I was listening as you were working…
I was listening as you were working with him. I appreciate the style in which you teach. Letting him tell you and giving him what I call “think time”, the opportunity to work through it, and have him explain how he came to the answer.
He was smiling when it was over and said he feels more confident now and thinks this will help.
His exam is coming up this November. When can we schedule more sessions?

The session wasn’t interactive
The session wasn’t interactive. It was basically like a public school class room setting teacher white boarding and explain vs having student do it and engaging the student to make sure they are understanding the concept and practicing the concept. This is not going to work for us

Axel is quickly becoming my favorite…
Axel is quickly becoming my favorite tutor of all time. I'm learning Spanish with him and I'm finding his gentle style is helping build my confidence in leaps and bounds by the lesson. I know I"m going to reach my language goals with him and the work outside the classroom.

Thanks for the great Math help
Sophie is getting A's so far in Algebra 2 and likes working with Miguel and says he is "good at teaching her how to do stuff". She was worried about online tutoring at first, coming from an in person group tutoring program. Thank you and we REALLY appreciate Miguel's flexibility with scheduling and changes because of Sophie's ever changing schedule and many committments.

Sebastian has a great connection with my son and it was right off the bat. So far, after the 2nd session in; he isn't "grumbling" or disappointed he has tutoring...which is HUGE. Expecting his PSAT on 10/14 will show huge improvement and his SATs 11/7 will be even better.

We have had a really good experience…
We have had a really good experience with Ritika. She has really impressed my 10 and 11 year old daughters in her approach to teaching math and writing. She spends the time necessary with them to ensure they master concepts needed and will go over when needed. She is kind and carefully attentive to their learning needs and tracks progress well. Would highly recommend her as a tutor, especially to young girls. I briefly had them switch over to an instructor for writing and the girls kept begging to have ms Ritika back- they felt she used the time wisely to help them learn and focused on what mattered during their time and was attentive to their individual needs and academics.
