Beware….
Second time going to Leightons for wax removal. First appointment was almost 3 years with good explanation of procedure, shown camera photos followed by “free quick hearing test” as per the website. This time all I got was the wax removal completed in a few minutes and out the door with no offer of the quick free hearing.
Exactly the same happened to my husband the following week so this was not a one off.
I sent an email to Leightons and was telephoned saying I could book a free hearing test. I declined this as can get this done nearer home.
It seems you are treated differently on your second appointment with reduced customer service. £70 is a lot of money and I know it’s the going rate but ultimately a disappointing experience.

First visit to Leightons and was very impressed !
First time I’ve visited Leightons and I have to say I was impressed. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly and in particular I have to commend Elenor who did my ear wax removal and hearing test. She was extremely personable, easy to talk to and took the time to explain everything clearly and fully. I would highly recommend Leightons for anyone looking for hearing care.

Popped into the Reading branch to see if they could help with my husband's new sunglasses which were too tight. Lovely looking shop and very helpful, friendly staff. Kevin took great care and time to ensure they were adjusted to a comfortable fit. So impressed we'll be having our eyetests there in future!
