Albeit the order came in two parts. Customer Service was excellent, which is what it is there for, if things do not go to plan. Product is first class , with a super price which prompted the purchase in first place. However would recommend and definitely use again.

I've made several visits to JT Atkinson over the last two months. The service has been exemplary by the staff at the Pickering and Helmsley Branches (Duncombe Sawmill Section). They have been so helpful in helping us choose our materials for several jobs. Highly recommended for collection or delivery.

Avoid if you are a woman.
I went there yesterday in need of a large piece of chipboard. I found myself faced with the sales equivalent of Andrew Tate.
I would advise any woman to avoid this place like the plague!

I ordered some Easy Joint compound from JT Atkinson which was delivered promptly, as requested. I left it a couple of months before starting the project and all was good, until I opened the final tub, which I found to be solid and therefore unusable.
I contacted JT Atkinson and, having proved it was a genuine complaint, they replaced the product at no cost. Great service - thank you!

Went above and beyond to deliver extra product. I didnt order enough sand for a renovation project and was told delivery would take 3 days. A lady from head office went above and beyond to get me the sand by the following morning. The man who delivered even emptied the bags where they needed to be which saved me a few hours of labour. I would highly recommend

Ordered 2 bags of gravel. Had no issues with delivery, it was delivered on the day they said at around midday. Julian was very helpful and saved me a lot of work by craning the gravel directly over where I needed it. Overall very helpful and easy
