Had a great trip crossing the channel to Alderney with the club, this was my first trip and I felt incredibly welcome and at home. The trip was well planned and very informative leading up to it. The sailing was incredible, with a very knowledgable skipper, and likeminded sailors. Everyone was very easy to get on with. The club is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended

Great mile building and night sailing trip across the channel. We had fantastic experienced skippers, really good provisions and a fantastic time all round. It was a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to learn more about and get practical experience of sailing.

Amazing experience with LSC crossing the Channel this weekend. As a beginner, I felt absolutely safe and in very good hands. The trip was perfectly organized and I have learned a lot about sailing, thanks to our experienced captain. A loads of fun and food! I highly recommend !

Joining a new sailing group could be a challenge but the LSC planning and coordination made everything very easy - Zala skipper Rob is very experienced and (happily) very patient and the positive attitude of the LSC crew developed into a strong bond of friendship over the 4 days. Overnight transit through the shipping lanes is always an experience and the 170 mile voyage involved all aspects of sailing - and motoring!
Next trip is Croation - looking forward to sailing with LSC again!

I signed up for a mile building channel crossing from the river Hamble to the channel isle Alderny back and forth. It was an amazing experience. With a night over on Alderny and Yarmouth. Well seasoned easy going RYA certified skippers with alot of experience on the Solent and abroad. With a lovely team vibe on board between the participants and both sailing yachts. Both sailing boats were well equiped for off shore passages. Highly recommend! And looking forward to the next activity!

I had the opportunity to join them for the Easter weekend in the Solent and had a very nice sailing experience. Super friendly and professional skippers. If you are a beginner or an enthusiast looking to go sailing in The Solent or beyond, join the club!

Fantastic club for sailing enthusiasts of all abilities. I joined as a complete beginner through their free Theory Thursday sessions run through winter which covers basics to help you plan a sailing trip (including sessions on reading charts, tides, navigation, rules of the waterway and weather and passage planning). Their monthly socials are great for meeting other members who are all so friendly and keen to answer any questions. They cover the spectrum of enthusiasts, from newbies like myself to sailing veterans who have sailed all their lives. The best part was being able to join a club weekend trip where I got to learn so much about sailing hands on. The trip was amazingly organised by Rob who skippered his own boat and provided a great weekend sailing on the Solent, with good food and fantastic company from fellow LSC members as fellow crew. All in all, a fantastic club that I would recommend to anyone with an interest in sailing.

Been out for a few sailings on the Solent and also attended some socials. Great group of people and very professional and friendly skippers.

Great weekend had on boat parking skills, Simon was a great teacher and transfered his vast knowledge vey well. Overall great experience.

I've done something approaching a dozen sailing trips with LSC now and have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Always well-organised and with a fun interesting group of people no matter what type of trip. I'd recommend to anyone!

Just back from a week's sailing in Turkey with the LSC. My partner's and my first trip with the club and we had a fabulous time. There were 30 of us on 5 yachts. Everything was supremely well organised by the lead organiser and all the skippers. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Had some great sailing in a range of conditions. Long runs and short hops in and out of secluded coves with great restaurants. Levels of skills and experience ranged from novices, like my partner, to highly competent skippers and crew. There were many opportunities to learn new skils and even take on the role of skipper for the day. Fabulous scenery all the way. Very comfortable, well equiped boats. All-in-all an amazing experience! 👏
