A Welcoming, Empowering Experience at Lions of Judah Boxing Academy

From the moment I stepped into Lions of Judah Boxing Academy, I felt genuinely welcomed. Roger Dorway, the head coach, has a rare ability to make you feel like you belong—no matter your experience level. He didn’t just teach boxing; he built up my confidence from the ground up.

Roger took the time to get to know me, understood where I was starting from, and made me feel completely at home in the gym. His approach is both encouraging and firm—he pushes you to be your best while never making you feel out of place. The positive energy he brings creates an atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back.

Thanks to Roger and the environment he’s created at Lions of Judah, I not only grew as a boxer, but I left each session feeling stronger mentally and physically. If you’re looking for a place where you’re respected, challenged, and supported.

Great gym, welcoming coaches and fantastic equipment

This is the first Gym where I have experienced and seen everyone getting indivdual attention and personalised training/goals from the coach and team. The overall culture is friendly and supportive, and the branding and merch it top quality making you feel part of a communty. Would reccommend 100%.

I go twice a week for personal 1-1 sessions, ive also known the head coach roger for some time now. star chap, all his trainers are great people, great atmosphere. cant fault it.

My son loves training here and has gained confidence and discipline. Highly recommend!

Lion of Judah brings hope and faith into the lives of local youths and their families. The boxing provsion has helped to restore faith in the community, because of the care that is reflected within their setting. If you believe your child’s self esteem and confidence could do with some more growth, I would suggest that you engage with their provision.

My 2 boys are trained at lions of judah they are 8 and 12 and love it. They was made to feel at ease and part of the gym from the first session. Great way for kids to build confidence.

Great gym and a great community with some Top coaches teaching all kinds of ring craft and fitness. Classes for kids youth and adults. Roger is a top man and mentor for kids. Always enjoy this place and it’s community.
