This is my personal experience.

This is my personal experience.

I had an upper eyelid blepharoplasty at KCM Clinic with Dr. Aleksandra Łuniewska. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the result.

I had agreed in advance on the surgery with a specific doctor, and the clinic confirmed all the details, including the surgeon, the scope of the procedure, and the date. However, when I arrived from another country, I was informed that a different doctor would perform the surgery. This was an unpleasant surprise, as my decision to travel and undergo the procedure was based specifically on that particular specialist.

The pre-operative consultation lasted about 10 minutes. After the surgery, I was sent back to my hotel within just a few hours, while the wounds were still bleeding that evening and the following day.

The most important issue is the result after one year. The scars appear asymmetrical and are not placed in the natural eyelid crease. As a result, my eyes look different. The scars are quite noticeable.

It was very difficult to contact the doctor after the procedure — communication was mainly through assistants, without what I would consider sufficient follow-up consultation.

In my personal opinion, the level of organization, patient communication, as well as the approaches, technologies, and equipment used at KCM Clinic did not meet my expectations for modern medical care.

At the same time, I would like to highlight Kristina, who was very professional, attentive, and friendly. I would also like to note the nurses and support staff, who were polite, caring, and supportive.

I am now looking for another surgeon to correct the results.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My experience with them has been nothing but lies stemming from the top , where I had a personal call with what was supposed to be a Spinal Operation Coordinator but was actually just a director of the company canvassing for business. He persuaded me to have a certain type of operation dismissing the thoughts of the NHS in the UK. He sounded very convincing highlight I had the choice of two operations, however on my landing at the clinic, I had no choice, whether because of cost cutting or just lack of skill set.

They had me hanging around in lonely corridors for hours and hours just awaiting tests, no organisation there, many people from around the globe in the same state, no empathy, no process, just chaos.

I then had my operation cancelled until the following day after the tests.

I had no food after the operation because the canteen staff were not aware I was in the hospital.i had to send out for a KFC via an UBEREATS with my night nurse whom had very limited English , which proved problematic, just to get something more than a single pot of yoghurt.

I was then literally kicked out of the hospital just 12 hours after the operation because I was the only one in the hospital and they shut on Saturdays, I had only walked 4 steps to the toilet in my room before that. I was asked to also get the pin killers from the local chemists by myself. It was just bizarre.

The operation of a DIAM ( spinal stabilisation ) of the recommended PLIF ( posterior lumbar interbody fusion ) proved to be a total failure after an encouraging 2 months, where I have significantly spiralled down hill since.

In liaison with my coordinators they have just gone silent. I was asked to put a letter of complaint in, I did this on 26/10/25, I have chased this up fortnightly since where they have refused to reply. They initially highlighted that people were looking at it including Patient Relations, Customer Service Directors, however nothing back at all. My initial coordinator has asked me to return to Poland following the failed procedure but if I do I am expected to fund the flights, hotels, scans and further surgery myself, not as any normal business if being caring to right and wrongs. I have waited on pre planned calls over. 20 times just to find no one is on the other end. I have endeavoured to set up meeting, reviews, updates on my complaint and just nothing back. It is now February and still nothing, and they are now on ration silent.

The whole place and people are just unprofessional, it’s total chaos behind the scenes, no concerns for the patients and I hope no one has to go through ( as many other international patients whom I met in corridors ) what I personally have both pre and post operation.

PLEASE PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM KCM CLINIC JELANIA GORA - They should be struck off the any medical associations.

Knee replacement

Karina and Widyane were both fantastic, and really cared about making things as smooth as possible. Thank you, ladies!
The nurses were attentive, and I cannot fault them. The physio was very good, and ensured that I got up and walked very quickly.
So far so good with the knee, 10 days after the op. Back in UK now and slowly improving.
The hotel where I was sent to post-operatively ( the Mercure) was excellent for a three-star. Very comfortable rooms, helpful staff and very good restaurant.

My one criticism is the fact that the hospital does not supply ice as a matter of course, post-op. This would have reduced swelling and pain considerably, and it is surprising that this is not available.

Dear Madam,
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
We are pleased to hear that you positively assessed the professionalism of the doctors during your treatment. Weight loss after bariatric surgery, including gastric sleeve procedures, may vary from patient to patient and depends on many factors such as diet, physical activity, lifestyle habits, and adherence to post-operative recommendations.
The first months after surgery are often a period of the most noticeable weight reduction, while later progress can be more gradual and individual. Regular follow-up and maintaining the recommended nutritional and lifestyle guidelines are important elements supporting further results.

Tummy Tuck January 2026

I had my Tummy tuck & Liposuction in January 2026 here at KCM and overall my experience has been really, really good from start to finish. There was lots of communication beforehand which helped me feel prepared and reassured going into surgery.

Karina was absolutely outstanding at the hospital, she was everywhere, constantly checking in and helping with anything I needed. The nurses didn’t speak much English, but they were brilliant at using Google Translate, or they would quickly get Karina, who was like a rocket around the hospital!

Dr. Kierzynka was a true perfectionist and honestly exceeded my expectations. He didn't rush the procedure. The results already look so much better than I ever thought possible, and I felt completely safe throughout. The amount of pre-op testing was very thorough, which gave me a lot of confidence in the care I was receiving.

I stayed in the hospital for two nights and felt well looked after the entire time. The only downside for me personally was that Polish food isn’t really for me.

Since coming home in the UK, aftercare has been a little more difficult because I can’t see the team in person, but communication has still been great through photos, advice, and recommendations.

Kim has been an absolute lifesaver, I genuinely feel like she’s been a little best friend throughout this whole experience, always there when I needed reassurance or support.

I’m now one month into recovery and everything is going exactly as it should. I’m so grateful for the care, support, and results so far, and I would definitely recommend them.

Had a tummy tuck with Lipo

Had a tummy tuck with Lipo. This was my 2nd surgery done at this clinic. This experience was not as good as my first. The nurses do not speak much English as stated on the website and hard to communicate. Had to use a translator app to advise on my aftercare which was not a lot of information given. Had to goggle search most of aftercare. Was given a little information on the email from Kim on aftercare but doesn’t tell you much.

The surgeon was ill on the Monday and Tuesday when arrived so my surgery might not of taken place as my sisters surgery had to cancelled due to this on the Tuesday after being but in a gown and told she was going for surgery around 2:30pm and being told at 7pm that the surgeon was ill and could no longer perform anymore surgeries that day. He said he was ok on my sisters consultation and said he didn’t have COVID as been tested. I was very nervous knowing this surgeon was ill the previous day and said my surgery would go ahead. All went well but only saw the surgeon on the day of surgery and never again after to ensure everything looked good before travelling back home. I have had to buy a compression suit after the nurse told me to get one from Amazon. I am hoping that what I brought is correct.

Didn’t receive a meal after my surgery or breakfast on the day I was being discharged. No choice of food mainly salad for breakfast and dinner.

There is a lot of waiting round for tests etc and felt like nothing was booked in even though you book in advance for surgery. For a private clinic it is very hectic. The tests required are great to have and makes you feel at ease but having to go offsite for a scan is daunting and feel could of been done of site and included in the cost and shouldn’t be charged separately.

The cost stated I would get a compression garment which was a corset which was not comfortable to stay in more then the time I was there. This hospital is not the same as my last stay and would not go back for any other surgical procedure. I recommend KCM to many of my friends I including my sister which she has lost money for her surgery due to them giving her tests knowing the surgeon was ill before hand. I do regret this now.

The Zeppelin apartments recommend is handy as a cross the road from the clinic but very noisy. Party’s and very thin walls and can hear everything in the room next door. Again hard to communicate with staff to ask for extra pillows etc. lots of stairs to go to basement for breakfast. Lift is very small and can just about fit 2 people in. Apartment was not clean found rubbish in draws and never cleaned for the week stay.

When told KCM there was a party in the room next to us on our first night they just laughed was not the response I was wanting.

I am now 6 weeks post op and not heard anything From KCM about my recovery. I have sent messages to see if I am ok now to stop wearing my compression garment and if everything looks ok but no response.

The reply back to my review says the garment has to be tight but I never mentioned this. My comment was the garment given was a corset wrap which the nurse told me to purchase a garment of Amazon as this one uncomfortable. I the cost of surgery said it included a compression garment but what they provide you could not wear for 6 weeks. I would liked to of been given the option to purchase the correct garment from them so I knew I was wearing the correct compression suit. Instead I have had to search and find my own compression garment which I purchased from Macom. Aftercare isn’t good no communication since returning home. Once they have your money they don’t want to know

Dear Madam,
Thank you for sharing your feedback and for choosing our clinic again for your treatment.
We are pleased to hear that the surgical procedure itself went well. Pre-operative tests and consultations are scheduled individually for each patient to ensure the highest standards of medical safety.
Patients receive discharge documentation with post-operative recommendations after surgery. Compression garments used after plastic surgery procedures are designed to be tight-fitting, as this is necessary to support proper healing and tissue stabilization.
We appreciate your feedback as it helps us continuously review and improve our services.

NO PATIENT SHOULD GO THROUGH THIS

I underwent surgery at KCM Clinic with Dr. Grzegorz Kierzynka and it has resulted in PERMENANT PAIN, a FAILED outcome, and complete ABANDONMENT of care.

The doctor has admitted in writing and on video that:
– the surgery “did not achieve its intended purpose”,
– there is “no change” in the ear after the procedure,
– the pain I am suffering is likely caused by a non-absorbable suture placed during surgery,
– and that I now require another corrective surgery to remove it.

Despite this, both the clinic and the doctor have repeatedly IGNORED messages, emails, and requests for postoperative care.

The surgeon also confirmed that KCM BLOCKED his communication and withheld my medical complaints from him for weeks.

The clinic has made several contradictory statements, attempted to shift responsibility, and refused to acknowledge the harm caused. My pain is ongoing and severe when sleeping, touching the area, showering, or wearing glasses.

This experience has caused permanent physical pain, scarring, emotional distress, financial losses, and the need for further medical treatment.

I would strongly advise any patient to avoid this clinic and this surgeon.

total hip replacement

Contacted prior to travelling by an extremely helpful lady called Widyane. She remained my main contact - along with Katrina - throughtout my stay. They sorted out all those little concerns that are inevitable with having an unknown procedure abroad, and ensured a smooth service.

Had very comprehensive pre op checks and xrays. The only down side for me was a lot of waiting around which, as a private patient, I did not expect. Told Widayne and Katrina.

The surgeon - Mr Maczynski - spent time to explain and answer my questions. He even held my hand whilst I had the anaesthetic! Saw him post op and for discharge.

Post op care was excellent. Friendly and attentive staff ensured that I had reglar analgesia to remain comfortable. Also lots of cups of tea, but no meal choices. Physio was very encouraging - visited twice a day. Loads of exercises.... which I have followed and this has paid off as mobility and pain have both improved.

Pre and post discharge to Zepellin hotel - fab rooms, but loads of steps. Just as well I was with my sister as could not manage steps to basement to breakfast room, so she brought bits and pieces to me.

When we left Widyane and Katrian made a point of coming to say goodbye. Thank you for everything Ladies.

Taxi to and from clinic for airport was very comfortable except one large step to get in.
Assistance at both airports needs to be booked in advance and neither theratravel nor clinic seem to be able to sort this out - must be done by passenger apparantly, and only 4 or 5 days before travelling which is not ideal! Felt we were abandoned at Wroclaw airport - my sister had to find the help desk to get a wheelchair for me as Driver would not leave taxi.

I would highly recommend KCM for orthopaedic treatment.

From beginning to end of my stay in Poland I felt looked after. The whole trip was well organised. The medical care was excellent. The language barrier did not exist...everyone tried their best to communicate. Widyane was a little gem guiding me through the whole process
No waiting lists and manageable cost compared to UK. Now I can get my life back...pain free. Thank you.

Very poor reporting on diagnostic tests

Having read some excellent reviews about the clinic, I decided to book an appointment to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy after suffering chronic stomach pain for 3 months and getting nowhere on the NHS.
The admin team were efficient in answering all my questions prior to my arrival, including my main query, which was how the results would be communicated to my GP. I was assured that these would be written in English.

I had been told to arrive at the clinic at 8am for a 9am procedure, which I duly did. I was greeted by Karelian, who spoke perfect English and was very helpful and kind. However, after a cannula was inserted by a nurse at about 8:30, I was then left to wait in a busy corridor until 10.30am when the doctor finally arrived.

The doctor told me that the report would be written in Polish. I was immediately shocked as this was not what I had been told. However, Karoina reassured me that she would translate the doctor’s report.

After my procedures, I was left to sleep off the anaesthetic. When I woke up, the report was delivered by Karolina. One of the findings was that I had a submucosal tumour. I was very upset by this news and asked when the doctor who had performed the endoscopy would be coming to explain the findings in more detail. I was told that I hadn’t booked a follow on consultation so this was hard to arrange. As I was becoming quite agitated by this point, I was told that the head of the clinic would see me.

Eventually, at about 4pm, I was given a meeting. In very faltering English, I was told that I had a polyps rather than a tumour, two ulcers and a possible hiatus hernia. None of these terms were on the translated report. No apology was given for the very poor translation. When I asked for more explanation, I was asked whether I would like an MRI scan to give more detail. Given that the reports I had received from the endoscopy and colonoscopy were so poor, I declined.

No doubt people have had very positive experiences at the clinic, but I would warn people that for diagnostic purposes, the trip to this clinic would be a waste of time and money. Perhaps, had I been offered a biopsy on the polyps, this would have been more conclusive.

My impression was that this is a very busy clinic, with lots of people being left to languish in corridors with little contact with the doctors.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns you've raised.

Regarding the delay in your procedure, the doctor was unfortunately delayed due to being stuck in traffic, as you were the first patient scheduled for 9:00 this caused a delay in your treatment. We do understand that this was inconvenient, but unfortunately, this was beyond our control.

Regarding the colonoscopy, it is important to mention that the procedure was complicated by the fact that your preparation was not as thorough as expected, despite the instructions provided. Proper preparation is critical for the success of the procedure, and this resulted in the procedure taking longer than usual, causing further delay. Our doctor did their best to get as much clarity as possible, despite the challenges caused by the poor preparation.

As for the translation of your medical report, we do not provide translation services as part of the medical service package. All medical reports are written in Polish, and the translation was a courtesy gesture that I offered to assist with. You say no apology was given however prior to giving you the results, I did explain that some of the translations might not be perfect and that clarification from a doctor would be necessary. I also made sure to offer you a free follow-up consultation with our specialist to address the questions or concerns you raised about the results you received. However, it’s important to note that the procedure and consultation are two separate, payable services. Unfortunately, we cannot provide additional consultations without them being booked and paid for in advance, although again I went out of my way and arranged this for you. The doctor offered you a more in depth diagnostics such as MRI since nothing in the gastroscopy or the incomplete colonoscopy report gave conclusive answers as to your chronic abdominal pain.

Regarding the timing of the consultation, I would like to point out you were hospitalised in a quiet individual room for nearly six hours after your procedure, which we arranged as an additional service to ensure you had ample time to recover from the sedation. Typically, patients only require about 1/2 hours included in medical package, but we were happy to accommodate you for the additional time at no extra charge.

We understand your frustration, and it’s important to note that we do offer our patients the best care we can within the constraints of our services. While there were areas where we could have done better, we hope that the care you received was generally positive.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope that your health concerns are properly addressed moving forward.

I had surgery in another contrived before but never saw someone so good with patients before . I also would like to thank Olivia the nurse , she is Amanzing , she connects with patients and make sure we have the best care after the surgery, I really hope one day she will be the responsible nurse from all the floor , because we need more nurses that cares about the patience and also connects with him , she is the only one on that floor that makes this happen , she brought me cake when I was starving waiting for lunch time , this made my day , is not because the cake is because the care .

I will definitely come back to am have another surgery because of them

I would not use again.

Pros: Nice facility. The doctor seemed professional and competent. The results were clear.

Cons... Oh boy.
1. I didn't receive pre-procedure instructions until less than 48 hours before I was supposed to check in. This occurred despite me emailing them four times that week asking for instructions.
2. I arrived at 11AM and was shown into a hospital room. I was then ignored for several hours. I emailed the English speaking contact I had at the front desk who rushed upstairs and told me she would find out was happening. A Polish nurse came in and gave me (more) paperwork to do. I was then ignored for several more hours.
3. I received an explanation after five hours of waiting that there was a problem with the anesthesiologist and there were still several patients in front of me. At this point I had not eaten in 26 hours.
4. Finally, at almost 4:30PM I was taken to the exam room. I spoke with the anesthesiologist who confirmed what we were doing, that I would have general anesthesia, and we would start in 15 minutes. I never saw the anesthesiologist again.
5. After 15 minutes the doctor performing the procedure told me that we don't have an anesthesiologist available, and he didn't know when they would be. He gave me two choices: We do the procedure now with the minimal sedatives he could administer himself (which meant I would feel discomfort during the procedure) or we reschedule for tomorrow. I chose to do the procedure right then because I couldn't imagine not eating for another 14 hours and didn't want to cancel my travel tickets and pay for another night in a hotel.
The doctor was the only person the entire day whom I thought was being honest and direct with me.
6. After the procedure I was left alone in my original room for a little while until a nurse came in and delivered the (good) results. I waited a bit longer and no one else came to check on me. I ate a bag of nuts I had in my backpack, put on my clothes, and left to rush to the train station so I could make my way home.

I don't know what happened but every step of the way with KCM there were problems. I should have received instructions much sooner, I should not have been ignored for hours, I should have been communicated with. Also- if they had been honest with me about the problem, I would have chosen to do the procedure without the anesthesiologist at 1PM instead of waiting until late in the afternoon with a pounding headache from hunger.

Frankly... I also paid for an anesthesiologist and general anesthesia, and they did not deliver on that. I am a business owner myself and if cannot deliver a service that my customer has paid for, I will find a way to make that right. I will not just ignore them and hope they leave without making a fuss.

I’m adding this note after reading their response. They have said something regarding my lack of anesthesia as "you paid for what you got" and "this was explained to you multiple times."

That is a lie and I will not let it stand.

The anesthesiologist literally told me I would be receiving general anesthesia and then disappeared and I never saw her again. The doctor apologized to me and said anesthesia would not be available that day and he didn't even know why.

I did not receive what I paid for. No explanation was ever offered and I will not stand for that to be lied about in their response.

Dear Sir. Unfortunately you are mistaken. Each of our patients is informed upfront of any changes to consultation times or dates. You, I suspect, have also received such information either by telephone or via email. Very often these misunderstandings are due to a lack of updating of the telephone number on the part of the patient. I hope that next time nothing will stand in your way and you will be able to see the doctor.

From the moment I inquired, I felt well taken care of by Kim. She was incredibly supportive, addressing all my questions and reassuring me during my moments of doubt about proceeding with the procedure.

At the hospital, Dr. Kierzynka conducted a thorough consultation, which boosted my confidence in my decision. Karina, the coordinator, was excellent in keeping me informed about everything happening throughout the process and was just an absolute legend.

Nurse Anne was fantastic, providing tremendous support with my aftercare and dressing changes.

Overall, my experience at KCM was wonderful. My expectations were exceeded, and my new breasts look fabulous, even before they are fully healed.

I would wholeheartedly recommend KCM to anyone. The level and quality of care I received far surpassed what I would have experienced in the UK, and I would definitely return if I ever need any other cosmetic treatments in the future.
