Wish I read all these other reviews before ordering... Requested a return, only got customer service to reply on day 14 (the legal limit in the UK) after I threathened to get my bank involved. The only return option they're offering now is unusable, and in contradiction to what's on their website. In the meantime I'm stuck with a product I don't want with my money held hostage. Legal proceedings are under way – save yourself the headache and buy somewhere else! Lost all respect for this once reputable brand.

My blender began leaking oil from the…

My blender began leaking oil from the base. It was sent for repair but came back to me within two days with an invoice saying nothing was wrong with it. However the fault persisted and I returned it again. This time they scrapped my blender without informing me prior to doing so, even though it was under a five year warranty. They said if I sent them my account details I would receive a full refund, but after numerous phone calls and emails with my account details they have not sent me the refund. They have destroyed my property which was under warranty which I paid £275 for. They have no intention of refunding me and ignore my emails and fob me off when I manage to speak to someone. They are all liars and dishonest. Also break a warranty contract without worrying about repercussions against them. In my opinion the fact they have destroyed my blender is theft , yet I can’t seem to get anyone at kitchen aid to help me with this situation. I’m disgusted with this company and I advise anyone thinking of purchasing a kitchen aid product to think again, it will be the worst decision you ever make.

I want to let everybody and foodies out…

I want to let everybody and foodies out my experience with my now broken kitchenaid mixers. I brought my kitchenaid classic 50 years, it has for filled all the hard work I put it through, like make pastries, sausages, and bread. It never let me down until now. The for my review is to let everyone know it you are looking for a great mixer the going to last for year, I would recommend kitchenaid equipment for and kitchen. I have the blender and juice and all still preforming great. I have use other equipment like kenwood which only last 4 years. Kitchenaid has never let me down. The you to all the workers at kitchenaid job well ✔️ 👍

Unreliable & Unrepairable

Only good whilst working as soon as you have a problem Kitchenaid don’t want to know or help - over the last couple of years I thought I’d splash out and spend over £2000 on matching Kitchenaid appliances from what I thought was a top quality brand only to find out I was WRONG! Ive bought a mixer, kettle, blender, 2 toasters & coffee machine in a limited edition colour - all have developed faults when conveniently ‘just’ out of guarantee - each time I’ve contacted CS who more or less said that’s bad luck but you’ll just have to buy another - Having spent over £2000 to be told they don’t offer a repair service out of guarantee and don’t sell replacement parts I realise it’s more about appearance than functionality - so I’ve ended up with beautiful looking appliances with no function but which I’m reluctant to throw out 😢 The coffee machine was 1 month out of guarantee but they refused to help - I’ve leant my lesson and avoid the temptation to buy a beautiful but unreliable item from Kitchenaid ever again 🤷🏻‍♀️

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Item returned and 12 weeks later still waiting for a refund. Provided proof of posting, using their returns label, can track date and time item was delivered back to them but they cannot locate it in their warehouse so have not refunded. Customer service is appalling, never respond to anything. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Very Frightening Experience

Very Frightening Experience – Would Not Recommend
After watching a well-known cooking programme, I decided to purchase the mini juicer and blender from KitchenAid as it looked compact, stylish, and perfect for keeping neatly on the kitchen counter. I was genuinely excited when it arrived. I unboxed it straight away and proudly placed it in my kitchen, looking forward to using it for breakfast the next morning.
Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and quite frightening.
Today I put a few clementines in to juice them. After about 10 seconds of use, the unit suddenly began smoking and a small flame came out from the base. I was shocked and scared. I immediately switched it off at the plug socket, unplugged it, and moved it outside because I genuinely thought it was going to catch fire.
It continued to smoke heavily for at least three minutes before finally stopping. This is completely unacceptable for a brand-new appliance being used for the first time with soft fruit.
I was so excited to use this product, but instead it turned into a very worrying and unsafe experience. I would not recommend this product based on my experience.

Well, there was no option for no star... a ms i wouldn't give one...
We only had Kitchen Aid toaster for 2 years and it suddenly stopped working.

Very disappointed with the 2.1 litre…

Very disappointed with the 2.1 litre food processor. It feels like a toy compared with the 1.5 litre Kenwood KMix which it is replacing and, strangely, both the bowl and the feeder chute are smaller. The lid is lightweight and there's no safety device to prevent it being opened while the motor is running. The slicers fit in two positions on the central stem but there's no manual explaining how best to use them. I've sent it back.

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, DO NOT PURCHASE!!

I ordered the mixer directly from KitchenAid thinking this was going to mean guaranteed quality and great customer service. My mum has had her KitchenAid for almost 30 years so I had the best of opinions of this brand. However the reality of ordering from this website has been a nightmare.

The mixer came in a faulty condition with the engraved metal strip not secured properly to the mixer. I escalated this through email customer service and was told by 2 separate agents that it wasn't possible to exchange or repair, but they could only do a 100% refund or a 10% off towards next purchase.

I opted for full refund, asked the agents to proceed with issuing the return labels, and then didn't hear from anybody for 1+ weeks despite multiple chaser emails. In the meantime I took the step of purchasing a new mixer instead, from this same website.

Today I called the customer service to chase the return and was informed that I was told wrong information and any engraved mixer is not returnable. I am now escalating this issue.

This is completely unacceptable and extremely poor for such an expensive brand. Regardless of how this gets resolved I will be actively not recommending this website to others going forward.

Kitchenaid

Kitchenaid - what can I say! Product and Customer Service are both atrocious. I purchased an item from them (for my place of work), this failed twice and was replaced. When it failed a third time, we were given vouchers to use, instead of a replacement machine. Subsequently, I found a replacement that was discounted and tried to use the vouchers to pay for it. The discount disappeared on line at the checkout and we had to pay the difference (£39). Kitchenaid, emailed to advise that the refund would be processed on receipt of invoices and screeshots. All this was done and I am still trying to get the refund from them. This has been ongoing since August 2025 and Kitchenaid are now trying to renege on the refund.

I want to give zero stars

I want to give zero stars. The most appalling customer service. I returned a cake mixer on Dec 31, 2025. It wasn't good quality for the cost. I was told a week later it had been received. But the refund they sent was not the full amount. Since then i have made numerous complaints and phone calls and tried to raise an independent arbitration but I a still almost £300 out of pocket. I would suggest you do not engage with this company at all.

We bought a new kettle from Kitchen Aid this week and within *one day* the lid stopped working properly - often not opening. We had bought a similar kettle a few years ago and had to have it replaced twice as each time it stopped working within a few months. We should have learned a lesson then or read the reviews here first!

Worse company ever

I was thinking to leave a review on Google , but OMG , I don’t think @kitchenaid_uk are really interested at this, many people complaining and I wish I could see that site before I was buying my appliance .
Many costumer’s complaining how bad is this company and the agents/engineers that are working for them , Trojan is another one, this company takes the appliances from Kitchen Aid and “fix” them , I’m not sure how many time they successfully fix these appliances but mine wasn’t one of them .
@kitchenaidusa you should remove the license for Kitchen Aid UK as they don’t do a proper job, have a look their goggle reviews and check how bad they do in UK.

DON'T BUY KITCHENAID

I bought a KitchenAid espresso machine in August. I was thinking about buying their food processor and thought I'd try the coffee machine first. By October I tried to contact KitchenAid as the coffee machine had multiple issues. Even their phone number in the UK customer service manual was incorrect. After twelve emails, I has a reply.I always cc head of Whirlpool UK because they were so unprofessional. I finally dropped off the machine at the DPD drop off the 7 January to go back to them to be repaired. I had an email the next day stating that they had received the machine. Sixteen days later, I have heard nothing from them nor received my machine back. I have emailed and no reply. So, I bought a KitchenAid product in early August and used about thirty times and six months later have nothing. Don't buy anything from this company.

If i could give 0 i would.

If i could give 0 i would.
I bought a salad spinner which broke after few uses.
After 2 weeks the customer service over IG just told me they can't help me.
That's it, no further help, i wanted to remind them it is against the law to refuse giving post purchase warranty assistance

Damaged Mixer

I bought a mixer and, when it arrived, it was clearly damaged: there was a chip on the unit, the polystyrene packaging inside the box was broken up, and the plug wasn’t secured. Overall, it looked very much like a returned item that had been repacked.

KitchenAid has refused to replace it. They offered only a 10% refund, saying I didn’t report the issue within 14 days under their T&Cs. While I accept I missed that window, it was a Christmas present and I understood my consumer rights (up to 6 months) would still apply if the item was damaged or not as described.

They’re now ignoring my emails, and their obligations to me as a consumer, which is extremely frustrating and means that whatever rights you think you have when buying from them, they just ignore it and do what they want.

KitchenAid broke after 1 year

KitchenAid (over £400) broke after 1 year of using it. Bowl became jammed in the stand so KitchenAid repaired it but the woman on the phone was so rude and asked why I did not own a printer to be able to print the label off. Appliance came back and broke again within 5 months. Sent it back again and it came back with the same bowl still damaged. I phoned up customer service to ask will it not just happen again and the man on the phone was unhelpful, kept putting me on hold without telling me what was going on and I am no further into getting the issue sorted. Bad product, bad customer service and not worth your money!!

How are they still in business??

Bought an artisan mixer for Christmas on their website and it came faulty. Used it once and it's first gear/speed was doing a bad clicking and metal grinding noise. As i was within 14 days i hopped the mixer will just be replaced. Not a chance, it was a clown show. They refunded my money and washed their hands of my issue. I did not request a refund i request the product to be replaced. Now the price has changed and it cost me £80 more. They refuse to sell me the product and honour the initial price. Rubish company. I was hoping to come and do some damage with my review but little did i know kitchenaid rating is already this bad. Next tome read customer reviews before buying.

Candy Red Kettle enamel coming away

Purchased Candy Red Kettle and Toaster back in February 2025. Noticed the enamel is coming away near lid of kettle. We fill our kettle from a filter jug on the opposite side of where the damage is, so really unsure why this has happened. Also, I wipe clean only.
Rang Kitchenaid and was basically told they can't fix it and guarantee won't cover it as I could have misused it, like using harsh cleaner (who uses a cleaner that can melt enamel?). One occasion the phone was put down on me as well. They said I should get money back from Harts of Stur who I originally purchased it from. I did call them, they were very pleasant, but their guarantee only covers the first 6 months. Personally it's a product fault and Harts of Stur shouldn't be the ones refunding or replacing in my opinion.
We were considering getting the mixer, but no way I would purchase from them again. Their products are very expensive and I am surprised that after less than a year I am having problems like this and it makes me wonder how many others have had the same experience as I know this is not down to wear & tear or misuse.
