Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Our customer service team is always on hand to help with enquiries, and the occasional problem!
Now with a team of over 400 people, we’re proud to have established ourselves as a go-to destination for cupcakes and celebration cakes.

I feel that I was treated unfairly.
I registered as a member last year. On November 13th this year, I went to the Kingston store to collect my birthday cake, but the staff rudely told me that because my spending over the past year was too low, I could only receive a single cupcake.
First, although my family bought cakes from your store more than once over the past year, I wasn’t the one who made the purchases, so my membership card wasn’t used and therefore no spending record appears.
Second, I showed the staff your official terms and conditions, which do not state that a certain spending amount is required to receive the birthday cake. However, she ignored me completely and insisted, in a very rude manner, that I could only choose one cupcake.
I feel that I was treated unfairly.

Hello Daisy,
Thank you for taking your time to share this review.
We are very sorry to hear that you encountered issues with claiming your free birthday cake offer as part of our Love Club.
This offer is only running up until the end of the year and is exclusive to our founding members (joined in stores before February 2025) so this could have been the cause for how the store determined you were ineligible.
We are very sorry that communication with the store felt unfair on this matter and would love the chance to look further into this and see if you may have incorrectly been excluded so we can do our best to help make this right at this point in time.
If you could please email our team at hello@lolascupcakes.com with this information and confirm your Love Club account name and email we would be happy to investigate this to understand what could have occurred and what we can do to assist you.
Kind regards,

This has been our fourth year ordering from Lola’s for our birthday cakes for both our daughters. This year we decided to decorate it ourselves and Lola’s staff have been incredible helpful at helping us putting the request of keeping the cake plain and free of decoration through to the bakery. As always the cake was exquisitely delicious and they listened our requests.

I ordered a cake for my daughters’s birthday. Everyone enjoyed the cake but I didn’t enjoy the gluten free cupcake I bought for myself. Pretty dry with no flavour. Can make better myself.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review.
I am sorry to hear this, we do advise to leave our items at room temperature for 2 hours before serving to give them a chance to warm up, otherwise they may appear a little dry.
