As a llb student I personally think…

As a llb student I personally think that programme (Academic materials) are affluent but as a mature student especially have a day time job seems UNREALISTIC at all.
Enquiry system to student, response is low and seems always have staffs have mistake, that makes student exhausted, and confusing and wasted students precious time especially Law student!! This Uni. seems always want ask your money and want student retake/resit makes students HUGE pressure and unable sleep and livinig at horror. And many things seems lack of transparency. Every year have staffs had mistakes needs correct hy students. :( IT system also always interrupted students, and trouble, I personally like old system more than current new system. I think totally waste time and money for that new system. Avoid this Uni. Programme design seems unrealistic to actual society. Programme regulations always changed, i always thinking: We are student, are u playing me? We already not enough time study for revision for exam. Why non-stop increasing my stress? I m regret study this course. And fee every year increasing. I wasted unlimited time and money also my heavy time cost!!!
As a student want use this degree to seek ideal job for earn money but now I lost my numerous time+money!! Seems I gain nothing ..

WORST Enquiry system

You are given 3 weeks to register for next exam. 2 weeks in my case. If you’re having trouble registering for it, don’t expect this uni to help. 2 weeks of sending out enquiries and no response….

MSc Computer Science, Principle of Programming Lecturer is a scam

My exam was never marked, I was given a random rating instead. I submitted the final project and the code was perfectly working. My study partner and I were working together, with my code working better than her's. To my surprise, she got a pass and I got a fail. I disputed my results with the university and I was told the university doesn't do remarks for distance learners. I suspect that my script was not looked at even once for marking. I was confident with my code, it was giving a perfect output during testing, for the results to come back as a fail purely means the marker didn't bother opening my submission file. If anyone wants to join a university with integrity, stay away from the University of London. This was a total waste of my money and time

The university constantly promotes…

The university constantly promotes itself as supportive and dedicated to helping students build their careers. Unfortunately, my personal experience has been the opposite. I needed a document for an internship and was assured by the university that I would receive it. However, after that confirmation, I never heard back again. It has now been over two months, and despite several follow-up inquiries, I have received no response. As a student, you are simply left hanging, which is both frustrating and disappointing given the promises the university makes.

I am an international student and last few weeks trying to confirm my admission but they do not have any dedicated line for student support, all you have to create ticket in enquiry hub and where it will take a significant number of days .I asked gentleman that website is not letting me pay my fees and confirm enrollment would you help me solve this problem, he replied "all you have to do is that create ticket at enquiry hub and wait for the response. My understanding is that it is a profit university only not for caring students.

A last resort at best

I would advise anyone only to attend this university ONLY as a last resort if all other options are unavailable to you, and even then, give it some thought.

During my 1 year on the course, an administrative error (a typo) knocked around 80 marks off of one of my results. I had to perform the customer service equivalent of dragging myself through broken glass to get this resolved - to the point of making a GDPR data request to get a breakdown of my results which proved the error. Then, after 6 MONTHS, the error was rectified. After a further couple of months, and further enquiries, the fee I'd had to pay up front to check for the error was finally refunded. If I'd not pestered the university through every possible avenue, this outcome would never have been achieved, and even then some of it was down to luck.

Now, I find myself, after having requested to be withdrawn from the course around a year ago, in receipt of an invoice for over £1k for new modules which I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR, against my wishes, out of the blue.

I am now a student at a different university, and have no intention to use any UoL services. I sincerely hope this is resolved ASAP, and I will be updating this review with the outcome for all to see.

UoL, my enquiry reference is EQN0104147. I'd appreciate if you didn't drag me through months of hell and stress this time, thanks.

I am deeply disappointed with the…

I am deeply disappointed with the University of London's admissions communication. I submitted my application for the Online Undergraduate Programme in early June and followed up multiple times over six weeks. Despite receiving an initial confirmation that I would be contacted by an Enrolment Specialist, no one has reached out to me to date.

Repeated emails went unanswered, and the complete absence of transparency or accountability has left a highly negative impression. This experience does not align with the professional standards expected from a world-class institution.

Clear processes and timely communication should be a minimum — especially for applicants who invest time, effort, and trust into the application process.

Avoid

I applied this university before to do a masters in Mres in research. I was given a student loan and accepted onto the course and then they closed it. So I lost my opportunity to do a masters because of my age and that’s all down to the University of London. They didn’t even have the decency to let me know face-to-face. It sent me an automatic email saying we are no longer running this course so I lost my student loan funding. O advise you - do not engage with this university. Their administration is terrible and you will end up losing an academic career - which for me was a very important life decision so four years later, I haven’t managed to find another masters in research that I can afford to do in London! I’m going to have to move to the north of England, whether there is a Choice of three Russell group Universities, where I’ve spoken to the professors and they have been extremely helpful. When you can pay half the fees in the north of England for a better university, why would you bother with one that has a no human face or the decency to communicate with their students?

University Confirm My Attendance to Student Finance UK

I have been unable to study for an entire year now because of the negligent and incompetent people running the administration. I have apply for and been approved for a UK student loan to study, but the university in it's infinite wisdom hasn't confirmed my attendance so now payment has been released, now the university is asking for payment and a letter of entitlement. I sent off the only letter of entitlement I've received so far, but because it's been so long since I secured the loan they will not accept the letter because it displays for the study year 2023/24.

I've attempt to make several enquiries, all getting immediately closed out with a cookie cutter copy and paste wall of text, telling me information I already know. When you call the university they just tell you to make an enquiry, what is the point of employing these receptionists if they have no power to do anything?

Speaking of enquiries, the staff will take an entire week to respond even if I respond to their comments immediately, just pure laziness really. What value do these staff members even provide if they can't be bothered to do their work!

The study material itself is garbage. Hard to understand teachers, technical bugs that they do not fix even when reported, they also did not take into account a bug I reported which ended up with my getting less marks because the work would not submit and just return an error.

There is zero student support for online learners unless you want to join their messy Slack, which doesn't actually contain any staff at all?

Avoid this university unless it is literally your last and only option.

Troubled application process

I am left so frustrated. I have paid my application fee and have been asked to resubmit my documents a few times. I even had a member of staff say they will submit the documents on my behalf because the application portal just kept displaying an error code. I have tried to call and waited over 30 mins and no one answers. This is so discouraging. How does one contact anyone at this university or get any help? I paid £60 for absolutely nothing.

Avoid

I expressed my interest in the BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance (online). Submitted an online form.
Somebody got back to me to provide basic information very quickly and I replied with further questions. Didn't hear back despite chasing.
Such a hassle to get any kind of contact from them.

And now I've seen the reviews on this website and I'm shocked. I will be avoiding University of London.

I have to continually run and chase and beg for help because their online programmes are so mishandled and they have technical issues all the time. I just registered and in this month I've faced 3 separate issues and the term hadn't even started yet. I'll keep you posted but this is my experience so far.

Challenges with University Portal Access and Support: A Cautionary Experience

I applied to this university in December 2024 and was offered a place along with access to their student portal. I received my login details and followed their guidance to access the portal, but my attempts were unsuccessful.

I also tried raising a query through their Enquiry Hub, but this system requires logging in through either a student or personal account, neither of which worked for me. When I attempted to call for support, I could not reach anyone, as no one answered the phone.

At this point, I started to have concerns and checked Trustpilot, where I discovered many people experiencing similar issues.

Based on my experience, I would advise others to approach this university with caution.

ONLINE MBA is not worth!

for online MBA, support from tutor is very limited, worst part is bias in giving grades, most of the time will be one way communication. The learning platform often has performance issue. The syllabus very inconsistent making tutor and students have a big margin for misunderstanding and everything we have expected are not in place. Assignment given not covered in the topics nor in the text book given, students has voiced out but the tutor did not care and expected us to do fuzzy research and learned from out of topics.

Avoid this university

Avoid this university. I wanted to withdraw after a lot of students warned about terrible student support but now they are not replying to my inquiry, not answering telephone, no reply to complaint, not refunding tuition fee during 14 days cooling off period. Terrible place. I don't know how to get my money back.

I also want to add that I have wrote about the neighbour with the black car in Longridge Colchester.Well he has been causing me problems lately. For example, on the 24th of December 2024 knowing I was heading to Oxfam(as well as my toxic family knowing)decided to repeatedly voice ‘f you’ several times to cause me trouble.Next thing I know, I start acting out in out of the Oxfam shop of Colchester, begin to have a temperature of 35.8degrees feeling ill and weak and lose my head. My family have also been(Alison,Oxana,Edward) been talking to him to punish me for making them accountable for how they treated and objectified me during COVID( putting all their stress onto me).My family and neighbourhood in Longridge are covertly abusive and look for every opportunity to snake me regarding my life with not an ounce of remorse whatsoever. There have even been women(like Leyla and Ahlina) who talk to my mum behind my back to cause more abuse and harm as a control mechanism.
