Terrible Company

I tried to get a loan and it said I was approved and sent them the information required. They later send message back saying requirements aren't met. Why even bother saying approved in the first place? I didn't read the reviews until now but I see why people are unsure regarding business with these guys. There are way too many 1 stars and I'm sure it's not because they're helping anybody.

This is the absolute worst loan company…

This is the absolute worst loan company I have ever dealt with. I got into a financial situation and like other loan companies who offered me a lower payout and a payment plan because they actually Care about you these guys threaten and bully you every day 4 or 5 times a day if you are even an hour late. I had to go down to one income because my fiance went to jail for hurting my daughter. And he has left me struggling to catch up on everything. This company has no empathy at all. Do not deal with them. They will call you a liar, a thief and do not understand that you have to pay mortgage and utility bills before them as you need a place to live. And if it gets sent to court they will take 45% of your wages. Worst company ever. I wish I had read these reviews before loaning with them.

So I got approved

So I got approved, held off sending my PAD form because I wasn't to sure about this company. I went to this site to view the reviews and needles to say I wasn't impressed. So I emailed them and told them I was not interested, and they responded with a cancelation email. Two days later. These mofos call my cell private number, I didn't answer.. so they DECIDED to call my WORK PHONE! and when the call got transferred to me I answer, they hung up and called my cell again. THIS TIME I ANSWERED AND I WAS PISSED! So I firmly asked if they called my job and she said yes, I cut her off and told her I don't appreciate it and I am NOT interested in your loan as I said in the email.
I cannot imagine what it would be like of you had a loan through these people. Unreal!.

I am sickened and absolutely furious

I am sickened and absolutely furious by an email I have just received from this disgusting company.

I have had to fly back to London England for a family emergency and I also suffer with mental health and anxiety. I am a little behind on my payments and receive the following email.

----------------------
You need to make a payment towards your account immediately.

Who do you think you are to take money from a financial situation and disappear.

Your behaviour is pitiful and you should be absolutely embarrassed with yourself.

Get your finances in order or we will start taking control of this ourselves
------------------

This is not only totally unprofessional but disgusting and completely out of order.

I will be sending this to every single financial regulation service and every single reviews site.

I will be calling head office and making such a fuss about this that you will end up paying me money and wiping out my debt.

This women needs to be sacked immediately. I have worked for one of the biggest customer service companies in the world and have over 14 years experience and never have I seen anything like this.

I am in England so can only be reached by email and I expect a response.

NEVER EVER NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE BORROW FROM THIS COMPANY.

They are a scam

They are a scam. Have been a customer for two years now. They sent me an email offering to refinance my loan at 23.5%. Contacted them and sent them all my info and they came back with a loan at 47.5%. When called out on it they claim it was a technical glitch and that email was sent out to all of their customers.

Have been reported to Service Alberta for bait and switch. I highly recommend staying away from them at all costs.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD

Got into an accident two weeks before covid, then covid hit and found out I lost my job and this guy Eligh from loan away harrasses me makes threats and now threatining to get a warrant to get my car!!! Still out of a job still nothing from there insurance I pay for instead I get lies from custermer service and they take out weekly payments and this guy eligh says oh we made a settlement 3000$ on a 1500$ loan and $5,000 of interest!!! I have decided to declare bankruptcy and his THREATS have become more aggressive up to saying he will show up at my home personally!!! He is now harrasing my facebook friends, instagram and called one of my neighbors just an hour ago 11:30PM! If you are being harrased by this company please contacg my attorney Eric as he is preparing a lawsuit against this company and this particular and so far we have 108 people who have joined this lawsuit and have hired invstigators as well. These people are fraud!!! Also note that they will resend you a new contract with your signture copied and pasted on it saying you will forfit all belongings if you do not pay and be responsible for the costs as well. Then you take out your original contract and it says something completely diffrent! They might think they are some kind of mob but they are FU**ING with the wrong person!!!

Trust me when I say it’s not worth it!

Trust me when I say it’s not worth it. Not only are the negative reviews on here honest issues that you’ll probably personally experience if you make the same mistake. I’m also gonna forewarn you that they will sit and harass you for literally years. They will not close your account and send it to collections or anything so kind. Instead, if you happen to say lose your job and can’t make a payment (of course somehow the insurance they con you into getting for if you get injured or lose your job and no longer have an income somehow magically doesn’t actually cover your particular situation.....) they will quite literally keep it open and accumulating interest while dinging your credit randomly with hard checks for years. No joke. It’s been 3 years for me and still going. I’m not kidding or exaggerating. They are not going to help you. Please don’t get trapped like so many do by them.

Bad Business.

Bad Business.. they are a fraud company and charge you 70% interest rate on you loan. If you need a loan that bad to to cash4u or moneymart. They will make you take they’re bogus insurance then when you actually get laid off they won’t let you claim it. They call you job and references everyday. They will take credit checks out on you every 3 months. They will go into you bank when ever they feel and take different payments out. Please read there 2 star reviews and there BBB complaints before you think about using them. There are lots of bad credit company’s to use that don’t charge you 70% interest rate and have a really bad report for doing bad business. Please do your research before using this company.

This company is sleazy

This company is sleazy, unprofessional and disgusting. They have been harassing me and my entire friends list on Facebook messenger. The kicker is that I never had a loan with them. They have the wrong person. I told them this and to stop harassing me immediately and they proceeded to tell me I'm lying. I hope whomever this is never pays them a cent. They are sketchy and and I have heard about them harassing people. Whomever you are reading this...you can do better. Find another way. Don't get caught up in this scam of a pathetic company. Seriously. Things will get better I promise you.

Quick, Easy, Friendly, & Helpful if You Have Bad Credit

I just came out of bankruptcy (fully discharged) and it was an absolute headache trying to find a loan to help me rebuild my credit. I asked for $1000...they almost immediately pre-approved me for $2000...I provided updated statement info and a copy of my discharge certificate, and they settled at $1500. This is great, because it allows me to put a small deposit on a secured credit card, pay off part of a deposit, AND have a little extra to pay for my vacation flights this summer.

This is repayable over 18mths at $56.49 biweekly (which is incredibly reasonable), and the best part is, THERE'S NO EARLY PAYOFF PENALTY.

I work for a high-interest online lender myself, and I understand how people get frustrated with online companies, calling them scams, etc. However, if you carefully read your loan documents, they LITERALLY tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about how much you're borrowing, how much you'll pay back at the end of the term, and what your APR is. Very transparent if you take the time to read through it.

ALSO....if a company is asking you to pay in some kind of gift card....THAT is clearly a scam, a legitimate company will NEVER ask for that kind of thing. LoanAway is based in Toronto, and has some of the friendliest people I've talked to. And they did not shame me for my bankruptcy either.

I look forward to repaying in full as soon as I am able! Until then $56.49 biweekly works well for me :)

THANKS GUYS!! <3

EDIT TO INCLUDE: I signed my docs just after 7pm CST on 01/28/2020. It's now 4:45pm CST on 1/29/2020, and I already have my funds! Less than 24hrs! Most impressive!

Be warned

made it sound nice and easy. Told me I was approved and that I was waiting for finalization email. I then received a phone call saying I was denied. I then received an email saying that I cancelled the loan, and I could try again if I wanted to. Should’ve listened to the reviews.
