I would have given no stars if given the choice. Complete waste of time and money as it wasn't cheap. This new type of mixing just doesn't work. I couldn't break off the bottom cap cleanly. The plunge... See more

Just tried the Loctite Extreme Epoxy "Never lets you down". What a waste of time. The 'instant mix' nozzle system is a nightmare to use, does not break cleanly, does not dispense the two adhesives pr... See more

Lactite not Loctite!!
Have tried several different Loctite Products and can't recommend any! I mean absolutely no adhesion at all, or the product dries up and turns rock hard before you use it a second time. How are they considered an adhesive Brand with no adhesive? Name change is in order to Lactite! The last product I tried was the Loctite super glue liquid 0.18 oz. The size is important because when purchasing you think it's little but enough. Well they've managed to cheat you again because if you turn it over you'll find half the bottle is just plastic. The liquid only goes half way to the bottom. REALLY!! You're that cheap that you can't even give us a full bottle on an already over priced item? I'm done, I'll go back to Elmer's school glue if need be. Even it works better than Loctite!
Extreme Epoxy 11ml. Useless...
Instructions say snap off tab from tip of syringe but I had to bend it backwards and forwards and twist it before it finally came off. With nozzle fitted the contents came out everywhere except the end of the nozzle. A complete waste of time and money and didn't mix and so just a sticky horid mess.
Loctite All Plastics glue….a waste of money and time !!
Bought a pack of Loctite All Plastics super glue about 6 months ago to carry out a very small brittle plastic repair. For those who aren’t familiar with this product it comes in 2 tubes : one a “marker-like” activator which has to be applied to both surfaces, left for 60 seconds then the more familiar adhesive tube is opened to apply the liquid to one surface. Both are then held together for half a minute.
Two months ago I tried to use it again for a similar repair. Having prepared the surfaces, I opened the activator, tried to apply it and was not convinced there was any coming out of the tip, although it was difficult to tell. To be certain I’d end up with a good repair, I borrowed a different make of glue from a friend.
Today, I chose to give Loctite All Plastics the benefit of the doubt by carrying out another repair. Not only did there certainly appear to to be no activator left ( - after only 2 repairs - !! ) but the other tube’s nozzle, despite having been cleaned on each of the previous occasions with Acetone and supposedly being fitted with an anti-clogging device, I had to use 2 pairs of pliers to get the cap off. I then discovered that the nozzle was blocked and would not supply any liquid despite being pierced with a plain pin. The purchase for this useless product was sufficiently long ago that I no longer have the receipt so I didn’t even bother contacting the manufacturer.
So, this item has now been relegated to the dustbin. In future I’ll be steering well clear of Loctite and using something by Gorilla.
Loctite is not the company it formerly was.
Can't give a zero star (perhaps…
Can't give a zero star (perhaps Trustpilot should consider extending the system to allow a negative star this? )
I used a very expensive tube of superglue from Loctite (which used to sell a product that worked well)!
After using this once and carefully replacing the cap, the next time I tried to use the glue I found the whole bottle was one solid mass.
Loctite need to seriously examine their formulation as this product did not do this originally!
For their investigation, the batch number B4343 was on the base of the tube.
I notice they say on the packaging, "Aircraft manufaturers rely on Loctite products". Please Loctite, let me know which Aircraft manufactures are using your product?... I would like to avoid flying in their aircraft!
Loctite super glue
Loctite super glue? Yep super! It's glued itself inside the tube? Always new it says on the package! One tube was open fair enough? Other two were still sealed! Rubbish! Only super is about it for them! I need to go and buy more! Won't be loctite!
Loctite Extreme Epoxy dispenser Unreliable
Purchased the Loctite Extreme Epoxy mixing system. Clumsy to use and it was evident that the dispensing and mixing system is not reliable. The epoxy resin was still tacky after 24 hours and items that had been glued together pulled apart under light pressure
Bought the rearview mirror glue
Bought the rearview mirror glue, did everything to the letter even left it overnight to dry, put mirror on, adjusted and it fell right off, "THE STUFF IS RUBBISH"
only disposable epoxy glue to the detriment of the environment
bought Loctite epoxy mini, in Denmark, but applies to all their epoxy glue they can not be closed again so when you buy Loctite glue it is disposable so you obviously have to throw it out you do not use which many times is 90% of the product, usually you can have such a tube for a year where you can use of it again and again but not at Loctite. I recommend buying from another manufacturer, very harmful to the climate
Loctite All Plastics Super Glue.
Loctite All Plastics Super Glue.
Here is another company trading on past reputation.
As part of Henkel, they should stick to wallpaper glue.
One thing this expensive stuff does not do, is stick All Plastics.
Yes, we all know that thermoplastics like polythene are tricky to glue, better to heat weld.
What shouldn't be a problem is sticking a bit of polyester to another bit of polyester. If gluing means holding two bits of plastic together for 5 minutes without even breathing on it, then it works. But anything more than that and this stuff totally fails. Wallpaper glue would be better. Or just plain ordinary cheapo superglue.
Despite raising it with their "Technical Department", nothing heard, so 1-star for a rotten expensive product and another 1-star for equally rotten support.
Oh yes, like all the other minute tubes of superglue, as soon as you take the top off, it clags up solid.
I could recommend a much cheaper brand that comes in much larger bottles with an activator and is quite good for mitred joints, but I wont.
PS Did get a reply from Henkle (Loctite) to the effect that Loctite All Plastics is the the only glue they know that sticks plastics, which it doesn't.
Tried it again, cap stuck on, most of contents in solid blob outside the tube. Had to use pliers to get it open.
So nearly £7 for a repair that didn't work, a crappy little tube and activator all wasted, total rip-off.
Go to the company who Fixes Screws, get a large bottle of Mitre glue, just as good, lasts a lot longer.
Hard to believe that a company like Loctite have resorted to turning out rubbish like this.
Loctite supercrap
Just bought a bottle of loctite super glue cut end cap nothing came out cut again nothing came out €3.75 wasted what a pile of crap the bottle press side buttons don't work or it,s not been filled at factory, absolutely rubbish
Just bought new pack of Loctite…
Just bought new pack of Loctite precision super glue to glue two plastic parts together...result useless, this is the worst super glue I have ever used I will try Gorilla next time as this is the last Loctite product I will use, it still sticks flesh perfectly but anything else forget is
Not a company of integrity
Not a company of integrity. Appalling customer service and did not accept liability after one of their faulty glues oozed Out onto and expensive desk.
Don’t buy their products, try Gorilla glue instead, I am trying theirs out now.
