I've ordered a backdrop before from this company but from Amazon. Sadly this time they didn't had that one that I liked in there so I ordered from their website (08.07). I was a little bit worried after I've seen reviews here on trustpilot. I needed that background for THIS saturday (15.07) and it turned out that they really gonna send it from China. So I contacted them through email and I was assured that they gonna send it to me the fastest way possible. They send it this monday (10.07) and it arrived TODAY (13.07).
So do they really sending it from China? Yes. But if you need background fast they will try to help you.
Quality? I used those background before so I'm very happy with them but steam iron is essential here.

Really happy with the quality of the Christmas backdrop I ordered, nice thick material with vivid printing.
Also I had a job booked within a couple of weeks once I told Kate Backdrops that I was worried about this timeframe they made sure it was delivered in good time despite strikes. Thank you

I found this company very helpful, the backdrop quality is very good ive had no problems at all, creases come out easily, they also have their own photographer designers now so that is even better, i have no problem ordering more even though its a chinese firm & delivery is about just over a week to UK, Also there are plenty to choose from the website & they actually look like the image you have chosen when printed..

Awful, don’t bother. The quality is so poor and thin you can see the backdrop stand behind it. Plus the creases don’t come out when you steam it. Customer services told me to remove all items behind it so they didn’t show through!!! Seriously?!!! The whole point of a backdrop is so you don’t see the items in the background and how do I remove the stand which you can clearly see through it???!!! So disappointed and it took so long to arrive. You’ll be waiting at least two weeks if not longer. Apparently they are made to order - of course they are!!!!!??? Just don’t wait your time and money.

This company is not based in the UK. I wish I had read reviews before I purchased. I needed this item urgently and still have not received it after 2 weeks. You are not made aware of the dispatch or delivery timeline. Very misleading. I genuinely thought I was dealing with a UK-based company. Never again!

I've ordered a backdrop from them several months ago, it was shipped from China which was confusing as I thought they are operating with a UK stock (UK website, 3-5 days delivery time, sterling as currency etc). Last week I ordered 2 more backdrops and again, it's shipped from China. It's disappointing! They deserve the 3 star as the quality of their backdrops are solid but in my view this is shady business and if they have a UK stock, it should be clearly indicated when you purchase the product. I'd have spent my £250 somewhere else supporting a local company with UK stock have I known this is coming from China.

Company seems as if it's UK based but they're just a Chinese factory with a co.uk handle .
They ask you to provide your shoot date to ensure fast delivery but then message to ask you to POSTPONE your shoot to wait for their item to travel the world.
They claim to have a European warehouse but I don't think it exists as I asked for alternatives that were in stock there & they ignored me three times.
Since they messed up my photoshoot I looked for alternatives and found the same designs on ebay for under £10.
The size is smaller than I wanted but amazing print quality, go there and save yourself the money and stress.
They're deceitful and scammy

I have just received a Christmas backdrop to make my summerhouse into Santa's Grotto. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt I had to considering the bad reviews on here. I am absolutely delighted with mine, it looks exactly like the picture online and really good quality and such great value for the price. I really cannot fault it at all and I am very excited to start making the grotto. With everything which has happened this year, there are no trips for the grandchildren to see Santa, so we are doing ours from home. This backdrop will make it so much more authentic. Avoid this company!! The product took ages to arrive and when it did it had a big brown mark on it. When I contacted them for a refund they offered me a discount on my next purchase!!! Read there returns policy carefully before buying. If they send you a damaged product you have to pay to return it and all you will get is a credit. Products are made in China. Do not support this company.

I ordered two backdrops - one of them looked almost like that of the image on the website which I was ok with. The other was meant to be a textured backdrop with different colours, light areas and dark areas - I received a solid colour grey backdrop, no texture, no gradients etc. I spoke to the customer service team who said "The image render on the site won't always match what we send out to you" and I can pay £16 to send it back to them. No refund. No apology. Why should I have to pay to fix your mistake? Will avoid going forward.

It's not a British company, despite the ".co.uk". In fact, the products are made and shipped from China, so for the prices you pay, the products are expensive as they are made for pennies in China.

Having said that, the backdrop that I bought is of very good quality and very convinving. The fabric is of good quality.
