LiverMore Mortgages are simply the best for older borrowers. Just completed a remortgage which was absolutely stress free and straightforward after having been rejected by the mainstream lenders and our own mortgage company to refinance. We are excellent customers but the mainstream lenders don’t appear to appreciate that or take that into account and have no flexibility so are missing a trick. LiveMore appreciate the older customer and we are so grateful to have come across them. Umar Khan our mortgage adviser was just excellent.

Avoid at all costs, if you value your mental health and well being. This company took my broker and myself through a rollercoaster ride for a year, trying to firstly remortgage and then failing on that, to purchase another property. It took 5 and a half months to say ‘no’ the first time and was still rolling on the second property for 3 months before I ended the process. The most stressful year of my life filled with demand after demand for an extremely low LVT with an upfront 50% deposit. Ludicrous on a Retirement Interest Only mortgage! Do not fall for their tricks, this is definitely not the route to go.

Umah explained the process in a patient and friendly, but remained totally professional at all times. He displayed good knowledge and provided excellent guidance. I felt he gave me good solid advice and direction and can’t thank him enough, and highly recommend him as your broker. I would like to wish him all the best for the future.

To follow up from my previous review, my new mortgage completed as planned this week. Thanks once again to the excellent service from Umar Khan. Not only did he organise everything from the start, but as we needed to complete some weeks in advance, he was in touch regularly to ensure things were going to plan. I highly recommend Livemore and especially Umar to anyone seeking a later life mortgage.

I didn't know that companies like this still exist. The level of courtesy, understanding, efficiency and communication was exemplary from start to finish. This started with LiveMore's advisor, Mark Finan, who went through the advice and application process with thoroughness and good humour, answering all our questions clearly. Our offer was received within 24 hours of the property valuation being completed. We used Adlington Law (suggested by Mark because of positive feedback from other clients). They also were a pleasure to deal with.

We had applied about 18 months earlier for equity release through a broker who suggested a different company. It was unbelievably stressful and we cancelled the application because of that. The experience with LiveMore could not have been more different. We applied direct and were so pleased that we did - and no intermediary fees to pay!
