intention, and own my presence on stage. My teacher, Catherine, helped me realise that they key is believing that what I have to say matters. These lessons have truly shaped how I communicate in every area of my life, helping me feel more in control, more expressive, and more ‘me'.

Great Soft Skills Training!
I came to London in 2013 and soon after enrolled in London Speech Workshop's accent softening course. The training significantly improved my understanding of the English Accent. 6-7 years later, I returned for LSW's one-to-one Effective Communication course. I was initially skeptical about its value but came to appreciate it later as I took on more public speaking opportunities at work. Currently, I'm doing a one-to-one conflict management course, which I am hoping will end up being a great investment in my career.

Working with my coach Emmy ant the LSW team was so much more than I expected. I learned to be a more confident communicator in every area of my life, since the first session. Beyond that, I learned about my drivers and values, which has been life changing at so many levels. The material and methodology is practical, clear and easy to follow. Finally, their offices are lovely and very professional. Booking is easy and everyone is really responsive.

Emmy’s superstar coaching sessions
I had the pleasure of having Emmy as my coach and it was incredible working with her! She picked up on several shortcomings that I work on to improve the credibility of my communication and she has loads of exercises to develop these shortcomings. Emmy provided many frameworks to help with structuring my communication, as well as having plenty of practice to go through them.
But what I enjoyed most about my coaching was that Emmy is A LOT of fun!! The sessions were very energising and I always had a laugh with her. 10/10 I’d recommend anyone to take Emmy’s coaching sessions

invaluable tools for my ongoing English speaking journey
Adam Rhys-Charles strikes a perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. His perceptive guidance identifies specific challenges in my pronunciation, stress, intonation, and speech style while offering solutions in a way that makes me feel both encouraged and inspired.
Most compelling is the core philosophy of LSW approach that speaking with clarity is an act of care for both speaker and audience. Further, the concept of vocal landscape enables speakers naturally land on a proper stress and intonation, creating more engaging speech patterns.
As a result, the progress between 'before' and 'after' has been rather remarkable. Thanks to Adam's coaching, I've gained invaluable tools for my ongoing journey in English speaking.

I didn’t know what to expect...
I didn’t know what to expect, but I ended up learning so much about myself as a person and communicator. Adam, my coach, was an excellent listener who quickly understood what I needed to improve while also highlighting my strengths that could boost my confidence.
The experience taught me a lot, and I recognise that continued practice is important. However, I now feel equipped with the right tools and, most importantly, a deeper sense of self-awareness.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with Ali, who has truly helped me improve both my communication style and mindset. She made a genuine effort to understand me as an individual and tailored our sessions to meet my specific needs. Ali was consistently supportive and subtle, yet thorough in identifying areas for improvement.
What stood out most was her ability to draw on a wealth of tools, methodologies, and approaches to explore what worked best for me. She ensured that I could effectively apply these techniques by practising them together during our sessions. Pivotal for my career!
Pivotal for my career!
I talk to clients on a daily basis so an effective communication training was a must. But what I wanted was a tailored 1:1 learning experience with a direct feedback loop on how I could improve. And boy, did Bella deliver! I truly loved every minute of my sessions and had so much fun learning.
I worked with Bella for about 6 months - in those 6 months I applied internally for a higher position, got the job, got multiple raises and amazing feedback from leads and clients. Quite a big chunk of that success I can attribute directly to what I learnt with LSW. Standing your ground in a demanding sales environment as a women is not something that comes easy but with the right tools taught by Bella, I feel empowered to hold my own.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Emmy, my speech coach. She has done an incredible job boosting my overall confidence and helping me project that confidence in my communication.
Emmy is always a cheerful and positive presence in my day. She strikes a wonderful balance between acknowledging my struggles but also being transparent about areas for improvement, which I find extremely helpful. She takes the time to explain how our brains work when it comes to effective communication, providing insight into the psychology behind why we communicate the way we do. This understanding adds further depth and clarity and further assists me in identifying areas for growth.
