This is the second review I have written. I think it’s relevant as our journey with AAC - specifically with Scott in Glasgow - has progressed significantly and our confidence and trust in the tailored and very personal guidance we’ve been given has just grown and grown. I’d suggest Scott is more like a trusted friend than a financial advisor. He understands our personal and financial circumstances, our aspirations and our fears and continues to provide us with very timely, succinct and tailored advice which has recently allowed us to make a huge, life changing decision - a decision we would never have made without the trust we have in the ongoing advice we receive from Scott and AAC.

Received great advice from AAC, helping with some specific issues and providing reassurance that our finances are in good order in the lead up to retirement. It's great to have a clear picture of planned income and expenditure in a way that wasn't possible before. Good investment advice too!

Advanced assets handled all my money and is a great service , my advisor Dave helps with everything and anything I happen to need there is a very easy interface that gives you direct messages to your advisor I would highly recommend this company to anyone

We have been clients of David’s for over 35 years and also to other family members through the years. David and Advanced Asset Team has looked after the financial side of our funds and guided us with his expertise. We can send him an email and he promptly replies or gives you a call back. Thinking back to 2010 (ish), we met with a representative from Advanced Asset Consultants to discuss how best to make our savings work for us in planning for a retirement that seemed so far away (at the time!).

We are ordinary people with family commitments, and fortunate enough to have had extra money to invest long term to support a potential early retirement should we choose.

We aren’t financially astute, we don’t follow market trends or read the Financial Times, but we recognise and value good people. WE were made to feel valued. We receive annual visits, regular statements, regular reviews and assessments of our attitude to risk, all of which we can access via our online portal. We can also testify to having been very fortunate in that we have engaged with the same financial advisor and team throughout - that speaks volumes too!

Fast forward to today and that seemingly far off early retirement is our current reality. We were able to make that decision with the support of Advanced Asset Management, realising the cash benefits and savings our investments have made over the previous 15 or so years because we engaged with them to formulate a wealth creation plan - put simply, how to make our money work for us and how it would support us in the absence of an employment income.

But it wasn’t just about our investments, it was about how to plan for the next (hopefully) 25-30 years, what to do about our pensions and savings in the bank, how do we manage those and include them into the overall pot of available pennies - remember, we’re not the experts!

We provided all the pension information to our financial advisor and let them do the work. When we met to discuss their findings and examine the wealth report they had created for us, we could never have understood or interrogated the information ourselves. Their diligence in uncovering the details of what and when our various pensions would deliver was enlightening! The report detailed options, all based on the information we had provided relating to our lifestyle and personal pensions, for example, whether to leave or transfer them, how to manage any lump sum payments etc etc. The honest, frank conversations explaining what the various options meant for us was invaluable in helping us make the decisions outlined within our wealth plan, and we did it, and understood it, because we have trusted the people and have lived the experience of investing for our financial future.

It’s daunting taking the step of trusting your hard earned cash to something you may not understand, but I can wholeheartedly recommend you trust Advanced Asset Consultants, because they understand, and they work for you.
