Be careful - they will insist on more money after instruction
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
I instructed JOD Surveys to prepare a Land Registry-compliant plan to facilitate a remortgage. Despite multiple attempts, the plans produced repeatedly failed to meet Land Registry requirements and were rejected. The work I had specifically instructed was therefore never successfully completed.
Instead of rectifying work that had repeatedly failed to meet Land Registry requirements, I was informed that no further work would be undertaken unless I first paid the outstanding balance in full, despite the original objective not having been achieved. This left me with no practical alternative but to instruct another surveyor, who produced a compliant Land Registry plan at additional cost.
As a direct result, I incurred further expense, suffered delays to my remortgage and experienced significant unnecessary stress.
I was extremely disappointed with the way this matter was handled. In my view, the focus should have been on delivering the service that had been contracted for, rather than refusing to complete the work unless payment was made first.
