After almost 10 weeks there is still no solution in a flight issue.
KIWI takes no responsibility for its own lack of action.

Our problem: on September 28 my brother in law died from a hart attack.

Our departure date was planned on October 3rd. and KIWI had 5 working days to take action.

The only thing needed at that time was changing our flight.
Or giving an insurance policy so we could attend the funeral on October 6th.

THEY DID NOTHING.

😡KIWI writes SIX WEEKS LATER 😡 that it is up to the airline to decide over a refund.

So, after 68 days we are still waiting on a solution for a problem dating back to September 28.

AVOID.14hrs delayed flight. NO Refud because Kiwi.com did NOT transmit my refund request to the Airlines. My previous review was also deleted.

My previously written review has been removed, so I am reposting it here again.

After my first review (uploaded on October 8, 2025), Kiwi.com replied requesting the booking number for further investigation, and I immediately provided it.

And as expected,
Kiwi.com has provided ZERO response for over two weeks as of October 24, 2025.

Neither Kiwi.com nor the airline has provided any response other than copy-and-paste answers to my requests.

It is truly outrageous that this business model—which involves employing cheap, outsourced agents who offer meaningless replies designed to wear down customers until they give up—still prevails.

[My original review]

I submitted a timely refund request to Kiwi.com.

But Kiwi.com failed to transmit it to Vietravel Airlines.

Consequently, the airline has been rejecting my claim on the grounds that they had received no request from Kiwi.com.

Despite clear proof of their internal error, the Kiwi.com customer service team is engaging in deliberate stonewalling by ignoring my demand for transmission proof over eight separate attempts and sending only meaningless, copy-pasted replies.

They are completely ignoring my clear, direct question: "Send me the documentation that proves Kiwi.com successfully transmitted my refund request to the Vietravel Airlines."

This pattern of evasion is a clear attempt to exhaust the customer and avoid acknowledging their liability and gross negligence.

I have now been forced to escalate this case to the European Consumer Centre (ECC) and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

Never ever deal with Kiwi.com!

I booked a Ryanair flight through Kiwi.com and
I have got a double booking (Booking ID 649905454 and 650305205).

I have been trying to get a refund for the double booking for six weeks.

Ryanair is willing to refund the double booking, but according to their policies Kiwi.com should contact Ryanair to request a refund because the booking and payments were made through the agency. But Kiwi.com refuses to send the request.

All the results can be described briefly:
Ryanair: We are ready to refund. For this, Kiwi.com should contact us.
Kiwi.com: We cannot refund. You must contact Ryanair directly.
And so on many, many times. So the situation looks like a vicious circle.

I am from Ukraine, my daughter and little grandson are hiding in Europe from the war and need my help. This is my trip to them. You know, when you run away from daily and nightly air attacks, you hope to meet a human attitude in civilized Europe. But obviously, Kwi.com customers cannot count on such attitude. Once they get your money you simply cease to exist for them.

I understand, they methodically lead you in circles and do nothing to help you. And this is not a mistake, this is their rule: never return the money they received from you.

I have never encountered a more disrespectful attitude towards customers. So I strongly recommend avoiding this company in all possible ways.

Do not book with Kiwi

Do not book with Kiwi!
I booked flights a few days ago and when I completed the booking Kiwis systems had changed both passengers date of births - theres no way I entered them incorrectly as I check several times all data was correct. They now say it could take 48 hours to change the info (at a cost)
Its been longer than 48 hours and no word from Kiwi confirming the changes. Flying in a few days so looks like I will have to re-book flights and lose £600+ that I spent with Kiwi
My advice would be to avoid this company at all costs

I booked a ticket on Kiwi.
In order to pay again due to a change in the schedule, the reserved flight ticket was canceled less than a day later. I tried to make a reservation again after confirming the refund. However, the message that came back said that it was not fully refundable, and it was nonsense that I could only give 10% because the airline was giving me a refund as much as I received. I paid over 700,000 won, but I can't believe you're only returning 50,000 won.It couldn’t be worse.

NO REFUND FOR CANCEL FLIGHT

I've started a dispute with credit card, I BELIEVE il be leaving negative reviews everywhere to make sure everyone is aware PS check all other sites for kiwi.com negative reviews.

Please Don't Use Kiwi.com

Booked the tickets 22/10 on Sunday for my birthday trip 25/10 to Vietnam. When I needed to cancel the tickets for my health issues same day as I booked I've got a email "Your refund request has been received.
But I've got 2/11 "Refund for your booking is not possible" which was terrible that I thought I could get a refund if I canceled 48 hours in advance. Also Im still couldn't contact with them!!! Never answer!!

What a waste of a star.
Whenever see the KiWi.com just ignored!!!!!!!

DO Not use kiwi! Every excuse under the sun!!! Told me I could take 2 10kg baggage then only to be told that I could only take 1 cancelled flights with a 10 eur refund!!!

Foreign counselors can't communicate because they're not good at Korean
Feel heavy.
They keep telling me to wait three months.
How can I wait for 3 months when I paid 500,000 won?
The airline has already canceled all of course

Kiwis should be ruined.

I'm going to write a review until I get my money refunded. Kiwis must be a gang of crooks. Kiwi says it will refund $1000 to $10 worth of points. The arrangement is rubbish. It is not a normal enterprise. Everyone will never have money the moment they make a reservation at Kiwi. Be careful, everyone.

Resolved issue

We had an issue regarding our booking, but they resolved it quickly and we got our money refunded. Boranda is the customer satisfier and helped us get our compensation. Thank you so much.

Lastminute..com/Kiwi..com SCAM

Lastminute..com/Kiwi..com changed my first flight of connecting flights 2 days before I departed. The first flight changed from the 10th July 2022 to the 11th July 2022 and the second flight remained on the 10th July 2022. I could not contact the before the flight through any form of communication. I put in a refund request in July and still have had no response.

Issue resolved but Kiwi.com needs to review how they communicate with customers.

I had to book my trip in a hurry to go to see my Dad in ITU. Booked trip Friday - to leave on Sunday and return a week later. Nearly 24 hours ago an E-mail came through stating that Kiwi.com had not been able to book the trip with the carriers and offering a full refund for the cost of the entire trip, which involved 3 separate flights to the destination and 3 back, a total of 6 flights with 4 carriers. Now I'm pretty certain the first 3 flights were booked as I got out here no problem. What I wasn't sure about was how many of the 3 return flights were not booked (despite confirmation before I left that they were). Phone number on sight came up "number not recognised". Messages took ages to be answered and when they were they made no sense. I've had 36 hours of frustration. Finally got hold of someone on the phone who was able to tell me the return flights were not booked with the carriers, which enabled me to rebook flights back (through another agency) and lodge a request for refund. I did get a message back that told me I would have 3 month wait for refund and it would depend on whether carrier (airline policy). As I'd been told carriers hadn't accepted booking I was pretty sure that the money would be with Kiwi.com. This evening I finally received messages that made sense. It was acknowledged that they made a mistake, which I'd worked out as I'd got myself on one of the flights that supposedly had no seats, and that they would either keep to the offer if refund for entire trip (including the outgoing journey that I'd been on) and that refund should take up to 10 days, not 3 months. I have only claimed refund for return journey - that would not be fair. I do believe that they would have kept to that offer to refund entire journey had I requested it. The whole airline / travel agent system seems to be in disarray, but I would encourage Kiwi.com to look at how they communicate in writing (be it E-mail or messaging) because if the first E-mail had been clear I would have not got so angry with them and it would have also meant the last 2 days slightly less stressful than they were already.

I booked a flight with Kiwi and they are a scam.

I booked a flight with Kiwi and then the airline cancelled the flight. Kiwi then offered me a refund and credit to use on their site. I used the credit to book another flight however they keep saying I am not entitled to the remainder of the refund.

I would actively avoid this company.

Please NEVER book with this company

Please NEVER book with this company. They have taken over £1000 from me and it seems I have no hope of getting it back. I still have numerous issues with details of my booking but complaining becomes a Kafkaesque nightmare. Please don’t give this company any of your money.

No Refund after 2 Years

I feel it important to write a review about this company as they appear to be operating once again and offering guaranteed flight refunds when things go wrong. My husband and I have now been waiting 2 years for reimbursement for expensive British Airways flights which we booked through them prior to the start of the pandemic. We have never been reimbursed and their reasoning for delays is due to the fact that they had to recoup the money from British Airways before they could refund us. We have never received this money and therefore having then contacted BA we were told they could not pay us as it was Kiwi who were owing us. The entire situation has been dragged out and no solution has been achieved so feel that we will never get this money back or even a voucher for future travel. Extremely bad service and would certainly never consider recommending or booking through them again.

Conned out of 900 pounds

Watch out for Lastminute-Kiwi which seems to run as a duel team in order to con money out of people. I booked multiple flights with them. For which I paid 900 pounds. When I contacted them today they say they have no record of my booking. Fortunately I printed all documentary evidence on the day I booked. Worst still I can't even get a refund because, as far as they are concerned, I don't exist on their computer. Fortunately, my bank statement shows this as untrue. Do not get lynched by the freudsters Lastminute-Kiwi.com.
