This is my second ring repair with Carl. Speedy response to my email and very good feedback with the quote re the damage. Excellent repairs done to both my rings, and to a very high standard. Would highly recommend.

We are so pleased that we found the jewellery chap for a repair to my wife's broken rope chain. Firstly dealing with Carl is straightforward online and unlike some jewellery shops he assessed the repair and gave an approximate cost. Having sent the item he advised that the repair was simple and re-quoted a lower price unlike the usual fixed prices quoted in shops. The item was repaired and returned in a short period and my wife is delighted with the outcome & a repair that is invisible. I would have no hesitation in recommending Carl's company for reliability and a very professional service.

I had two rings resized with Carl. The process from start to finish was very efficient and he was so helpful throughout, offering to make adjustments if needed. Both rings are sized perfectly and I’m extremely happy with them. Highly recommend!

Dealing with Carl was a breeze start to finish, made me aware that because of the size of the rings there may be a slight increase in price, but despite that, didn't actually budge from the original quote.

I bought some gold plated rings from Etsy, which are beautifully designed, but unfortunately have only been "flashed" with a layer of gold (0.25-0.5 microns) after Carl had finished with them, they're now 3 microns thick and boy does it show, they're a much richer colour now and show no signs that they're going to wear through quickly.

Carl's craftsmanship really is second to none, the medusa ring I sent him was warped and scratched quite a bit due to the ring not fitting and me doing some DIY to "make" it fit, after getting the ring back there's hardly a blemish in sight, it's absolutely gleaming, it's a breath of fresh air to deal with such a professional service in this day and age where such a thing isn't that prevalent anymore.

Thank you for making my rings look how they should have been Carl, if you're not sure on whether to get your rings plated by Jewellerychap, let this review serve as a reminder that you should, can't recommend them enough.

Just received back my eternity ring I sent to Carl for a diamond replacement/setting. Absolutely fabulous as always and very prompt. His work is outstanding and always happy to give advice oneverything! Always use him and wouldn't go elsewhere! Chrissie

Needed some stone and clasp repairs to my engagement ring. H. Samuel quoted over £900, but this repair cost less than a quarter of that! Excellent communication throughout — everything was clearly explained, including what was essential now and what might be needed in future. Highly recommended.

Sadly can't comment on expertise. Still waiting for response to enquiry several days later! We're ALL "busy"!! Maybe watch brand was too cheap to bother or repair not possible, but it would be useful to know. Have gone elsewhere.
