Tony is Discriminatory and racist to us.
Worst experience ever.
We went to celebrate our daughter communion after church.
The Service at the bar was awfully disrespectful.
We order drinks and paid for it.
She told us to go and that she will bring the drink to us. We went and sit at the table waiting.
We waited for over 10 minutes, she didn’t serve us.
I then went to the bar to check what was going on.
When I arrived at the bar, I asked for our drinks, she said that she was the only one at the bar, so she could not bring the drinks to us.
I said ok no problem, I can take the drinks to the table.
She then ignored me and continue to serve other people.
After she finished serving them, she then came to my area, and I asked her if we are having our drinks?
She repeat that the duty manager left her alone and that they all went to watch the England Serbia Euro football Match .
I told her that she need to serve me before anyone else.
She ignored me and went to serve another new person.
I told her to call her manager, she told me to go and get the manager myself.
This was very disrespectful.
Then later after she finished serving everybody, she went downstairs to call the manager.
The manager arrived and telling me that she was crying downstairs.
I explained the manager what happened, then the manager didn’t even apologise. He asked someone else to served us after more than 30 minutes .
Later when I was sitting with my family, the manager came and asked me to leave.
This is very disrespectful and discriminatory.
I told him that we paid and were not served but were ignored voluntarily by his staff.
I requested a copy of the cctv, but he said no,
I asked his name, he said it is Tony.
He refused to give his surname.
I asked for his manager so that I can complaint, he threatened to call the police.
We left.
I hope I Will find out his manager to make a complaint.
I don’t even know if Tony is his real name, as he refused to give me his manager.
This is very disrespectful racist and discriminatory.
If there was a rating lower than 0 I would give -2.

Booked bowling at the Redhill online…
Booked bowling at Redhill online but when I arrived I realised I booked the baby section. Asked if we could be moved to the adult but they were full. Asked if we could get a refund and it was a no. Website wasn’t clear and is misleading. Spoke to manager on duty on the chat and they were useless and rude. It’s such a shame as the place is great but terrible customer service so I’ll go elsewhere in future.

The light cinema and online problem
Bunch of time wasting money grabbing no good thieving gitts a company as big as the light cinema’s. Take money for tickets and don’t give refunds on mistakes made on online you call them to be fobbed off by staff and don’t get call backs as they promised then visit at local cinema to be fobbed off more and have to wait days and days for the refund they promised you and then to be told you don’t get refunded it’s a joke what happened to customer service and the rights of the customer. It’s a joke and it’s criminal how they can get away with it it’s not far in any way and they shouldn’t be able to get away with daylight robbery. Many thanks to. The light crew who have tried to resolve this shame the person or persons at the top of the head office are unwilling to help with this

Small, friendly cinema chain
The Light Bolton, the screens are smaller than your usual multiplex, so not ideal for giant blockbusters but it's a great little cinema for regular movies. Staff are all super friendly and it almost has a family run feel to it. Great cinema for taking young children to.

I visited the Light Stockport during the Easter break with my daughter and her Friend and we had a very enjoyable meal in the lovely foyer - made extra nice due to the helpfulness of Sharon a member of staff who was fabulous - thank you

Saved to take my children bowling…
Saved to take my children bowling during half term, unfortunately there was a technical issue with my lane and missed half of my bowling and the lane was booked directly after me, children really dissapointed we had to leave, was told i had been refunded, that was 9 days ago and still not recieved my refund after numerous messages to the online chat and even visiting the branch who couldnt help either. Will never use again. I will be contacting my bank to see if they will get the money back. Shocking customer service

I was a Light member for several months, but after experiencing really bad service I decided to leave. I returned today after some time away as I really wanted to watch Dune Part 2, but found that once again the same issue had not been resolved.

WHY IS THERE AIR CONDITIONING RUNNING ON COLD IN A SCREEN WHEN IT IS 7 DEGREES OUTSIDE ?
Once again I had to wear my coat in the screen during the film, and as the lovely dry cold air was being pumped through the system I also developed a very sore throat.
I had to leave the film half way through once again, but this time I will make 100% sure that I never return to this cinema chain again, especially as the feedback goes totally unnoticed. I like to give calm and proactive feedback to help companies but they just don’t listen, even though the staff are all aware.
Be warned take a warm coat, if you’re going to visit!
Appalling service
Appalling service . Tried to book a bowling party for my son. Had to be called back. They didn’t. A message left saying texts only - no answer phone messages! Four days later tried to use the live chat feature- again no use or response. I have gone to Banbury Bowl instead - booked immediately without hassle.

Great afternoon out at the Light Cinema
Visited the Light Cinema today, had food and went to see a show. The food was wonderful and we were served by a great guy called Adam who was working behind the bar area, who was really warm and friendly and who chatted with us during our stay. Lovely to be served by an employee who is genuine and wanted to make our visit there today a happy one.
Well done Adam....be back soon to this fabulous venue.

First trip to the Light Cinema at Addlestone
First trip to the Light at Addlestone. 10 out of 10 for effort in trying to create a great atmosphere pre film.
A nice bar, great seating and a cool little pizza bar in the corner to grab a bite before your viewing.
Knocks the socks off the usual Odeon and Vue offerings (and their overpriced junk food and syrup based beverages).
A very convivial place to visit for a movie… well done 👍

Redhill- unnecessary adverts on children film sittings.
Redhill- does there really need to be 30 mins of advents and a short film before the movie on a children screen sitting? Not very appropriate for a 4 year old either at 10am. Lovely cinema I hope the management take note because it just spoils the trip out for young children and their carers.

I would like to thank Tom the manager at the light cinema walsall.There was some sound issues with a concert we went to see.He gave us two tickets to another showing and free popcorn.

Absolute ripoff!
Absolute ripoff!! Twice as expensive as other cinemas for the same sh**ty seat, unless you wanna pay even more to get a slightly bigger seat, money merchants!
Shockingly awful service
Booked in wrong place in error. Their website does not make it clear where you are booking. No way to contact them at 8.30pm so had no choice but booking again in the right location.
I was told that the original booking had been refunded and would be in my account within 5 days. That was almost 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting despite contacting them and chasing this twice. Absolutely awful customer service, don't recommend to anyone.

Honestly, such a waste of money and don’t expect any sort of customer service as they really don’t care! The adult burger was the same size as kids one, the kids hot dog was soo rubbery that my son couldn’t eat it. Ribs were just bland and they couldn’t even be bothered to cover all of them in sauce. Just altogether really poor.

Redhill - shocking service or lack of. This is the second occasion that we’ve had the same problem. 2 staff on to serve all food, drinks and coffees before a film starts. Queued for 25 minutes and left before we missed the film. The staff were obviously stressed, so were quite rude and abrupt to people too.
No soap in toilets and broken toilet roll dispensers.
Two stars given as the cinema itself is nice and clean, shame the rest let’s it down

Great pizza gone bad
Had been going every Saturday to the Light Redhill for takeaway pizza, which was delicious. In the last 2 weeks, the pizza quality has dropped by a lot, and the service is even worse than it was before. Real pity, as it was exciting when it originally opened. Wasted opportunity to build a good reputation.

Poor customer service in Sheffield
Poor customer service in Sheffield, would not listen or even pretend to care how disruptive a group at the back were being when I left the screen twice to ask them to intervene. It was ruining the film for me and others.
No understanding, empathy, apology...just a dismissive attitude.
They gave me vouchers for another screening eventually but I would've preferred to just be treated a little better, even if it was outside company policy to intervene.
I've been going here for 6yrs now and this is the only time I've asked for help, doesn't fill me with confidence.

I took my granddaughter here for her…
I took my granddaughter here for her birthday, and being a certain age I have recently got my first iPhone which I still can’t understand, well the staff where so helpful and understanding getting the right code up for scanning. The cinema it self was clean comfortable seats and so child friendly. I was helped by a lovely lady called trixi with my coffee and Childs popcorn deal which is great value for money. Afterwards in the red the child’s menu was very varied and once again the staff who helped me with my phone . The lovely lady Paris came over and helped me as I had to order at the bar as still not understand the menu with my phone (old dog new tricks ) nothing was to much trouble for her. The meal arrived quickly and was great value and very tasty. All in all a great afternoon in a child friendly atmosphere and cinema with lovely staff. I will definitely be coming back so please try as it’s great value for money . A 5 star experience. Thank you
