The replacement card reader pairs with the phone! Thank heavens. At last. Communication has been a bit long winded but we got there in the end. Phone staff have been polite, but I don't remember my old reader being as difficult as this episode to get operating. Upgrade of software needed?

We were reviewing our options when our previous provider decided to increase rates quite significantly. Lloyds being our bankers pointed us in the direction of Lloyds Cardnet to obtain a quote to move across. Michael Scott of Lloyds Cardnet merchant services managed to obtain a great deal for us, which enabled us to move across. The help and advice provided was excellent and the move seamless. Been with Cardnet over 4 months now. Would highly recommend.

The set up leaflet said to put the SIM card in - there wasn’t one in the box , so I rang to say it was missing - they said it was already inserted but if I’d opened the SIM card slot to check then the card reader wouldn’t work ( luckily I hadn’t thought to check if it was already in )
So , the instructions need to be corrected
