We found Sue when we had exhausted all options to help our son with his toileting, he had complex medical trauma and we were desperate for support. Sue took the time and care to understand our circumstances, the history of our son’s toileting experience and really got to know him through discussions and questions.
Between us we come up with a plan, the plan was adjusted at several points based on my son’s reactions and behaviour. Sue was so calm and patient and coached me and my husband how to support our son, she gave us hope when we had none left. We simply wouldn’t be where we are now without her. My son is now happily wearing pants, using the potty with no fear, stress or anxiety. This is something we could only dream of 3 months ago!

Sue helped us see things from a different perspective and helped us to change our way of managing this situation to help aid better results.
After a month we have very little resistance, the tantrums have reduced by 90% and our son’s mistakes have been little to nothing. He’s been more regular with his poo and rarely with holds now.

Sue was not only super helpful on our consultation call with her, but her Hub is a wealth of knowledge that we feel lucky to be able to dip into as issues arise. Our daughter has some challenges with potty training, so the hub has provided both ourselves and our nursery with clear guidance on next steps in an easy to read, informative collection which is super helpful and fingers crossed will get our daughter to where she needs to be very soon.

We were recommended to Sue by a friend of ours when experiencing a sudden onset of sleep issues with our eldest (age 4). He went from visiting our room numerous times each night to not visiting at all within 1 week of implementing the tips Sue gave us. If he now regresses on occasion, we’re able to deal with it quickly using Sue’s tools, so everyone gets better sleep. We won’t hesitate to speak to Sue again if any other sleep or behavioural issues come up with any of our children.

We were nervous about potty training our 18 month old. Sue put us at ease by saying we could try and if it didn’t work we could go back to nappies, which other potty training consultants don’t believe in. We followed her online course with groundwork steps first, then paid for a one to one follow up call which was worth it as we could ask specific questions and get tailored help. Sue was generous in her support and it worked for us!

We were recommended Sue by a friend, after really struggling with our son’s potty training. We loved our session, who taught us to make simple but effective changes – and it worked. Since, we have been back to Sue many times for help & support across potty training, sleeping & behaviour. Highly recommend!

We are so incredibly grateful for the support and guidance we’ve received from our amazing sleep consultant. Thanks to her, our two-year-old has not only given up the bottle but has also successfully transitioned to a big bed—and is now sleeping through the night! Her gentle, thoughtful approach made what felt like an overwhelming process so much easier and more manageable for our whole family.
She truly took the time to understand our child’s needs and worked with us every step of the way. Her advice was always practical, compassionate, and tailored to our family. The positive changes we’ve seen have made such a difference in our lives—we’re all more rested and happier as a result.
We’re now looking forward to working with her again as we begin toilet training, confident that we’re in the best hands. Thank you for helping our little one (and us!) thrive.

We reached out to Sue for support with our 3-year-old’s very long and drawn-out bedtime routine. From the very first conversation, it was clear that Sue approaches sleep with empathy, insight, and a deep understanding of children and families. She doesn’t offer one-size-fits-all solutions – instead, she takes the time to get to know your child’s personality, the family dynamics, and what’s really going on beneath the surface.
Sue helped us step into our child’s world, better understand his needs, and make small but meaningful changes that brought immediate results. Bedtimes now feel calmer, more connected, and far less exhausting. We’ve come away with not just a better routine, but more confidence as parents and a stronger bond with our little one.
If you’re looking for someone who sees the whole child, works with compassion, and brings clarity and light to parenting challenges – Sue is absolutely the one to call.

We contacted Sue after trying to potty train our 3 year old daughter multiple times with no success. To say she’s helped us would be an understatement. Sue really listened to our issues (our daughter had a fear of releasing on the potty) and took her time to understand our daughter’s nature and then created a plan for us to help her conquer potty training. When we had issues along the way, Sue was always available to give new ideas and tips and our daughter is now using the potty confidently, without fear, and we’re so grateful for the support Sue gave us. I highly recommend.

We asked Sue @Littlelifesteps for support with our child’s toileting. She was incredibly helpful: really getting to know us as a family and providing practical advice tailored to our child. She always responded quickly to questions, was flexible on timings for calls / support periods, and provided lots of written and video resources for us to keep even after our support period had ended. I would recommend her to any family experiencing similar issues.

Sue was our lifeline! She is so knowledgeable and I cannot believe the difference her advice made almost instantly. She has completely transformed our daughter’s sleep habits and she is a happier calmer child as a result. I feel more connected to her and like I understand her more. I will definitely be seeking out Sue’s advice any time we feel out of our depth! Would recommend to any parent.

We had trouble with our 2 year old son waking in the night and associating breastfeeding with sleep. Sue really helped us by changing up his routine which made a big difference straight away. He stopped the night wakings and started dropping the need for breastfeeding to.
It was also taking a long time to get him to bed but sue gave us plenty of advice and tips to improve this.
I can't say all our sleeping problems are solved as it seems to be one thing after another but we have plenty of information to refer back to.
It's been a huge help, thank you x

We have used Sue a number of times over the years on all manner of parenting issues, from sleep training and potty training through to sibling rivalry. She is a parenting guru and her advice always works wonders. No problem is too big or too small and she’s great at providing swift, non-judgemental advice.
We also recently did a sleep training course through her and the results were amazing. Our child is now much calmer, more affectionate and a lot kinder to their sibling.
Thanks Sue!

I highly recommend Little Life Steps, Sleep Talk. I’m just finishing phase 3 and have seen great results with the children in every way from sleep, school work, emotional regulation, social relationships and general family life. Sue is fantastic and is extremely professional, helpful and supportive the entire way through. I’ve tried a lot of different approaches to try and achieve the results that we have now thankfully experienced through working with Sue. Thanks for all your help Sue🙏👌🏻

Sue has been absolutely brilliant with helping us and our little girl get her wees in the toilet. After years (yes years!) of accidents, piles of washing, toilet refusals etc. Sue helped us to completely turn this around with simple strategies and we went the whole half term completely accident free! Our little girl is now better able to recognise when she needs the toilet and take control over her own toileting needs. A huge thank you Sue.
I reached out to Sue when we were having a tough time with our toddler's behaviour and our baby's sleep - the initial consultation call was full of reassurance, helpful advice and guidance. We then went on to purchase the 4 week behaviour course for toddlers which was jam packed with really useful information and ways to make practical changes at home. After just two sessions, we have completely turned our toddlers behaviour around and I do credit this down to Sue's course - our home is now calmer, happier and full of positive behaviour. I wouldn't hesitate to turn to Sue again if we needed further guidance.

Sue is amazing!
After lots of refusing to use the toilet, and after speaking to Sue and getting a plan together our little boy finally uses the toilet with no nappy, he does wee’s at pre school which he never used to do, he used to just wet himself and now he just takes himself to the toilet without any adult help. Sue has been life changing!
Thank you so much. I would definitely recommend for anyone who’s struggling with potty training.

Sue is a wonder woman! Her knowledge and experience is invaluable. The advice, patience and support she has given our family has got us through so many struggles as our two littlies have grown up.
We started with baby massage when Little Life Steps was first born and have continued to look to Sue for support through each of the childrens mile stones ever since.

We had a call with Sue and started using the language she suggested with our little one and it's made a difference! He's having a lot less accidents and has even taken himself to the potty a few times. He also said "it hurting mummy" which he hasn't said for a long time, so he's also feeling confident and safe to tell us that! Just a few small changes that Sue recommended and already noticing a difference. She knows her stuff!
