Aislinn was very knowledgeable about the subjects and displayed a lot of patience with our child. She provided positive feedback and was very encouraging. She made an effort to connect with our child and to help her feel comfortable learning math.

My experience with this tutoring company has been very disappointing.
The company frequently charged my account for upcoming months before the current month’s services were completed. This billing practice was unexpected and made it difficult to manage my payments.
The tutors appear to be located in different countries and time zones, which often made communication and scheduling challenging. More concerning was the lack of customer support. Before I enrolled, I received multiple follow-up calls and emails encouraging me to sign up. However, after enrollment, it became extremely difficult to reach anyone for assistance. Responses were slow or nonexistent, and there was very little proactive communication.
When I later had an issue with billing and requested a refund, I was informed that I should have withdrawn my payment dispute. I do not recall ever being told this was a requirement. Had it been clearly communicated, I would have done so immediately. Instead, my refund was denied due to a lack of communication from the company.
Overall, my experience was marked by poor customer service, unclear communication, and frustrating billing practices. I hope the company improves its transparency and support for future customers.

I was at a point I was hitting road blocks in finding a local tutor, so I looked online and immediately found learner.com. I filled out the easy survey and I was immediately contacted. I was able to provide the information of what I was looking for in a tutor, and I was so very fortunate to be matched with an experienced and very genuine person. My daughter was at the end of her seventh grade year and starting to struggle in math and I wanted her to have more confidence. My daughter never once complained about having her sessions with Linda. She look forward to them and it was so good to see her confidence increase, and math performance at school as well. I am beyond thankful to have found such a wonderful tutor and still know that she’s out there if we need her as we head into high school. I would encourage others to reach out to learner.com.

Excellent tutoring platform — highly recommend!
We’ve used Learner.com for several months to support our daughter in Honors Algebra 2. From the very beginning, the process was smooth — quick tutor matching, easy scheduling, and flexible rescheduling when needed.
The tutor we worked with, Amanda B., is very knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping our daughter improve. Chloe went from struggling with quizzes and tests (often in the 50-60% range) to successfully retaking them and building real confidence. The one-on-one video sessions with interactive whiteboards made a big difference in her understanding of tough topics like systems of equations, matrices, and function transformations.
Even though we’re pausing sessions this summer while she transitions to College Algebra in August, we will absolutely be returning to Learner if she needs support again. The platform has been a reliable and effective resource for our family.
Thank you, Learner team, for connecting us with great tutors and making high-quality help accessible. I highly recommend Learner.com to any parent looking for personalized academic support.

I tried to find a math tutor to help my kid SAT math. I tried both oral and written methods to state my special request in terms of what kind of math tutor we need. and I paid the tuition fee for this initial trial.
Unfortunately, the advisor Matt G. didn't listen to my request, he assigned one that is not meet our requirement. I delivered my concern to the advisor and he insist his decision. After the first trial, we were not satisfied with the assigned tutor. The advisor promised to change another one. then I wrote an email again, to clarify our special request in terms of what kind of math tutor we are looking for the third time. and then, he sent the wrong tutor again! After I stated my disappointment and refuse to make another meeting with this second tutor, the Advisor ends our communication and says bye-bye.
I was kicked out.
I suspect these advisors has some kind of "behind the table deal" with those tutors, so the advisors get commission if those purposely chosen tutors are assigned to the customers. There are so many tutors waiting to find paid jobs, more chance to teach means more money to earn.
The reasons I am suspect this is that
I stated what is our requirement many times, both in oral and in written. It's just simply ignored. I don't think this is coincidence, especially by looking at the limited tutors' profile, I do see some tutors fit our special needs, that is the tutor's major should be math at their college. and they are SAT Math tutor too.
The total two times that I sent my special request all happened during weekend. The advisor told us we may need to wait 24 hours to get assigned a tutor. But there is no any waiting time, the two unqualified tutors are almost assigned immediately to us. The advisor is so actively involved in the tutor assignment, even he is taking day off (I've got out of office automated emails). I can't identify the purpose of such "hard working" attitude. The most interesting thing is that after I stated my disappointment to assign another unfit tutor to us and refuse to take, the advisor ends our communication with one word "Good luck". I was kicked out.
In sum, why the advisor kept assigning a tutor that is not meet our requirement and I've stated our requirement many times already, both in oral and in written. And there are some of the tutors meet our requirement! I can't help thinking of such "behind the table deal" really happens, only that way will make what happened lots of sense.
If what I suspect is correct, this learner sucks. Its reputation will be ruined. At least the quality of the service of this company sucks.
