The team that worked with me were amazing. Starting with Michael Plata. He real took his time I don’t want to leave Alexa and Jessica.

First I was told we'd have a payout of around $19,000 but I said no. Then I was told I'd get a lower interest rate if I took the additional payout so I said yes. I was also told not to make payments to creditors since LoanDepot would be paying them. Later I was told the payout was $9000. When I saw that our appraisal came back at more than originally anticipated I asked if we could get a higher payout. I asked more than once and was ignored. I was told our monthly payment would be less than $3000 but it was over that. I was told we would receive our checks to the creditors "overnight" and that we'd receive them on February 12th. We never received them until February 16th. I had told my creditors that I'd be sending payments on the 12th. I'm also extremely disappointed that the creditors couldn't be paid directly like my mortgage was. I sent the payments to the creditors the day I received them, but a week later and none have posted as it appears the mail takes forever to get to its destination. So now my credit report looks even worse because all my payments are late. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I wish I had gone through another company.
