Avoid! Underwriters lie!
I am sat writing this as a person who is broken to the core following the buying/mortgage process. Kensington mortgages lie to you. I am a multiple business owner who has been discriminated against. I take a 50k salary via paye and my husband is in employment on 45k. If I was in employment we would fly through a mortgage. After jumping through so many hoops doing everything asked and providing everything asked answering back and forth questions on Friday I was told one last thing get another 10k off my dad as a gift and my offer would come today. It was my daughters birthday Friday and completely ruined due to this but I did as the underwriter asked and believed the promise. Today I am told application declined due to one of my company's not being profitable in the accounts and I have to pull out on a chain that has been in process for 3 months. How can you lie so blatantly? Build up peoples hopes! Put them and others through so much! I am going to the press and will share my experience that people would not believe its that wild! I will also be following the ombudsman report process as clearly your underwriters are not fit in their roles when they tell blatant lies.

at the end i got what i wanted but they brought up to many unnecessary things bills that was made to be paid in installment the made me pay it 10 month in advance cleared bills i of 4 years i had to ask why and when and status when it was clearly stated cleared on my report there was many more.

I hadn't heard of Kensington Mortgages…
I hadn't heard of Kensington Mortgages before my mortgage broker recommended them, but I'm so glad they did.
The mortgage they offered matched exactly what I was looking for, with a competitive fixed rate over a 10-year term. My broker handled the application, and it was accepted in no time.
From there, the process through to exchange and completion was straightforward and largely paperless, with most documents signed digitally. Their solicitors were efficient, professional, and completed everything in around four weeks.
I have no complaints, only gratitude. Kensington Mortgages made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth, straightforward, and hassle-free from start to finish. I would happily recommend them.
