We had an amazing time with Julia!! The food stops were wonderful and all the history she gave us along the way was a bonus!! We learned so much that we never would have known otherwise. Being able to do a private tour was great, it felt tailored to us, made it easy to talk with Julia, and felt more intimate and worth the money.

My friend and I participated in the Street Food Tour in Rome. Debora was our guide. She was knowledgeable about the neighborhoods we walked through, as well as the food. It was such a an easy-going tour that it felt like we were being guided by a friend or family member who was happy to show us around their city. Everything we tasted was delicious! This tour was worth every penny! Local Aromas offers so many other experiences, and I would definitely book with them again if I ever get the chance to return to Italy.

We had an amazing time exploring the city and its food. What a great way to experience our first evening in Rome! The food was so very tasty, and plentiful. (I got to experience all the foods I’ve been seeing on TikTok during my trip planning!).

Our guide, Alessandra (I hope I spelled that correctly) was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely patient with us and our many questions. Her passion for her job, for her city, and for people really came through in our time with her.

The whole pasta tasting experience was incredible, but Benny's personality and knowledge really put it over the top! I would give this experience more than five stars if I could. The four pastas were amazing (still dreaming about them now), Benny taught us so much about the culture of Rome, and the location was perfect. I couldn't recommend this experience enough!!

My husband and I booked with Local Aromas for our honeymoon. We did the Pizza and Gelato tour with Benedetta and it was amazing! Benedetta knew so much about the pizzas we tried, the history behind them, and so much about Rome. She took us to the best gelato spots and the pizza was the best I've ever had. More than that, Benedetta was so kind and knowledgable. She made sure to answer all of our questions and really took the time to get to know us. My husband and I had so much fun on the tour and would 100% reccomend this experience to anyone visiting Rome.

My family and I booked the sunrise tour of Rome and what an amazing experience! Being able to see Rome early in the morning without the crowds of people was awesome! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable giving us the history about each and every stop we made we couldn’t ask for anything more. Can’t forget about stopping for cappuccinos & pastries during the tour. I highly recommended tour it’s a must when visiting Rome. Thank you Local Aromas for setting this tour up for my family and I and look forward to working with you again next summer!

My teenage daughters and I were in Rome for only a short period of time so we booked the Roman Street Food tour as a way of sampling Italian cuisine while seeing the city.
Communication with Local Aromas was excellent and Desiree was responsive to all my questions. The meeting spot instructions were clear and we met our guide Sara on time as planned.
The tour was absolutely wonderful. Sara was authentic and engaging and truly passionate about Italian culture and cuisine. She guided us through four tasting spots, which were thoughtfully curated. From real Italian pizza to Supplì to trapizzino to gelato, Sara guided our taste buds and our minds through the colourful history of Roman cuisine.
By the end of the tour, we had a new Italian bestie and gained so much knowledge about the area. It truly was a highlight of our month-long trip. Thank you, Sara and Local Aromas for a wonderful experience.

We absolutely loved our Sunrise tour! Marco was very sweet, knowledgeable and professional. We went to the major sites, including the Colosseum, Keyhole, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Vatican, Pantheon and more. The temperature was cool, little to no people and plenty of opportunities for pictures. We were also taken to a scenic overlook to watch the Sunrise as well as to a cafe for breakfast before being dropped back at our lodging. It was the absolute best way to see everything ❤️ 20/10 recommendation

Deborah was our guide for our afternoon foodie tour. She was fantastic! Our first stop was to try some pizza, Margherita pizza was a fav (and classic) but I also enjoyed a unique flavor with pesto which was so fresh and delicious. We then went to another place for pasta, my daughter and I decided on a Rome favorite, Carbonara and it was the best we have had. We then took a nice stroll over to Trastevere where we stopped for suppli and a newer dish created in Rome called Trapizzino, which were both tasty treats and a favorite for my 10 year old. We then walked around until we stopped for gelato. Deborah was so kind and helpful and explained about the different foods, as well as the history around where we walked.

We booked The Roman Street Food Tour with Local Aromas based on a recommendation from a friend! Beni, our tour guide, was so wonderful! She was warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable about Roman, and Italian history. Not only did we have a fantastic, personal food experience, we made an Italian friend! Grazie Mille for everything! 1000% do it! This has been the highlight of our vacation!

Local Aromas facilitated a significant part of our trip to Rome; from cooking classes to private tours. The cooking classes were led by an accomplished chef in a quintessential Italian villa just outside of the city center. We decided on 2 classes on 2 different days but did not know it would be at the same place until after we had paid. I would have scheduled something different had I known we would be back at the same house, however, we were not disappointed with the experience.

The tours that Local Aromas set up for us were fantastic and very well delivered. Although I started my dialogue with the "Local Experience Manager" many months before time to buy tickets, communications were lost and consequently our tickets were not purchased in a timely manner so we did not get the experience we intended to.

There were a few times I needed to get in touch with someone from Local Aromas due to traffic issues and a guide being late, but I was never able to get a response.

I wanted to give 5 stars to Local Aromas but the lack of communication, lack of details, and changes in schedules last minute lost one star. The experience was quiet expensive so my expectations were very high for 5 stars.

What a great experience. We did the Roman street food tour on May 20th and the 4 Roman pastas tour on the 21st. Both tours were fantastic and we can’t wait to use Local Aromas again on our next trip to Italy.

We cannot say enough good things about this tour, and especially our tour guide Deborah. She was incredibly knowledgeable about Roman street food, but also Italian cuisine in general. She was so easy to talk to and to ask questions of. She took her time to explain all of the various options at each stop and even gave recommendations for additional places to try during our time in Rome. The whole team at Local Aromas is wonderful and definitely a company we would use again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful time in Rome!

This class was a highlight of our time in Italy! Christina and her daughter Valentina were incredibly gracious hosts. We loved everything about this class, from making the delicious tiramisu, practicing the techniques for fettuccine and gnocchi, and learning about the traditional sauces of Rome. We got to enjoy bruschetta, cheese, sausage, and wine, along with all the wonderful food we made in a BEAUTIFUL outdoor setting (the location was just as fabulous as the class!). We all agreed that we wish we had more time in Rome to take another class with Christina.

Fabulous tour! Our guide was so knowledgeable not only about the local foods but the history of the city. We tried delicious foods and wines all over the local neighborhoods while learning more about local’s lives here. My favorite part were the tips to find these amazing foods on our own for the rest of our trip, and of course the PIZZA!

Great experience with our guide, Deborah! She was a wealth of knowledge and the food stops were delicious and thoughtfully planned.

My family and I did the Travestere walking food tour. Benny was amazing and personable and knowledge and highly recommend her!! The Roman street food experience was something we would have not experienced on our own.
She provided us with amazing food and local history of Rome. Thank you for everything!

On our first day in Rome we went on the street food tour with Debra. We purposely didn’t eat all day so that when we started our tour at 3:00 pm we were good and hungry and thankfully so! We had so much delicious food throughout our tour! Debra was so friendly and knowledgeable of not only the best local food but also history of Italy and Rome. We loved that we were able to try local restaurants we otherwise wouldn’t have known about. We had such a great time!

Our cooking class was so special! We took the 4 Roman Pastas class. Our instructor welcomed my husband and me into her beautiful home. It was such an enjoyable evening and was a highlight of our trip! The food was delicious, and we have already made two of the pasta recipes at home. We are so happy that we booked this and would love to take another class the next time we're in Rome. We can’t recommend the class enough!!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Fadi. Not only did we go to some great local spots to enjoy food and wine but we got to learn about the city as well. Fadi taught us about architecture, some history as well as beautiful store to buy the cutest Italian clothing for our granddaughters. He made it feel like we were walking the streets with a friend rather than a tour guide.
