Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 90 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers found the service incredibly helpful for tailoring resumes to specific job descriptions, effectively navigating Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and identifying crucial gaps in their applications. Many highlighted the ease of use, intuitive interface, and the valuable keyword analysis that significantly increased their chances of securing interviews and job offers. However, some customers also noted that the tool occasionally overlooked skills if they didn't exactly match the job description, and a few experienced issues with the system being down or not scanning correctly. A few other people also felt that the interface was clunky or dated, and some questioned the product's utility compared to other AI tools for resume editing.

Senior Engineer Changing Locations

JobScan was tremendously helpful in improving the match of my resume with descriptions of several potential jobs. I applied to two engineering positions in very different industries. I completed multiple rounds of interviews with both companies and accepted an offer as a Senior Engineer in my field.

Used Jobscan for about 2.5 months…

Used Jobscan for about 2.5 months before I found a job -- worth every penny! It felt weird paying to help me get a job but in this ATS-driven job market it was amazing -- I basically used it to keep pulling keywords out of job descriptions and pumping those into my resume in a natural way until I hit the "ready to apply" score. I loved that I could do that from my Word docs and not be forced to use their inbuilt editor. Using Jobscan I was getting an interview rate of about 1/10 applications to interview which is a real improvement (I was at like 1/20 to 1/30 before).

Overall if you're hesitating, try it for a month. It really helped me!

Illegally keeping subscription active

Illegally keeping subscription active. I have cancelled my subscription 3x and after a few days, they would still charge! This has happened on many occasions and I have proof of attempts to charge on my card. Everytime I cancel, they would say, the premium subscription expires a few days from the day I cancelled. There is no way to remove your payment details. Each time I press downgrade again, it just says “I’m on the premium plan”. This is illegal. I have never been so angry of a company that uses illegal practices.

Absolutely Satisfied

Game changer when it comes to addressing what needs to be in your resume to beat the ATS and get your resume seen. The hit rate and success I had by utilizing Jobscan and the feedback and key words to add or shape into my resume was incredible. IMO its absolutely worth the money, especially the discounted three month subscription.

Thanks

The scan was more effective than other resources. The feedback was clear on what needs to be addressed to pass the ATS.

Poor product & customer service

This product worked great for about 2 days. I was able to compare resumes (pdf file) to job descriptions and customize to fit the role. I noticed on the 2nd day that the provided templates from Jobscan are not compatible with Workday applications as the format parses the information incorrectly. When placing the information into a format that is standard and works within Workday, Jobscan stopped working. Now, any pdf file that I upload for comparison fails to bring in all information, fails to read the words to identify keywords that are included, and the customer services is of no help. Customer service itself is via email only, once assigned, only that person will help (I have an actual email from a rep that replied to me saying the assigned person would answer my question when they return). Additionally the customer service help is infrequent on their replies and very elementary in their communication, providing no reliable assistance.
