Booked a holiday on January first and…

Booked a holiday on January 1st and paid in full.We should have flown June 23 to Cyprus for two weeks package holiday,we kept getting emails saying nothing will be confirmed / cancelled until 7 days before departure from the holiday company, 3 days before our holiday it was pretty obvious to us that we would not be going so we emailed JT Holiday group to see what was happening, and we were given 4 options the only way to get a full refund in an email from them was to go to my Insurance Company, second option was to get £292.44 from my flight operator and I had to challenge them, bearing in mind JT Holiday booked my package so I had no booking reference numbers tried this with Easy Jet and could not even get anywhere.
Thirdly they would give me a voucher for less than the holiday cost and this would be final payment so not an option under the circumstances.
Finally they said because they had not got their money from suppliers they could pay nothing to me, yet they are ABTA -ATOL protected and these options are contrary to what ABTA advises. Shocking correspondence, and not very helpful at all. Would never use this company again. I do not wish anyone ill harm but we would all be better off without scrupulous company's like this operating. They do not even have the decency to correspond with you yet they were quick off the mark when they wanted paying. Disgraceful company and thats from a very dissatisfied customer.

the worst company i have ever booked with

the worst company i have ever booked with! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!! due to corona virus they refused to cancel my trip to italy saying that they can only give me my money back if the flights are cancelled. 2 days later the flights were cancelled but they have refused to give any money back again they also tried changing the hotel due to "technical issues" and i did not have a choice about this. they did it behind my back. All their terms and conditions are wrong and they cannot offer any cash refunds back only credit. I was lied to constantly by this company for a week and have never felt so out of control of my own money.
this company is filled with liars, fraudsters and dishonest people. do not book with them they will not ever offer you any money back and will not help you.

Avoid like the plague shocking service

Can not give zero stars. Absolutely awful service shocking company to do business with avoid like the plague. Same as all below this holiday to Italy cancelled no flight no hotel due to COV-19 crisis this obviously means no holiday. All I am asking for is a refund nobody fault I get this. No refund I can have a credit note for the value to take some time this year I am not in a position to do this and now they have called me to tell me to take it up with my insurance company. I never wish bad things like this on anyone but if at the end of this crisis this company goes to the wall so be it never have I ever had such a bad experience with anyone offering a service and this includes Ryan air !

RIP off.charged us 463 pound each as a last minute get away to malta.

Our accomodation is awful. It's very much on the lines as a hostel. Tired, poor standards and shocking quality food. The resort is shabby, rubbish dumped on .any street corners.

Alcohol is watered down to a very weak standard. The hotel pool not working

We have contacted this company jtholidays, who trade under several different alias, 4 times or more by email and telephone. We get put on hold and told that they are waiting for the hotel supplier to come back to them.

We would really have had very little to complain about had we paid what others had 165 all inclusive but as I said before we paid over 450£ expecting at least a little comfort

Do not use this company JTholidaygroup do not touch them. You have been warned be it your own experience to do so. They hiked up the price also after we booked saying that the flights had gone up. How nieve and trusting were we!!How gullible are we

But we shell be raising a refund with atol and or our insurance to reclaim a refund. Its terrible these people are allowed to operate. We can recoup our money, but those that have saved all year or even gotten a last minute bargain will be totally and utterly ripped off, shafted with no vaseline - painful experience.

Jtholiday group sell nightmares Not Holidays!!

After some juggling my husband managed to get a week off work( hes a partner in a small garage) it meant we needed to go asap, with our 11 year old daughter .
So after looking on the internet initially for a 4* all inclusive hotel we noticed the prices for 5* all inclusive was cheaper!
Super excited we rang JT Holidays to book a week of luxury in crete for a full week. This was not what we got!
A nightmare week was what we got.
5* it was most definitely was not ! More like a 2* it was dirty had 2 beg to get our room cleaned & the place was a death trap, The fire extinguishers where not just out of date by at least 6 years They where empty! There Customer service is rubbish and after being offered £135 & point blank refusing this (the holiday cost £1635) It was paid back to the card we initially paid with, & I have been fobbed off after much complaining , and emails back and forth. DISGUSTING.
BE WARNED DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED

Extra charges Lengthy call then no Hotel available

I was on the phone for over an hour, finally agreeing the price and receiving confirmation of the breakdown and prices in full.
Only after this point Bruce (seemingly not the Indian gentleman’s real name), then told me of additional charges! I questioned these, added as handling fees. He then said he would not be able to provide the transfers he had charged for and then he said the hotel was overbooked.
A long wasted time on the phone, hidden charges that I thought were banned in the U.K. and 2 hrs after I had asked for my details to be removed from the system, to which I was told was automatic, I had a sales call asking me if I wished to go ahead with the booking! I reminded them that they had told me it had no availability.

The company was a link through holidaydiscountcentre.co.uk

Never ever use this company

Never ever use this company. I honestly can't be bothered to expand on my experience with them. because I'm so done!!

You'll end up paying double the price of the voucher you buy on Groupon.
1st hotel was a bloody hostel with bunk-beds and shared toilets. and not double room that we believed to have.
the second hotel was in an industrial estate 45 mins on train from town plus 20 minutes walk..

Long story short, stay away from these scams

This company is the worst I have dealt …

This company is the worst I have dealt with. They were in charge of arranging my 2 days break in Rome, chosing the hotel and checking me in. The title they chose although it said 3 star it was 1 star. They told me to contact them 4 days before the traveling date so they could check me in. I did and provided them with passport details. I asked if I needed to call them for the tickets or they would email them. I received the outgoing boarding passes and all other info but not returning boarding passes. They did not mention I needed to contact them again for the return boarding passes. I went to airport thinking boarding passes will be issued there for the return since I was not sent them by email or not told otherwise. I was asked by Ryanair to pay €180 for the 4 of us. I call this company from Rome and speak to Joy who after putting me on hold told me to pay RA and email them the receipt and they would compensate me the money. I did that and I received a call from Eva who told me it is my fault and they will not return me my money. After speaking to another person as she hang up on me, she called back later and offered to pay me half. I refused and said that I will write to Ombudsmen if they don't give me all my money back and sue for the inconvenience and stress they caused me. Still waiting for their response. Avoid them if you can.
