Scam Artists at the highest level

I thought I had found a legit online retailer. Good prices on a holiday promo, site was “easy” to navigate, shipping wasn’t free but felt fair. Lesson learned - lipstick on a pig! Bought a carbon fiber trunk for my BMW. The promotional discount made the price too good to pass up. A carbon trunk was in my build list. I didn’t install it immediately. Was buying additional parts before a trip to the body shop. This product is absolute TRASH! Fitment is HORRIBLE! It’s a carbon creations trunk for an e92 BMW. Install was attempted by a reputable body shop who I’ve taken my cars to for years. There were ZERO disclosures on the product - only that it was an “OEM” fit. I reach out to K2 asking for insight and suggested a refund. 8 days later I was told no because it was purchased more than 30 days ago. I bubbled it up to management which took me 3 weeks to hear back. Then they told me the same thing - but additionally - because the trunk had been “modified” they could not return it. Nothing on this trunk was predrilled. In order to install it and fit check it - you have to drill holes into it…for the hinges and the latch. Additionally, license plate lights are not pre-cut, trunk liner is not predrilled, and you cannot mount the inside rear tail lights - as the holes for them are cut WAY to big. K2 refused to entertain a refund. They didn’t disclose their 30 day policy, and they are happy to sell a product that has poor craftsmenship and simply doesn’t fit. This is a company that is excited to sell you crappy low budget products and then make it impossible to return them or get refunded.

Why was NONE of this disclosed when the item was purchased? Not the 30 days and certainly not the requirements needed for install or fitment.

Your support line goes unanswered when I call. Your emails take 2-3 weeks for a response.

You say you have had these sold in mass volume with good customer experiences….is that defined by people not asking for a refund? There certainly aren’t loads of positive reviews on this product - so how would you actually know?

Let me reiterate - the install was done by one of the best known body shops in the state…and they couldn’t get it to line up. That says a lot about the product…

By the way - know where do you disclose is this truck of for an LCI car or pre LCI car…turns out the LCI tail lights fit much better—even though there isn’t a way to actually mount them without fabrication…

A bit of context for you and anyone else reading. Aftermarket carbon fiber trunks, including the Carbon Creations piece you bought, are sold as OEM-style replacements and ship unfinished by design. Drilling for the hinges, latches, license plate lights, and trunk liner is standard prep work across every brand in this category. It's part of a professional install, not a manufacturing defect. We sell this exact trunk in real volume and the feedback we hear consistently doesn't line up with the craftsmanship concerns you raised.

Our 30-day return window is published on every product page, in our return policy, and at checkout. Once a product has been drilled and trial-fit, return eligibility is limited by what the manufacturer will take back. That's an industry constraint, not a decision we made on the fly. If we'd heard about the fit in those first 30 days, we'd have had real options to help.

Terrible experience with buying a…

Terrible experience with buying a carbon fiber hood and trunk for my bmw, from terrible fitment to communication they’ll have one person tell you one thing and the other says the opposite. Item comes with defects (worst fitment of any body piece I’ve ever installed and air bubbles in the carbon fiber as well as huge gaps all around) but if it’s not notified at the delivery they make any excuse possible to not make it right although the shipping company doesn’t allow you to open the box to inspect it at the time of delivery. Wish I wouldn’t have wasted the time or money with a company that sources the cheapest quality and some of the worst customer service.

The sent me out a damaged front lip. I wouldn’t use this company again.

Received a front lip from this company for my 02 Jetta. The front lip came damaged which I sent pictures in before it was fixed and painted. I didnt open the box and send it in for paint until winter was over and done with. It was 4 months later so I was told they can’t do anything about. Lesson to check the box when it arrives. I’m still upset they sent me something damaged. The box was in perfect condition when it arrived as well so it wasn’t damaged in transport.

I ordered a carbon fiber trunk from K2

I ordered a carbon fiber trunk from K2 Industries and unfortunately received it with visible damage, including a scrape and a hairline crack.

I reported the issue immediately and provided photo evidence. I also informed the delivery driver at the time of arrival. Despite this, the company has continued to delay the resolution by requesting multiple photos of the packaging, which I no longer have.

While I understand policies, the condition of the item itself should be the primary concern. The product was purchased as new and should not have arrived damaged.

The process has been frustrating, especially considering the wait time and cost of the item. At this point, I am still waiting for a fair resolution.

I would recommend that future buyers carefully inspect their items before accepting delivery and take detailed photos of the packaging, as this seems to be heavily required for claims.

Overall, this experience has been disappointing.

10/10 Would Shop Again

I had a great experience with K2 Industries from start to finish. I ordered a rear bumper along with taillights, and the whole process was smooth and reassuring.

First off, the rear bumper delivery exceeded my expectations. It arrived in perfect condition, and you could tell there was real care taken during shipping and handling. The delivery team did a great job, and the quality of the bumper itself was impressive right out of the box.

What really stood out though was the customer support—especially Emily C. She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. Anytime I had a question about shipping, tracking, or even future mods for my build, she got back to me quickly with clear answers and updates. She even reached out to the manufacturer personally to get me a shipping timeline for my taillights, which I really appreciated.

On top of that, she went above and beyond by helping me pick out additional parts (like mud flaps) and giving solid recommendations that actually worked perfectly for my setup. It didn’t feel like I was just another order number—there was real effort put into helping me get exactly what I needed.

Overall, between the smooth delivery, high-quality parts, and top-tier customer service, I’d definitely recommend K2 Industries. Huge thanks to Emily for making the whole experience easy and enjoyable.

The guys at K2 industries worked great…

The guys at K2 industries worked great with me to resolve my issue with a carbon fiber hood I purchased for my 2010 Camaro SS I own. I contacted the service department, and Alex worked with me and got this all handled in less than a day and half. Can’t thank the guys and Alex enough. I have another carbon fiber hood on the way already. Kinda blows me away how fast & easy they made the entire process! Totally recommend K2 Industries

I bought a 350z bumper and the shipping…

I bought a 350z bumper and the shipping was relatively decent but a thing I have to complain is that the shipping is really expensive, the bumper was cheaper than the shipping, the fitment on the bumper was alright but I have to say that the material is really cheap, not even 2 months of using it, it already got a bunch of small cracks specially in the corners and you can feel by just pressing it with your fingers that some parts of the bumper is really weak in material.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. ABSOLUTELY FO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I bought foglights for my husband on Nov. First package (12/2/25), broken. I got sent a replacement (2/2/2025) after multiple emails and a phone call and that one was damaged as well. I sent them everything they asked for and even notified them on how poorly the product was being shipped. I waited and waited then finally on 2/19 I requested a refund because I couldn't use the product and I was sick of waiting weeks. I was told they were working on a refund and once again after WEEKS of me trying to follow up, I get told "Unfortunately, at this point a claim can no longer be filed for this order". What kind of BS is that! I am beyond pissed loosing $315! I am usually very nice and understanding but not when I am getting robbed! K2 industries are criminals!

The product arrived as described on time, install went smooth, and everything is functioning as intended. I was nervous af because there were no other installs online for me to view but I had to do something with my headlights and I’m glad it all worked out.

K2 industries sucks

My girlfriend bought me a side skirt for my 86, it came in not only broke but the wrong size. Didn’t fit my car. So she bought it February 8th, it came in around the 25th. Now she’s been trying to return it since. It’s been almost a month, and we still have yet to get any updates. They keep asking for pictures, but not telling us when we’ll get a shipping label or anything. Please do not buy from these horrible scammers.

I received my bumper and it came damaged dented chipped and scratched there is absolutely no reason for u to buy an expensive bumper from K2 industries and if you do just know you will be taking a risk even after pictures and evidence they can “NOT TAKE IT BACK”

3 months in, still no usable product.

3 months into this, trying to get a set of headlights for my vw golf. Didn't send the harness eith the lights, after almost a month of waiting on that piece, I finally was able to test them and they were absolute garbage, leds were flickering, adjusters would not even make the ligjt pattern level. Currently waiting on the "warranty" process which consists of them shifting all responsibility on the manufacturer and hiding behind them. Haven't heard a reaponse in nearly a week despite numerous emails back to them. Avoid at all costs.

If I could rate it lower than 1 star I would, Partner ordered lights from them over a year ago and they arrived damaged, Ordered them in December 2024 and was told that they would be sending out a replacement once they had them, She contacted them every month and every month it was the same S**T response " we haven't got them in stock yet" and "due to EU tariffs impacting shipments it has caused delays" what a load of crap, the tariff charge wasn't implemented until June 2025, I have been very patient until now as I could have reordered them from somewhere else if I had known that they would fk me around like this.

Genuinely the worst company I’ve ever…

Genuinely the worst company I’ve ever ordered from it took them forever to ship out the product. When turns out they actually have their warehouse down the road from where I live so I’m not sure why shipping took three weeks. And I got the product and it was just a sticker which is my fault but I go to return and they want a 25% restock fee and they wanna know why I want to return and I have to pay to ship it to return it to them when it’s literally just a sticker I will never order from them again
