I have been a loyal JOE & THE JUICE customer for many years and recently contacted customer service regarding a Joe card that I purchased with my own money, that had expired only a few hours earlier. I’d actually reached out even before it expired.
I fully understood that the company might choose not to extend it and was simply asking whether an exception could be considered as a gesture of goodwill given my long-standing loyalty as a customer.
The issue is not that my request was declined. Companies are entitled to enforce their terms and conditions. What disappointed me was the way the matter was handled.
After my request was refused, I politely asked whether it could be escalated to a manager for review. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or explaining the escalation process, I was simply told that no extension would be granted. When I raised the matter again, I received the following response from a “Lead”: “Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate your request, so this case will now be closed.”
I found this response dismissive and unprofessional. There appeared to be no willingness to review the matter, consider my customer history, or properly address my request for escalation. Instead, the conversation was simply shut down.
Good customer service is not about always saying yes. It is about listening, showing consideration, and treating customers with respect, particularly those who have supported your business for years. In this case, I felt dismissed rather than valued.
Having been a loyal customer for many years, this is ultimately the thanks I received: a refusal to consider an escalation request and a message informing me that the case would be closed. The decision itself was disappointing, but the way it was handled was even more disappointing.
Based on this experience, I am left questioning how much customer loyalty is actually valued by JOE & THE JUICE.

Great sandwiches and juices, and great support.
I have to specifically mention Lou who was very helpful and efficient retrieving a still valid sandwich card that had disappeared over the weekend. I was loosing confidence in the Apps stability, but she made sure, I regained the trust.
Also Jen who helped me earlier did a great job.

I love how well the app works. I can just order online and once I get to the store, I can pick it up without any issue. So far every order I got was pretty good and the employees working at the stores are always very nice.

I visited The Joe & The Juice in Copenhagen Airport on Monday, May 25th at around 13:00. The smoothie was delicious and healthy, however, I am very disappointed about the long waiting time. We waited for our order for at least 20-25 minutes. At least 30 customer were waiting for their order at the same time. The staff could not figure out for a long time which order belongs to which customer - there is clearly some flaws within the communication and the workflow in general.

I’m in the branch at Bluewater, drinks are nice but expensive. The tables and floor area are disgraceful full of detritus, asked a member of staff if he could clean a table for us but was unhelpful when he had time!
Also the soft furniture was dirty could do with a good clean.

Your pleasant staff member at Louise location (sorry forgot her name) helped me negotiate the app upon my 2nd visit. On my 3rd visit she recognized me upon entry and greeted me with a friendly smile. I was on my phone at the front and she hand delivered my smoothie. I was so pleasantly surprised.

After order 5-6 times, this location is not as good as the downtown location, sand which are no pressed enough, they lack sauce and ingredients
