Returned to Leger After 15 Years
I recently returned to Leger Clinic after previously seeing Dr Doug Savage around 15 years ago. Given his experience and expertise in this field, I felt confident seeking his advice again.
The process was straightforward and professional throughout. Dr Savage took the time to discuss my symptoms, blood results and medical history in detail, explaining the available options clearly and without pressure.
I’m now starting treatment and have been very impressed with the service and support provided so far.

Inital Consultation With Dr. Savage
After discovering that I had low testosterone through blood tests done by my GP/NHS, I decided to go private as I wanted to receive treatment quickly and with the choice of treatments. After researching many TRT clinics, I decided to go with Leger Clinic.
The 2 blood tests confirmed that my testosterone levels were indeed low, and I arranged an initial online consultation with Dr. Savage.
Dr. Savage was on time, friendly and expertly explained the pros and cons of each type of treatment and their cost, which put me at ease as I was a tad nervous and anxious, but I decided, after weighing up my options, to go with injecting 0.16ml three times a week of testosterone cypionate which I have recently started.
I would recommend Leger Clinic, Dr. Savage and the Leger Clinic team for testosterone replacement therapy.

Luis was extremely thorough in his consultation with me. He demonstrated, as one would expect, solid knowledge of the issues being discussed, and took the time to explain my symptoms and treatment options in granular detail. He explained clearly what my treatment choices were, took the time to listen to the concerns I had about my treatment to date, and set out clearly the process for changing my treatment and what that would involve.
His patient care skills are exceptional, he cares about the patient and is clearly invested in helping the individual find the right treatment for them, which is a rarity in today's medical arena. I would recommend him to anybody seeking to better understand their health holistically, and commend him for his patient care and in-depth knowledge.

Our process is always explained upfront and follows a clear, three-step structure to safely assess treatment eligibility:
• Step 1: Initial testosterone blood test - £19
• Step 2: Confirmation blood test - £79 (+ £35 clinic visit)
• Step 3: Doctor consultation - £149
Two separate testosterone tests are clinically required before any treatment can be considered, as levels can fluctuate due to factors such as sleep, stress, or illness. The second test also includes a more comprehensive panel to identify underlying causes and establish a safe baseline before treatment begins.
We are committed to transparency and patient safety, and we are sorry if this wasn’t clear during your experience.

Leger have went downhill
Leger have went downhill after sellimg off to medichecks. Forcing patients to buy blood tests and refusing to accept NHS bloodwork when my Dr was more than happy to do it. Now we have big price increases of around 27% .
Unfortunately after starting TRT I can't just stop so I'm basically a prisoner to the service.
I am contemplating just switching to gel and buying it from a online pharmacy then I won't need to pay yearly subscription fees just to have a prescription written and a blood test checked.
If you are thinking of starting TRT please consider the rapidly rising costs you will need yo pay for life.

Our first priority is patient safety. To support this, we have introduced a new monitoring system that allows us to track changes in results over time. Unfortunately, this system is not compatible with external testing providers. As testosterone is a controlled medication, we must receive clear and verifiable blood test reports. Many external submissions were incomplete or unclear, which made accurate verification difficult.
We would also like to clarify that since the service changes introduced in February 2025, there have been no changes to our blood test pricing.
The subscription includes ongoing support from our expert team as well as other benefits, including:
• Organising and reviewing your blood tests (excludes cost of blood tests)
• Repeat prescriptions (excludes medication and postage costs)
• Answers to any questions you’ve got
• Updates to your GP when needed
• Travel letters when you need them

I have been a patient of this clinic for a few years and its gone drastically down hill since Dr Savage sold himself out to medichecks
Last year they stopped accepting GP blood tests as they wanted the money for doing them themselves, and they also decided to force patients to use a pharmacy dictated by them in order to profit even more from patients
Now on top of that they have just removed the membership discount for existing patients meaning another hike in 12 months from £23 to £28/month just for membership alone
When you add the costs of medication, blood tests, needles, hcg etc to this, you are now better off going to other uk providers that include all these things within their package price
Will be cancellig my membership this month, money grabbers!!! Avoid!!

In relation to blood testing and pharmacy arrangements, these decisions were not made simply for profit, but to help improve consistency, patient safety, prescribing governance, and the overall reliability of treatment pathways and medication supply.
Regarding membership pricing, our recent increase from £23 to £28 per month is the first adjustment in over 15 months, despite previously advising that pricing may increase sooner. We have done our best to delay this for as long as possible while continuing to provide specialist TRT care at one of the lowest membership costs in the UK.
We fully respect that patients will compare providers and choose the option that feels right for them. We’re genuinely grateful for your support over the years and are sorry to hear you’re considering leaving.

I’ve been using Leger Clinic for the last two years. Today I cancelled my subscription.
Since they were acquired they have consistently increased pricing. Latest today by a whopping 27.7% - just after a previous price rise.
£280 for a year for minimal interaction is a no for me.
Automated messages on when to order my prescription/blood tests.
Then a message twice a year to tell me my blood results.

Their finger prick tests do not report Free-T nor SHBG (unlike their competitors, whose finger-prick tests do report this)
Edit: I was of course referring to your competitors finger-prick tests which do include Free-T. I've downgraded the review to 1 star due to your use of AI tools to intentionally obfuscate the point of my review.

We appreciate your feedback and would like to clarify that our finger-prick testosterone test is intended as an initial screening test to help identify whether testosterone levels may be low and whether further investigation for TRT could be appropriate.
If the initial result indicates low testosterone, the next step is our more comprehensive TRT Confirmation test, which includes 41 biomarkers, including additional hormone markers such as SHBG and calculated free testosterone. This provides a much more detailed assessment before any treatment decisions are considered.

At 46 I thought it's time to take some…
At 46 I thought it's time to take some baseline tests for various areas of my health as you start to decline.
From start to finish the communication was on point with great support. The testing was easy and the results were quick.
Thankfully my levels were normal. There was no hard sell of other services. I'll recheck in 12 months and will use Leger next time.

Richard was friendly and knowledgeable
Richard was friendly and knowledgeable, was able to suggest multiple paths forwards to ensure that I didn't need to discontinue treatment. Was able to explain at length what I was required to do, and what the next steps were.
This is the most involved Leger has been in my treatment so far and Richard has really helped me understand the process better.
