Simple booking process through the Booking.com website. Speedy processing of licences etc in the airport arrivals, then a short walk to collect the car, upgrade to what I ordered, and we were on our way in about 5 minutes.
Return process was equally as efficient with staff on hand.

Professional and Efficient Service
The experience was excellent from start to finish. Everything was quick and straightforward. In just a few minutes, they solved the problem we had with another rental company (Europcar).
We were in a difficult situation because we were left without a car despite having a prepaid reservation with Europcar. However, the team at Locauto responded quickly and efficiently. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free, with very little waiting time and exceptionally friendly and professional staff.
The price was higher than expected, but I understand that this was due to the last-minute booking and the high demand for rental cars at the time.
I highly recommend them.

Good quality, efficient staff
The quality (quite new car in good condition, fair price), the quick hand over process when picking up the car and at the return, the staff, which was very friendly and efficient. I can really recommend Locauto to rent a car.

Had to wait about 90 minutes to pick up car in Fumicino - very long queues and only 2 people processing - another 2 people walking around not seeming to do much. Did one way early morning drop off in Bari airport - had to leave the keys in the car as the after hours keybox was locked in the office. Was supposedly given an upgrade from a volkswagon taigo to jeep - definitely a downgrade based on safety features, back seat space. Didn’t even have an adjustable seat belt height which is problematic when you are short.

The car they gave me was in terrible…
The car they gave me was in terrible condition. The tires were completely bald, with the steel wires visible on the inside, making it extremely unsafe to drive. One of the DRL lights was also burned out. The staff didn't seem to care and didn't offer another car or any alternative solution. Unacceptable service.
