The areas where I was lagging behind, interms of indicator improvement, I am now doing well all because of Teach to Reach.
The company is doing well to bring together different health practitioners to share and learn ideas and strategies to improve service provision.

Wow, experience, knowledge and mentorship I have gotten from my interactions with other relevant professionals have been pivotal to my career development.

What made my experience to great at The General Learning Foundation on Teach to reach 10. Is all about get new experience and methodology on given vaccine to children at rural communities. Secondly, Meeting and connecting with different health professional from different countries with great experience. Teach to reach is an avenue to learn, relearn and be expose more about immunization as health workers in the field or CSO that educate people about immunization.

What made my experience great was that I learnt to work as a team, I also learnt resiliency, I was able to stand out as a team leader in my organisation.
The organisation trained me a way of tackling with challenges and how to stand out. I was able to learn from my colleagues throughout the world. Thanks the chairman of this organisation Dr Reda and Charlotte Mbuh. I will be forever grateful to you and organisation for the exposure and experience gained.

Teach-To-Reach 10 provided a global platform where health care providers share their experiences and challenges with each other. They also share best practices to overcome problems faced
The moderators were very accommodating and respectful.They accept contributors views and make necessary corrections politely.
The contributors were mostly concise with their contributions.
I gave 5 stars 🌟 for great organisation and orderliness of the program.

What’s the most useful thing you learned at Teach to Reach? How are you using it in your work?

The most useful thing I learned at Teach to Reach was effective communication techniques for public health education. I'm using these techniques in my work by delivering clear, concise, and engaging health messages to patients and the community, which has improved understanding and compliance with health guidelines.

Can you tell us a story about how Teach to Reach helped you make things better for people’s health in your community?

After completing Teach to Reach, I organized a community health workshop focusing on preventative care and hygiene. Using the interactive and participatory methods I learned, I engaged the community in discussions and activities that highlighted the importance of regular health check-ups and proper hygiene practices. This initiative led to an increase in community health screenings and a noticeable improvement in public hygiene, reducing the incidence of common infections.

How has learning with other people in Teach to Reach changed the way you work with others?

Learning with others in Teach to Reach has significantly enhanced my collaboration skills. I've learned to value diverse perspectives and approaches, which has improved teamwork in my workplace. What’s different about how you see your job or future after Teach to Reach?

What made my experience great was the way I was supported during HPV vaccination awareness,which I took to disabled colony in FCT Abuja on 18th of September 2023. I was supported with IEC materials and attached with a personnel from DCL,this made my job easier and I was able to get a good vaccine champion whom the chief himself recommended.

At Teach to Reach, the most valuable lesson I learned was the importance of maintaining operational standards based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This foundation has been critical in ensuring consistency and quality in our health communication and social mobilization efforts. I have applied this by revising Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials such as banners, messages, and jingles to align with these standards. Additionally, I provide weekly Advocacy, Communication, and Social Mobilization (ACSM) tracking feedback to the state ACSM team and my supervisor, ensuring that our strategies remain effective and adaptive to emerging challenges.
Also, during an outbreak of misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine in my community, the skills I gained from Teach to Reach were invaluable. Utilizing the principles of effective communication and rapid response learned in the program, I was able to issue timely alerts to state supervisors and PHC coordinators. This prompt action allowed us to counteract the misinformation swiftly through a well-coordinated multimedia campaign. By integrating NPSIA and COVID-19 vaccination messages into our efforts, we successfully restored public confidence and significantly increased vaccination rates, thereby improving public health outcomes.
Learning alongside other professionals in Teach to Reach has profoundly impacted my collaboration skills. I now prioritize partnership and collaboration, ensuring effective communication and networking are maintained. For instance, I frequently work with local government and sectoral stakeholders to exchange information on vaccination campaign implementation. This collaborative approach has facilitated the development of a community mobilization strategy that is evidence-based and culturally acceptable, ensuring greater community engagement and participation in health initiatives.
After participating in Teach to Reach, I view my job with a renewed sense of purpose and a clearer vision for the future. The program has equipped me with the tools to not only implement effective health communication strategies but also to train and mentor others in these practices. This has expanded my role from being a practitioner to also being a capacity builder, which I see as vital for sustainable health improvements.
