Failure to deliver item seems to be permanently stuck in a warehouse in Poland. I would not buy from them again and I wish I had checked them out first.

I ordered two pairs of toddler sandals and returned one due to sizing issues, covering the return shipping costs myself. Despite following up multiple times, I still haven’t received a refund for the returned item. Customer service insists the refund has been processed, but after numerous email exchanges, all I received was a screenshot without any trackable details or proof of refund. This issue has been unresolved since mid-July and has been frustratingly prolonged. Very disappointed with the service and transparency.
Update as a response to customer team that claims that the refund has been made: The refund has yet to reach my bank account. Despite the previous confirmation of the refund, I have checked several times my account thoroughly and contacted my bank al least three times and there is no record of the amount being credited.
I find it surprising and disappointing that, despite apologizing for the possible mistake regarding my refund, this matter remains unresolved. As a loyal customer, I would have expected a more attentive and proactive approach to addressing this issue, especially given that it concerns a relatively small amount.
Update as of 26.11.2024: After receiving the information regarding the payment details on the 26.11.2024 I realised that the refund was made to a different card, but I had mistakenly been checking for the amount in another account. This oversight on my part led to the misunderstanding, and I regret any inconvenience caused by my error. I sent an apology email to the customer service.
That said, I would also like to note that the communication regarding this matter spanned from 17 July to 26 November 2024. Throughout this time, there were multiple back-and-forth exchanges as I had not received clear proof of payment. This prolonged process added to the confusion and contributed to the delay in resolving the issue.

I really like Liewood's creative and beautiful products. However, I must point out the very inadequate customer service I experienced with the company. I have a lamp that broke after less than a year of use. I don't have a receipt, as the lamp was a gift. I contacted Liewood directly to ask them to solve the problem with the lamp that the company produced. The company initially stated that they needed a receipt but that they 'would do whatever they could to help in any case.' However, the help never came, as the company refused to take responsibility for their defective product. The reason given was that the lamp was probably purchased from a retailer, and it’s their policy that applies. For me as a customer, the situation is that Liewood's defective product remains my problem.

Very bad product, I got a meal set as a gift when my baby was born. Obviously kept it until I started weaning him, I've been very careful to the cleaning instructions, after the second time in the dish washer the plastic started to peel off badly. And you put "dish washer safe" on the back? Seriously? Shame I cannot even submit a claim, as it was gifted so long ago, it wouldn't make sense, but I had to leave a review to advise DO NOT BUY THIS!

Excellent customer service! I had to return an item that got lost in transit for months and they just refunded me money to compensate me for my inconvenience.

Some of the articles I ordered from their online store were not delivered (they claimed stock was unavailable) and when I wished to return one of the items I had received, it turned out I had to send it back to their warehouse IN POLAND (!!!) at my expense using a courier. In sum, the cost of the return was so steep that it made it nonsensical to send it back. More so when I now read other comments from clients who have been waiting for their returns for months. Had I known this before, I wouldn’t have placed the order. A waste of money.

In the middle of March I returned some items from my order and am still waiting for the refund. It has been 3 months already.

I recently acquired a set of Liewood Filiz Snack Bowls (4 Pk - Cat Tuscany Rose Multi Mix), attracted by the brand's reputation for quality design and functionality. However, my initial excitement was quickly overshadowed by serious safety and quality concerns.
On the first use and after a dishwasher cycle, adhering strictly to the care instructions provided, I noticed the plastic coating on the inside of the bowls began to peel. This was not only disappointing but deeply concerning, as these products are intended for feeding babies and toddlers, which undeniably raises significant safety issues.
I have since reached out directly to Liewood with my concerns, providing evidence of the defect and requesting an investigation into whether this is an isolated issue or indicative of a wider quality control problem. The primary concern is the potential health risk posed by the peeling material, especially when used in products for young children.
While I have previously been a proponent of Liewood products for their aesthetic and practicality, this incident has necessitated a reevaluation of their safety and durability, especially in items designed for our children's use.
As of now, I am awaiting a comprehensive response from Liewood that addresses these critical safety concerns and outlines the steps being taken to ensure the integrity of their products. This experience has highlighted the importance of not only design and functionality in children's products but, most importantly, their safety and reliability.

I placed a large order in the sum close to £700.
It took over a month to receive despite a much shorter timeline indication in the website.
Shipped a few items back (only to the sum of £130) on 26 January. Waiting for my refund until now. Useless customer service.
Given the pricing of the goods, I certainly expected a better customer service.
Very disappointed and will not shop with Liewood again. Will definitely discourage other mummies from buying this brand.

In may 2023 we became the proud parents of our very first child. The family and friends were ecstatic and we received a lot of gifts.
Two of them were the Winston night light (cat and rabbit). They were lovely and we used them every night ever since. After a few days the battery wasn’t able to hold it through the night. Sad for a led light but okay we had to plug it in. After a few months the usb connection to recharge it didn’t always work.
So I contacted customer services. They said that they can’t help, but we need the receipt and we need to go through the shop where it was bought. So actually zero help at all. But okay, I left it at that because it ‘worked’ half of the time and we had 2 of them…
After 8 months the usb connection broke of one of the lights. So the led is unusable. I will try to find out who bought the gift, and hopefully we can get a warranty/refund because I never encountered a product that looks this good but is so terrible built. What a shame! But I fear that they’re going to say that it is all our fault…

I'm truly baffled by my experience with Liewood. For a company that's all about children, I expected more heart and understanding, but that's not what I got.
First off, their return policy is misleading. They say returns are free, but I was charged for shipping when I returned an item I accidentally bought. This was hidden in the small print, and it felt sneaky.
Then, one of the things I ordered never showed up. I only discovered it was out of stock when I asked them about it. They did refund me, but why wasn't I informed? It's basic customer care.
Talking about customer service, they were quick to reply, but it was all rather robotic, non-compromising, but always ending with a scripted “have a lovely day.” It felt obviously fake.
And the quality of what I bought? Underwhelming. For a brand rooted in quality and safety for children, wear and tear was rapid. After a few washes, it looked old and worn out.
To wrap it up, Liewood might look good on the outside, but my experience was anything but. They were more about rules and money than really helping out a customer. I wish I'd read reviews before purchasing, and I’d certainly think twice before buying from them again.

Very slow and disappointing customer service.
They shipped my order without the commercial invoice and it got stuck in customs, if it wasn't for me calling UPS Poland the package would still be there !

If you don't offer free returns, you should make this clear at the time of purchase, so that you are clear with the consumer. In this case, read the "returns policy" section at the very bottom of the page. I've received a pair of boots that don't fit and I want to return them. I have to pay for the return and insure the goods, which will cost me half the price. To me, that sounds like a scam. I will obviously never buy from Liewood again.

Ordered November 8, got it today (November 13), simply great service! Thats how I imagine qualitativ online shopping in 2023 👍
Very disappointing experience. I have been a loyal customer for more than 3 yrs buying either from retailers or the Liewood online shop. Their products look very cute but it’s truly a gamble as some are very very low quality..beware that their customer service is non existent to the point you feel you are dealing with a bot instead of a real human on the other end .. baby dinnerware just peels off after a couple meals use and the most worrying part is that their soft giant silicone cubes are turning into powder after some time. When I contacted their customer service and sent photos and that shocking video the moment it happens, they just got back to me saying it’s ok to let the baby consume what is emitted and that they use no harmful substances in making their products ..(!) additionally instead of offering to arrange a courier to pickup the products for examination why this happens or at least offer some sort of replacement or compensation, the representative just ask advised that I can ‘throw them away if I want, it’s up to you’… most insensible and irresponsible company I’ve ever had to deal with. For sure I will throw away the cubes that had cost more than 60€ and will never buy anything from them again. Disgraceful and insensitive considering their products are used by children.. shame

Customer service is terrible. Could say “no customer service” at all. Placed an order on the 29th of September. According to their website, the delivery should happen within 3-7 days. Despite the fact that, I sent them several emails to provide me with the tracking number, I still have no response from them. The stuff that I purchased , I needed for holidays that will never arrive on time now, let alone being expensive.
Update: They finally answered, package was not even proceeded yet. Requested refund.

Expensive brand. After just 3 times using the plate the coating is already loose. Very bad and unhealty !
If you contact them they won't help you. I can't recommend this company or brand to anyone.
