Brilliant bowling and brilliant Bethany
We had three lanes of bowling, arcade credits and food for a joint birthday party. Everything was great but special mention to Bethany who did a fantastic job of looking after us. She was brilliant.

Fabulous service and great staff
I came to the cinema 22.07.22 with 3 children after traveling from Manchester to find i had the wrong date for the theatre show i booked across the road. When i explained the staff where so sympathetic and booked us in for the minion film. They cheered us right up while talking to them. Service was spot on and we will certainly come again. The staff are a credit to this cinema. Also clean and very comfortable

Highly recommend party at Light Cinema Stockport
We had a fabulous time at Light Cinema in Stockport bowling party.
Can highly recommend the party's there, all staff go the extra mile to help you and make sure that all children enjoyed themselves. The food was delicious, it was all well organised.
Would definitely organise another party with the gymnastic girls again.
End of Year school trip
I just wanted to write and say what a superb day we had at The Light in Sittingbourne today. Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
From the outset the day was well managed by our party organiser Beth - she was an absolute superstar! Fantastic with children and the day went like a dream. The children loved having the theatre to themselves to watch the new Minion film, they enjoyed the fresh baked pizza and delicious ice cream. The hour of bowling (and the staff there were amazing as well) was just fantastic and it was wonderful for us to see the children having such a great time considering how hard they worked this year for the Ks2 SATs. Superb value for money and somewhere we would come back to every year!

Just spoke to Ben regarding my booking for tickets. I have contracted covid, and being sensible decided not to go to the showing of the film tomorrow. Ben, who was only following procedure, told me the tickets are not refundable but can be moved. As I'm unsure of when i will be covid free, and the film may not be showing by that time, i have had them saved. Many thanks Ben, although not impressed with you company's policy of non refundable. Maybe i should just habe gone and infected everyone else. Saying that Ben was amazing

I had a family ticket but one child was poorly, so I emailed to ask if we could do anything about the extra tickets and snacks that I’d paid for, but could not use. Hayley proceeded to cancel my entire booking and move it a week later when I was very clear my husband and son would still be attending today. A very stressful morning to get my booking reinstated, then she changed the time slot we had paid for which meant they had to rush. Apparently ours was fully booked but it wasn’t as I checked the seats were still available. No apology, nothing. My whole query disregarded. Apparently she is the manager as she told me in her email, no contact number, nobody else to speak about the issue with. The “contact us” facilities for this organisation are hideous. You get lumbered with someone who doesn’t want to help you and messes up your booking causing unnecessary stress and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Probably a nice cinema to visit if you don’t require any help but other than that.. you’re screwed.

I just booked online for minions but booked for the wrong date so I went onto the live chat and Ben accepted my chat and was the nicest person he changed my booking To the right date for me and gave me the seats I wanted I will definitely be coming back
First visit to this cinema
First visit to this cinema. Parking is a free-for-all outside, we were lucky someone was just leaving or else we would have been late for the movie.
On entering there was a long queue for the food/snack counter, so I decided to get my party seated first and return to get popcorn later.
On scanning my QR code was told that the feature had been advertised as 3D by mistake, so we would be watching a 2D version. Received a "Sorry about that" from the ticket guy, which was underwhelming. My kids had been excited to see Jurassic park Dominion in 3D, so I felt let down by this weak excuse and no offer of recompense etc.
The auditorium and film was actually pretty good, seats were armchair comfortable and view/picture/souns was good (not too loud etc).
I was impressed with the pre-film brief given by a brave member of staff, reminding customers to please turn mobile phones off. She deserves praise for this (I didn't get her name).
The snacks were the usual Cinema rip off (£19 for two large drinks and two large Popcorn tubs), you get at every cinema. Though I suspect the high charge is to cover the extensive clean up required after each show, given the disgusting slovenliness of a portion of customers. Why not take your rubbish with you when you leave? There are plenty of bins. I guess they feel they have paid for the right to throw it all over the floor.
Considering the relatively higher ticket price I would have expected a better service as regards the 3D let down and probably will choose a different venue for my next visit.
Terrible experience…
So me and my sister was watching the new jurassic world and I was on my phone messaging my girlfriend to which the bouncer comes up to us and has the audacity to say I was recording the movie then as I’m trying to explain to him I was on snap chat messaging someone he says you have to leave to which we do without any issue as we’re walking out I make a comment saying I didn’t know you couldn’t message someone in the cinema I was under the impression you only had to have your phone on silent and flashlight off the bouncer then said you couldn’t come back then at that point I was so angry and frustrated with how we was being treated I flipped him of Italian style if the bouncer comes across this review I would like him to know what goes around comes around mate you can treat people like crap all you want and think you’re better than everyone but you’ll get whats coming to you soon I’m sure of it.
