The app's interface is confusing, and every time I attempt to cash in my points, I encounter errors or am met with vague messages about unavailable rewards. Customer support is unhelpful, often giving generic responses that don't address the issues.

It feels like a fraudulent scheme designed to lure users in without ever delivering on its promises. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this app. There are far better and more reliable rewards programs out there."

I have had Drop since 2019. It used to be a great app (before 2022-ish) - you could actually earn points in a variety of ways and redeem them for gift cards.

With the changes they've made this year, it's very clear that they simply no longer have any intention of providing gift cards to users and that they're only in this to farm users' data and waste their time.

They do a gift card drop once a week, during most people's workday. If you log on before the drop and redeem exactly at the time of the drop, you'll sit on an "almost done" screen for several minutes before being told that you "missed" the drop.
I have enough points for a $25 gift card but there's literally no way to redeem them. Customer service will not help.

I don't know what happened, but it's not worth your time. If you want to make money off my data you could at least not lie to me and waste my time while doing it. Good riddance.

I have also signed the change[dot] org petition to "Demand Drop App to Unlink User Information and Initiate Class Action Lawsuit" like other users here and I encourage you to do the same if you've dealt with their lies.

The WORST. This app is completely fraudulent. I have over $200 worth of points which are basically worth nothing because it’s impossible to redeem them for anything. The worst. Not worth your time!

Take your personal data for no redeemable compensation in violation of the advertised process.

I've been a member for years and have accumulated a few $100 in 'points' on Drop in exchange for sharing my information. However, it is absolutely impossible to redeem these virtual points for anything tangible, which is the premise upon which I was persuaded to sign up for the app in the first place. They are in total violation of their user agreement. Do NOT download this app.

YOUR APP SUCKS DROP!!! I use all kinds of cash back apps and this by far has to be the worst app I have tried..For 6 months at least all I ever got was gift cards are sold out, So you can imagine my surprise when I logged in the other day and it said gift cards available. Ya sure until I click on the gift card to redeem and all I kept getting was SOMETHING WENT WRONG! I will be deleting this account and if I could I would give it a zero. Don't waste your time. I have had 60,000 points for a year now..Can't do anything with them!!!

I have been a drop member for a few years now and it is NOW A COMPLETE SCAM! They do not let you get out the money you earned anymore! They are just gathering your information from your credit card history and most likely selling it. They only let you get gift cards at 11AM on Thursdays and starting at 10:59 I will continuously hit the button and it’ll say it’s sold out by the time it hits 11 AM so they probably have like one gift card (if any) available for millions of people. I have been trying for over 6 months to get my money out of this company!

I’ve used Drop for a few years now and have never been able to redeem points for a gift card. Reading the recent app reviews doesn’t give me hope that I’ll ever be able to redeem a gift card. They are a scam and I will report them. They should be sued. Do not use Drop App. all the others are great but not this one. They should be criminalized and jailed for fraud and scam scheme. This is a completely fraudulent company that are keeping the kickbacks for themselves and not passing on to the consumer as promised. There should be a class action lawsuit and shut down this fraud company. Reporting them to the FTC and BBB.

They claim that you earn points to redeem for gift cards. Last year after waiting months for my gift cards, they changed their policy. Points were refunded and new policy implemented. I have tried numerous times to claim a gift card. Usually by the time I login they are “sold out”. Today I set timer 1159 CST to be online in time. I selected my gift card within 30 seconds of opening. Get a claiming gift card screen. First time ever getting this far! Wait 5 minutes and then a sorry we are sold out. This is a completely fraudulent company that are keeping the kickbacks for themselves and not passing on to the consumer as promised. Should be a class action lawsuit and shut down this fraud company.

This company is continuing to scam users out of their points for gift cards. I set my alarm like clock work each week to try and in less than a minute, they are sold out. Want to let others know there is a petition on change.org to start a class action lawsuit. It only needs 250 more signatures. Please go to change.org and sign the petition against drop, it almost has enough signatures.

Fraudulent company. The management should be criminalized and jailed for fraud and scam scheme. Please report this company to a law firm for a class action lawsuit. The app is programmed so that users are not able to redeem their points and they're keeping all the commissions from end user purchases.

The absolute worst app ever! I have so many points I have completed so many offers played so many games shopped at so many stores. It is ridiculous. The fact that they never have have a gift card for you to redeem. I have literally tried over 10 times. I have been waiting over a year to redeem something but they are always gone within the first 30 seconds. Every week I tried for at least seven months straight until I said forget this. I am in for a class action lawsuit. I am looking into it. This is a scam. They are fraud and they need to be reported in every way possible.

Would love to look into starting a class action lawsuit. I too cannot redeem any cards, its a total scam. Ive emailed them each week and always get the same generic response. Going to speak to a lawyer

Garbage. It's nearly impossible to redeem points. This is a class action / criminal fraud case waiting to happen.

If I could give zero stars I would. Don’t bother earning points you will never be able to redeem them

I have more than $600 worth of points that are impossible to redeem. It makes it worse than that. I had applied to redeem all of my points before Drop made it process change. I have been waiting for my gift cards for a couple months when drop Said they were changing their procedures and credited all of my points back to me and told me I would have to start over trying to redeem with a restriction of only to $25 for a gift card once per week on Thursday at 12 noon. Have tried for Months at the exact moment, the cards become eligible but always get a message that all cards have been distributed and I’ll have to try again next week. I’m surprised that this app has been allowed to continue to operate as long as it has when it obviously is not delivering on his promises .

Don’t waste your time. I have been trying to redeem points for months and never can. They want you to link your credit card info and gain whatever it is from us without giving us the rewards.

If I could rate at -1000 stars I would. Doesnt deserve even 1 star. Like everyone else I've been trying to redeem points for over 1 YEAR !! with no success. To add insult to injury I had a gift card before all the changes started. When I went to use my gift card it was at 0$. I contacted customer service and they said must have been stolen. Yes probably Drop stole and withdrew my gift card!!! This company is horrid. I'm beyong frustrated and don't know what to do to redeem as there are no gift cards and this company is treating us the customers Iike garbage and fools. Like we don't see the crooks they really are.

Like everyone else here, I am here to say this app is a scam. It mines your data and takes money via you following their affiliate links, but their marketing claims they will give you gift cards. They do not have gift cards. They used to, but they made changes and now it is impossible to do so. I have almost 60k points and I cannot redeem them. SOMEONE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. There needs to be a lawsuit against them.

I am starting to wonder if they are doing something illegal here and we should file a class action lawsuit for fraud. I have 55,000 points and they are still tracking my purchases and issuing points. However, it is impossible to get a gift card from them.

Gift cards aren’t sold out, you never release them. This is such a scam. You are taking our data, collecting money from businesses, and not providing gift certificates. I again keep trying every week exactly at start time and can’t get a gift card. What’s the point of collecting points and you can’t use them! This is a scam! This is fraudelent!
