Nice looking machine, easy to assemble and really efficient in cleaning ash from our woodburning stoves. Good that they included UK adaptor. Quick delivery considering it came from Italy.

Being based in the UK I had not…

Being based in the UK I had not realized this was an Italian website and that I would receive the product with only Italian instructions and a 2 pin European plug. However, the item was delivered quickly and the problem resolved with a UK plug adapter.

Avoid ! Really disappointed

Really disappointed
After the payment made , there were no communication anymore , so be careful !
Should have receive the item 2 days ago
I am trying to communicate with them the only thing they say is ... the delivery company will contact you , no protocol or track number, and no delivery company name was provided .
Need to improve the customer services and trustable informations after sales .
So avoid headaches.

Ive ordered a band saw hoping it…

Ive ordered a band saw hoping it wouldnt be too long as i have a small buissness to try and setup i though ordering from this company would be fine and yet to find out after they reside in italy i was ment to recive my order today from which i am not i ordered it on the 28/10/20 on their web page it says dispatch same day yet it wasnt sent until the 30/10/20 so im now gotta sit and wait for this hopeless courier to turn up one day
I never even recived a tracking number until i asked for one
I definitely will do my homework in future and see where companies actually reside and not go by a co.uk adress

Second day yet more pathetic excuses
Maybe this company shouldnt be allowed to make you pay for an Express shipping

So its been a week now since these italian scammers was supposed to sent me this band saw i doubt that it will ever turn up and hopefully i can claim it back on my card

Terrible service support

I tired to purchase a bandsaw from Lineonline based on their price point and favorable reviews. I say tried as I have yet to receive my order. It has been a week past the delivery date advertised for express delivery which was charged for.
The response from the seller has been unacceptable where they claim to have shipped the product but cannot issue me with a working tracking number for the courier or even who the actual courier is. They have stated the courier will contact me sometime. I constantly get vague or dismissive responses.
They may be good in Europe but I would avoid using them in the UK.
I would recommend that as a business you share phone numbers for support and not just a WhatsApp or email option.

Very unhappy with the goods received and the seller's responses.

The saw I received was effectively secondhand! It had obviously been sold, partially assembled but then returned for some reason. The box had been resealed, the packaging was damaged, there was a loose bolt at the bottom of the box and some bolts and a nut were completely missing. The instructions were in virtually every European language - apart from English. The seller is an Italian company (which I did not know when I placed the order) but my complaint was dealt with by a lady with perfect English. She was absolutely adamant that they only sold brand new goods but whether it was her company's or the distributors' fault this was not "brand new" by any definition. I only managed to get it working by delving into my own "odds" tin to find replacements for the missing bolts and nut.
The seller’s response to my complaint was to offer me a 5% discount off my next purchase from them as their attempt to establish a “meeting point”. That serves to illustrate their lack of concern for their poor service and I will never again subject myself to the extreme irritation involved with dealing with them. I will stick to reputable firms in future.

Avoid! Just tried to buy from this
.co.uk company. Never been UK and flag up as a accounting company. In Italy, You know one you would obviously buy a motorised wheel barrow from. Within 2 mins bill went up by £200. PayPal stopped transaction quickly for us an luckily lost nothing.

Worst buying experience ever

Ordered a bandsaw was charged more than…
Ordered a bandsaw was charged more than the grand total, I asked if I could cancel the order days later got a reply saying it had already been sent but they had requested a return to the courier. I waited a few days and asked when I would receive my refund (£710)
They said the item had just been returned to the warehouse and it was been processed... again I waited a few days and emailed them again only to get a reply they had not received the item.
I contacted the courier and they told me the item hand been returned and delivered as they requested and provided me with tracking and proof of delivery.
This company stopped replying to me, I contacted PayPal and they opened a case for me for a refund.... they did not even reply to PayPal, Thanks to PayPal I got a refund however I was out of pocket for £710 for a month.
Please note this company is not in the uk and you will pay more than the grand total.
This company if that’s what you can call it Is actually in Italy and has been my worst buying experience ever
For them to say they don’t have a item when they do and don’t want to give a refund says it all...

Just a update after there reply, Yes I got a refund from PayPal only after opening a case... this company made no attempt to refund me of my £710 and they denied having the item back... the money came out of there PayPal account only because paypal refunded me...
this is the first time I’ve left a review after buying something...Thought I would share with others and hopefully you don’t make the same mistake that I did, Saying this company is bad is a understatement.

Unhelpful and disinterested to resolve warranty issue

Lavor pressure washer purchased, after 2 months of occasional use the internals of the machine started to leak making it unusable. I contacted lineonline, and was initially advised to contact the manufacturer. I provided video evidence of the leak. When I pointed out that my contract was with them, and that, as per EU regulations a failure within 6 months requires a refund, repair or replacement as remedy they said that they would need to inspect the unit and that I should return it at my own cost. The cost to return would be approximately one quarter the price of the unit. With no clear outcome once they carry out their inspection. The customer service people are completely disinterested, and unhelpful and wait until close of business each day to respond dragging out the whole process.
My options are repair at my own cost, negating the useless warranty. Or pay more money to return the unit, potentially to be told they wont fix it. I have no faith in their impartially to diagnose the problem, or just write off the expense and buy another unit elsewhere, either way I'm having to incur more expense. This is not how a warranty or customer service should work. Generally online retailers are very quick and helpful to resolve issues. Lineonline, disinterested, and unhelpful. Best avoided.

Edit revised 19/08/2020, Despite the reassuring response below from Lineonline their stance on this issue remains unchanged. In addition, I received clarification that should I return the unit (at my own expense) and the issue is deemed not to be covered under warranty, I would also have to pay the return freight, if I wanted the faulty unit back! Again every single option requires further expense with no guarantee of a resolution. I have contacted Lavor (the manufacturer), in the hope that they place some value in the concept of warranty and their reputation -awaiting response.

Avoid!!!!!

Frausters, liars and do not understand how financial transactions work. WARNING they are not a UK company. Quotes in £GBP but bills in Euros, then the bank puts a non-sterling transaction fee. They will send you electronics with EU plug instead of UK. Their site is made to look like a UK based company. When you complain they say “sorry, that’s your assumption we are a UK company”. To top it all off no emails from them and no tracking information, plus their English on the phone is poor. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Edit- I see the below response and think they have broken EU law on transactions, I was not given the choice in what currency I was billed in. I was quoted in £, “paid” in £ but it was charged in Euros.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS WEBSITE....We…

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE....We have just ordered a BBQ from these not relishing it was Italian until I received an email response. The bbq was damaged in three places although the packaging was not damaged. So suggest it was packed damaged. I ask them to send replacements which they refused and offered me €20 refund. The bbq cost me £395. They are not willing to help at all. Take it or leave it

Faulty goods, they don’t want to know.

Although it looks like a UK site it is Italian. I bought a Stanley compressor which arrived in reasonable time. The compressor functioned correctly the first two times I turned it on. After that the pressure switch failed and the compressor is now useless. I contacted their customer service and they just don’t want to know, get it fixed yourself is their response. I would never use them again.

Be aware, not UK operation, hidden charges apply

I left this review on the linonline.co.uk review page as that is where I bought from but as most reviews appear here and the page has been claimed by Lineonline I have posted it here too.

UPDATE! 8/7/20
Goods received but without the promised advance notice. Have also had a reply from Lineonline that they did not receive the extra £9.95. these appear to be credit card charges - still not happy as the co.uk site is priced and paid in GBP!

Bought from the .co.uk website in sterling - or so I thought. (you should also check out the lineonline.it review page)

Charge to my card is £9.95 higher than the order value and now my card company has charged a non sterling transaction fee. None of this was clear from the Lineonline website. That was 7 days ago. According to my order status it has packaged and ready for collection by courier "within 24hrs" - for some days, but I have an email saying it is not in stock awaiting delivery from supplier. I can accept some "lost in translation" issues now I know its Italian based but if I order and pay in Sterling I expect that to be correct not for hidden charges to be levied. I also expect that when I buy an item that the website says is in stock for it actually to be in stock and shipped to me not for that to be a lie as it appears it may be. Hopefully the goods will arrive, I will get back my non sterling fee and overcharge amount - I will post again!
