The 1 star comes from the product itsel, atleast it was delivered and is as expected.

But be wary, it feels like unless you contact them your product might take months to get to you. It sometimes felt during the process they dont care about you.

I dont know what happened to this phonecase manufacturer, it used to feel premium and actually be premium. I would love to support Finnish products and services but with an experience like this its really hard.

Until they fix the customer experience I cant recommend.

The engraving on the case was left unfinished and poorly done. I contacted customer service about it, they asked for some pictures of the case. I sent them the pictures of the case but never got a response after that and they didn't reply to me at all anymore. I'm disappointed.

They were supposed to ship the case within 3-5 days. After one week I have no news and they have not reply to my request for information. I'm cancelling the order.

Ordered a phone case and a finger grip. Got the wrong image and no grip. Replacement took ages – and guess what? Still no grip! They tried again, and yes, still forgot it. Excuses ranged from “too busy” to “out of stock.” Even the refund wasn’t done right — had to chase that down, too.

If you enjoy making multiple complaints, waiting weeks for replies, and feeling utterly unimportant — Lastu.co is the place for you. Personally, I’ll spend my money somewhere that actually gives a damn.

Unfortunately, Lastu's premium-priced phone shell turned out to be cheap peace of Chinese junk that won't even last a year in use. MagSafe magnets for Android are a great idea and I would like to have MagSafe cases for my phone in the future, but unfortunately Lastu's price-quality ratio is extremely bad. Cannot recommend.

Received case in US. I like the design and how slim the case is. The quality is questionable for the price paid particularly the TPU. The "wood" on the back and the design feels nice. Though I'm not confident about how long it will last over the years. I think they are really overselling how the cases is made and where it is made.

Surprised they even make OnePlus cases when a lot of other brands don't.

Also didn't like I had to sign for the case when received.

Followup: It smells like wood but I guess I will have to take your word for it.

As for signing, the way it was shipped required me to be there to sign for the package which I found odd for a case.

As for the TPU material, I think a better high quality material could have been used instead of what you guys currently have - especially considering the price it's being sold at and to better protect the case (wood in particular) and phone when impacted.

I ordered a premium-priced reindeer leather phone cover with a MagSafe add-on and a MagSafe card wallet. The first cover I received had two issues: Both the magsafe ring and the leather were poorly glued.

Lastu fixed the issue, and after about 3 weeks from my order I got a cover with decent (but not premium) quality. This time I was quick to notice that the MagSafe card holder would not be properly held on by the magnet. Should I use it, I would eventually lose my cards.

After this observation I wanted to return the goods and receive a refund. It took several days for Lastu customer service to respond (on both Facebook messenger and email). Finally I got returning instructions and a refund.

My experience was not a good one and I would not recommend Lastu to anyone. Their quality is not nearly as high as their prices are, and their customer service is slow.

I bought case for my Samsung phone. Since I got it (6 months) I didn't have any bigger issues. I like how good brown leather card holder looks on dark hiilisaarni case (uses macsafe magnet).

The case and card holder has two minor problems. The wood element doesn't sit perfectly on one corner, and leather card holder has a small particle inside making that spot to wear faster. But these are minor things which can't be seen without deeper checking.

The magnet is really strong and the card holder stays really well. And buttons feels good (makes click sound).

Edit: one mention about delivery: it took some time, because the case was sent as a letter. But I was okay with that (Finnish product, and I live in Finland).

I got my Lastu case and its the worst I've ever had. I spent premium money thinking I ws buying a high quality item but I was badly misled. The buttons barely work. The case mkves against the phone and barely fits it. Its a nasty thin plastic that doesn't seem capable of holding the phone safely so it's basically just a scam. All their talk about eco conscious manufacturing is pure BS. Eco conscious businesses do not produce trash. Lastu just crete more waste and call it eco friendly. The lesson I learned is never buy from anywhere I've not checked outnon trustpilot.

Bought two 40 euro cases. On both cases the integrated ring holder got loose within one month and as such could not be used as a stand anymore. Today the other ring holder just came off, and thankfully I was not holding the phone only from the ring or the phone would have fell on the ground. Extremely terrible quality for the price.

Their website is also very shady, as this product in question is supposed to have 5/5 rating on average. After I submitted my 1 star review it does not show on the product page either.

The phone cases came about a week and a half after ordering. I expected a bit faster delivery... It feels really great quality!

Used to be a good brand. Nowdays same China cases as many others. Just more expensive. Lies about being hand-made in Finland. Scam.

I gave it 2 stars initially but after their dishonesty lost one more. It's a shady business, even scam. They use judge.me website for their product reviews and block reviews that are critical ie less than 3 stars. And the cases are not good quality either, they have a strong plastic smell and the magnets are too weak to hold the accessories. I don't even think they're made in Finland. Most probably made in China but packed in Finland.

I have had the case for 1 day, and the initial impressions were mixed. Its good looking case and has a good grip pattern on the sides.
However, there are these buttons I really don't like, they are almost flat and the white wooden back has few black marks. The package they get delivered is not so good as well.

My beautiful case started cracking after two weeks of careful use. I bought it for my new phone, so I treated also the case with extreme care. Customer service was no help, they basically stated that it is normal.

"...As you stated, the wood may start cracking due to moisture or temperature changes.."

In two weeks? Seriously? They also offered me a 50% discount to their store to buy more of these nondurable products - no thank you. They also don't show the "bad" reviews (bad=1-3 stars, there are 0 of them) on their website, which is rather shady. Customers are not able to post on their Facebook page, in which they claim to be the most active. I really wanted to believe in this product and the company, especially since they offer products made here in Finland, made from Finnish wood, but sadly I can't do it. At these times it's not too sustainable to sell bad quality products.

I'm so happy about my new case!!! The quality is really good and for that price really surprisingly awesome 😳😍 I ordered the custom design in walnut for my OnePlus Nord.
It turned out even better than I've expected! Even the tiniest lines are cut out well, which my design has a lot of.
First I was very worried about the shipping because of some bad reviews here and because the shipping provider did not change the status of the package for 8 days after it arrived in the sorting center in Finland.
But suddenly it arrived today! The shipping time is okay, for that's it's shipped from Finland to Germany and Lastu themselves gave the package to the shipping provider after only one day after my order - so lasering my design into the case and getting it ready to be shipped was very very fast!
All in all I can only recommend Lastu.

Couldn't be happier! I ordered Lastu for OnePlus case last week and received it already. The product is beautiful and came with a little signed note thanking for order and confirming the quality check. It's hard for a little firm to compete with international giants that can produce cheaper, but I really like the fact that it's produced with an environmentally acceptable mechanism. Would recommend to anyone!

Excellent seller, and quality item for me. Shipping is a little slow, but it was expected like so because Finland Posti isn’t so great.
