This app is a total SCAM!!!! We need a class action lawsuit against them for blatant fraud! It is impossible to cash out the money WE EARNED, because they always say the gift cards are "sold out." There's no such thing as gift cards being sold out, as they have unlimited availability from the stores. this is just an excuse for Drop to profit from our data and not pay us!

You now have to wait until each Thursday at 1:00 pm EST to redeem your points for a gift card and I've been trying to do so for the past couple of months right at the time prescribed; but after waiting in queue for a few minutes, I get told that all the gift cards are claimed and to try again next week. Such a waste of time. I'm deleting this app. Operates like a scam at this point.

They used to be one of the best rewards sites, including the ease for redeeming points for gift cards. But something happened within the last year or two with their operations or financial stability where it is now impossible to redeem. I rather they just claim bankruptcy and shut things down vs. keeping users strung along believing there is an hope for redeeming points ever again.

Scam, they will take your info and time, yet won't pay their commitments.
Impossible to redeem points, so they are effectively worthless.
Do not give them your personal info, or waste your time.

Scam, I’m glad their app has been removed from the App Store. I only wish I could have redeemed my points before they changed their gift card policy.

They used to be great.

It’s a scam. Every week on the app early to redeem points and within seconds told they are out. Huge, huge scam. Do not connect your cards.

Cannot redeem for anything. The gift cards are a straight up lie. It will always say sold out or you just missed it, even if you’re right on the second it drops for the week. Every online review can attest to this.

It’s really sad…Drop member since 2018, many purchases to support the app because of great rewards! This changed about a year ago. You’re only allowed to redeem points for 1 $25 gift card each Thur now, it’s a countdown where they say they “run out”, or the app times out…so u can never redeem. After 10 months, I haven’t been able to redeem a single point!! IM DELETING MY ACCOUNT WITH OVER 200,000 POINTS, AND IM OK WITH THAT! BEWARE, THIS IS NOW A SCAM APP

How the he*l do they get away with this? Its basically theft of our data in exchange for an impossible redemption scam. I have over $600 in rewards that i cannot redeem bc they overload their own servers and give you a 10 second window all week before all assets are gone.

This app used to be great. Collecting points for things you would purchase anyway and then redeeming points for gift cards. But now? Gift card rewards are immediately sold out at 12:00:01 I log in at 11:30 and wait for the loading party…. No gifts. They're “sold out” if there’s no reward redemption. Starting to feel like a big old scam.

I joins in 2018 and I’ve had 50,000 points that I’ve been trying to redeem for over 2 yrs. The system they have now is messed. Either you can’t get into the app on Thursday (to many peeps trying to get on) or you get in, hit a card you want , wait…wait…wait… sometimes 10min + just to see a message pop up telling you all the cards are sold out. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Drop entices you sign up for their service so that by providing them your credit card and bank account usage data, you receive points which can in turn be used for gift cards. One issue? Their gift cards are never available. New gift cards drop every Thursday at 10am and have sold out as soon as you try to exchange your points for one. This has been going on for over a year. I’m shocked why they haven’t been shut down at this point.

The drop app is a scam. It is an app that collects your data and nothing more. You will never be able to redeem your points since it’s on a lottery system with thousands of people. Class action lawsuit needed!!!

Do not use this app. It used to be great. If you had enough earned points, you could redeem them at any time for a giftcard of your choosing. Now instead they - allegedly - release a limited number of gift cards each week at a specific time and you need to attemp to request it. But the giftcards always sell out - if there were any to begin with - and you just find that you've once again wasted 20+ minutes of your Thursday morning. Do not bother. They're just farming your data.

This app is horrible and a scam, it used to be good. I have 85,000 points that I cannot redeem. I’ve tired multiple times, gotten as far as picking the gift card I want then it says sorry try next week. I tired to unlink my card in the app and it wouldn’t. In return, I unlinked it from my bank account.

I would give zero stars. You spend this time shopping for discounts but there is only a weekly time and day to get your points redeemed. I’ve been waiting over
