Hopeless customer service
Purchased a food processor in february 2025. Hinge is damaged and not working. Contact with Kitchen Aid customer service was one of the worst experiences ever - many dropped calls, misdirection and unsuccessful outcome.
Will never buy kitchen aid again
Faulty brand new kitchenaid- don't expect a refund…
My daughter bought me a kitchenaid mixer for a big birthday costing over £500 (a hugely generous gift as she is a student). Unfortunately she bought it direct from kitchenaid. The first time I used it the bowl got completely stuck and wouldn't budge, even after following the troubleshooting advice (although I did not hit it with a mallet despite that being recommended in the user guide...). Customer services fobbed us off repeatedly- saying we weren't entitled to a refund despite only having it a day, then they wouldn't arrange a collection, they couldn't find a record of receiving it etc Once I'd proved they had received ut, they switched to saying it would take 14 days for a refund, then 14 working days, then 21 days, then the payments team had an issue. On and on until on the 16th call I threatened them with the small claims court and really meant it. They just don't recognise consumer law and couldn't care less. Some staff tried to be helpful but still no refund. The whole experience was awful!
KitchenAid Customer Service
Same experience as many below. Sadly one of the worst customer experiences ever. Have also spent months waiting for a simple resolution from KitchenAid. Product (150 pound Cordless Blender with attachments) was returned as faulty. Countless phone calls and AI generated responses to my mails and simply no resolution. KitchenAid blame DPD for twice(!!) for losing the replacements. Have lost all hope of ever getting a refund or a replacement. Nice looking stuff, but you are on your own with KitchenAid if it goes wrong. Useless.
0 Customer service waiting nearly 2 months still no product
If I could give less stars I would.
Ordered 28th August first order lost. Replacement order missing information, who knows when ill get my item.
Customer service is non existent sent emails and numerous phone calls people say they will look into it and get back to me with an updated email, but absolutely nothing happens for a company as big as kitchen aid this is simply not acceptable and I will simply not be ordering from them again. Awful customer experience.
Poor customer service
I had longed for a kitchenaid mixer and finally got one 2 years ago with money left to me by my late grandmother. Very disappointed that my mixer has stopped working just out of guarantee with light occasional use! I cannot find a local repairer who will work with kitchenaids and I have contacted kitchenaid twice now with no response at all. I am left with a useless and expensive ornament and a lasting disappointment. I am hoping kitchenaid will get back to me but time will tell….
Terrible customer service and the…
Terrible customer service and the quality of their saucepans is shocking, the non stick surface peeled off in no time, low quality product for a high price! AVOID AVOID
Tragic Tragic Tragic
Tragic Tragic Tragic - they send my parcel with DPD and has now been over 2 weeks and still not received. Every time I ask them to get it sorted they tell me I have to ring DPD - what is the point of customer service when they make the customer do the work. £400 later and still no product.
Really really poor service
I would give 0 stars if possible
I would give 0 stars if possible. DO NOT BUY FROM KITCHENAID EVER! I brought a mixer which i used to make a handful of cupcakes. It burnt the motor out straight away! On a £500 mixer!!! Absolutely ridiculous. The customer service is none existent. I was told I have to allow them to "fix the mixer" 3 times before they would even consider a refund, although for £500 it should never need fixing at all. 3 time it has gone back and 3 times it has come back with the same or another problem. Never ever will I buy again! How this company hasn't gone bust ill never know! The last time my mixer was returned dpd left it on my doorstep on a duel carriage way. Signed as though I had signed for it, I was at work 60 miles away, by the time I returned home my mixer wasn't on the doorstep anymore it had been stolen! I've been on the phone and emails none stop for over a month now, now they have sent me a replacement?!?!?! I have continually said I just simply want my money back but its like getting blood from a stone! Absolutely disgraceful service and products. This company has made me so angry! Now im being told I may get a refund I may not and if they say yes they have no idea how long it will take! Can you believe that! Disgusting...
Do not buy from this company
Wow! Never buy from this company! I purchased x 2 artisan mixers. Both broke down within the first three months and had only been used around six times.
Absolutely zero response from emailing KitchenAid customer service. I managed to get a response from them on social media and both mixers were repaired and returned.
Upon first use, one broke down again!! Again it was returned to KitchenAid and they told me it was unrepairable and they would send me a new machine. I immediately contacted them on social media and told them I did not want a new machine as they are unreliable and not fit for purpose and I wanted my money back.
But my request was totally ignored and they still sent a new machine. Whilst the delivery guy was waiting on the doorstep I got KA on social media and was advised to refuse the delivery. I did so. The delivery guy returned the following day to try again and for the second time, KitchenAid told me to refuse the delivery.
I followed the return and could see the machine was safely back in the hands of KitchenAid in Belgium but still no refund for me. After many emails and many conversations on social media with the reps, they eventually stopped responding altogether.
So I had no mixer and they still had my money.
This had been going on for weeks and weeks, so before I took it to the small claims court, I just decided to give them a ring to see if I could actually get someone on the phone because up until now you just get cut off. I was very lucky that I got a very nice lady to speak to who organised a redelivery of the new machine after she told me they would not refund. This time I accepted the new machine and have actually given it away with the warranty because I just don't want any KA product.
I have since purchased the rival brand and it's absolutely brilliant. Kenwood Kmix. I now own 2 and have bought a 3rd for my daughter. No problems with these and they also have a 5 year warranty.
Don't waste your money on KitchenAid. They are not the same quality as they used to be years ago - the components are cheap, there is no customer support and there is no communication between departments.
Avoid KA like the plague. I wouldn't have a KA ever again even if it was free of charge. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Awful product, terrible service
Never ever buy kitchenaid, joke of a company with awful products and even worse service.
Their kettle lasted just over 2 weeks til it stopped working, it went off for repair and couldn't be fixed so I was promised a refund 4 weeks ago...it's still not with me...awful service, terrible products
Terrible product & worse customer service
This is my first and absolutely my last experience with KitchenAid company.
The mini-food processor worked a maximum of 4 times before the centre spindle started to lean and rub on the lid. There was a horrid burning smell and a lot of heat.
The processor is registered with the company and is only 4 months old so I wrote asking for help. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENED aside from an email acknowledgment. I’ve written since but still nothing.
I’ve now returned the item to the company I bought it from.
Kitchen aid don’t answer emails or show any interest in active customer services.
I will never buy any of their products again.
AVOID. Bad products, bad customer care
I’ve been a loyal KitchAid customer for years, got the full set 🙄. But my last purchase was the Artisan 400 blender. It started out okay, but their products are not what they were. First of all the jug base cracked so it leaked, then the little blade unit started leaking, finally the motor packed up. All within 4 years. No help from customer support at all, they just don’t reply. Forget the guarantee. AVOID.
Don't waste your money and energy on…
Don't waste your money and energy on this company! I have ordered a blender over 3 weeks ago now and still don't have it! Needed to redirect it to collection point, as I was not going to be in for couple of days. Since then, no update on tracking. First complaint was nearly a week after the order and that's when tracking started being updated, but only with 'scanned at the depot'. In between I tried contacting both DPD & KTN, but to no avail. At KTN I was told they need to finish their investigation with DPD - like WTF?! This is your internal investigation, I want my appliance, that I paid for delivered ASAP. Any other decent company sends out replacement without the customer waiting for the outcome of investigation with the carrier! I have finally receive email stating they have processed the replacement, but it has been 3 days, and I still do not have any confirmation this has been shipped, nor received any tracking number... Furthermore, none of the advisors I have spoken to sounded like they care even an inch... Ridiculous is an understatement.
Make sure you register your product
My three year old expensive toaster, (£199), which had a five year guarantee, stopped toasting last year and I have been in correspondence with KitchenAid customer service ever since but as I failed to register it or kept the original receipt they will not repair or replace it.
Although I have provided reasonable proof of when I bought it they will not budge and have ignored subsequent correspondence. They will not even sell replacement parts for it.
I then requested contact details of the company’s CEO in order that I could write directly to him to let him know what I thought about KitchenAid but I was told it was their policy not to give this information.
Customer Care is non-existent
I returned my kettle on 1/7/25 as it was still under warranty. They were unable to fix it so sent me a voucher code online. The voucher doesn’t work. I still have not got a replacement kettle. I have been fobbed off on the phone, via Messenger and I have had a couple of replies to emails weeks apart that also fob me off. I now can’t get them on the phone either! Where do I go now? The customer care is non-existent ! They just keep telling me that they are experiencing technical difficulties with their website?
Bought kettle
Bought kettle. Their warranty registration through their website does not work including through their QR scan.Only found their poor reviews after this otherwise l would not have bought from them. What a shame for a company that portrays itself as selling up market products
Poor aftersales
Husband bought a mixer. It is damaged and was packed like a return. Asked to return. They eventually sent a label. Then told that label is to send it for repair. We wanted an exchange. Now we want a refund but they don't answer emails. Regretting dealing with them and will probably have to get the credit card involved. Not standing for it.
Zero stars from me..here's my experience
Zero stars from me... please read
Same as many others. I'm a pro barista, bought the semi auto espresso machine for home, lasted three months then multiple faults, over heat, protection mode, wouldn't register water added to the tank (and only used at a weekend for the odd espresso!) the store I purchased from (Dawson's/e-cookshop) equally bad when it came to finding a resolution.
They said send to kitchen aid for repair which I did.
So in a nutshell
Weeks past and nothing. Contacted numerous times to chase - the cs answer the phone saying 'helloooo???) which is very odd, and gave a different story each time and couldn't find a common way to resolve the issue.
Called twice a week in the end...
Told to go the the store I bought from
They said no, go to kitchen aid
So I said, I'll go to a solicitor instead as you have my machine, my money, and no update (this is after three months)
Finally an email saying item faulty, can't be repaired, replaced, or refunded!
So I called (agaiiiin)
Asked if I wanted the vouchers or a refund - refund please I said, as it was only three months old and supposed to have three year guarantee (obviously now throw away products rather than the once a lifetime purchase they used to be...only still charging the same and trading on old reputation)
The send vouchers!!
So contacted yet again to say, I don't want them, and that you actually asked if I wanted a refund, they don't sell anything I need, and have lost faith in the products and legally I can request a refund
Nothing happened again
So, in the end I called the store again, and called kitchen aid every day for a week, and took legal advice to get a charge back and seek compensation
Months later I got a refund...
I believe I hounded them into giving a refund and would not have received one if I hadn't had constantly persevered and had the resilience to fight them
The entire experience took up months of time and such frustration. I had to leave messages on social accounts and pull every string to get my hard earned money back
If you're after good espresso, go gaggia, excellent customer service it seems, read the reviews first on here.
Blender stopped after 9 days, terrible customer support.
I bought a blender and it stopped working within 2 weeks of use. Just wouldn't turn on. That's fine, shit happens, but the customer service contact details are garbage! I called multiple times and the phone just dropped before anyone answered. I emailed multiple times from multiple email addresses and only got a response on one of them after 9 days. I was told to return it for repair - and was then immediately told it couldn't be repaired and they would send a new one in 14 days. I am worried it wont arrive in 14 days after reading some of the other reviews though!
Their after sales dept is useless, no reply to emails
I have contacted Kitchenaid several times regarding my stand mixer. It’s 5 years old but had only been used a handful of times when it failed to start. I contacted kitchenaid via their email contact form and despite emailing now about 4 times I have never received a reply from them. They state all their mixers are designed to last for years and to be able to be repaired, yet despite sending my mixer to two different repairers neither of them can locate a replacement motor for my mixer as it seems the motor is now obsolete! So in essence my husband paid nearly £500 for a mixer that I have used at most a dozen times!
