SCAM SITE
Edit to their response - They're now lying - they didnt supply as agreed, the whole delay was caused due to the supplier shipping the product extremely late to which they admitted. I no longer needed the item. They are now stating they will only refund half of my order despite admitted it was their fualt and accepting to cover the cost of return The issue was not my delay on custom chargers but their delay for shipping. I am also somewhat suspicious of some of their 5star reviews having read them and them being unverified. I am now over 30euros down, with no product to show due to their poor handling of the product and situation

I found that this website is a scam.
They falsely advertise delivery dates on their website which they know they cannot deliver to. This wouldn't be so much of an issue if the premium delivery they advertise wasn't more than the actual item. The website stated that if you order before a certain date and pay the highest delivery charge it will come between certain times.
They do ship the item eventually but its already late before it even leaves their shore.
Theur premium delivery is a waste of money as they ship way outside the delivery times. The delivery protection is also a scam and means nothing, so I'd avoid that too.
Their customer service is practically non existent. They ignore you for weeks. They change their decisions depending on who responds and then lie about it despite it being on email.
Once/if the item reaches customs they essentially force you to accept the product late and pay custom charges or they threaten you wont receive your refund back once the item is sent back to them via customs. They did eventually offer to pay the charge as they admitted shipping late (no offer to refund the premium delivery i paid). But as their 'policy' didnt allow partial refunds, I had to pay the charge out of my own money first and then invoice them...yeah I didnt trust them enough to do that.
If you try to raise an issue on social media they block you and delete the comment to stop other potential customers seeing their bad reviews.
I'd seriously avoid this website at all costs. It is by far the worst service I have ever used. I have no product and will actually lose money because of their incompetence and poor business practices. This is the first time in my 30some years on this planet I have had to use a charge back with my bank. I would honestly avoid at all costs and save yourself the hassle.

We strongly disagree with the statements in your review and would like to clarify the facts.
You placed an order with us, and we produced and shipped your item as agreed. The delay occurred because you refused to pay the required customs fee, which prevented the shipment from being released by customs.
Regarding customs charges, our policy clearly states that import duties and taxes are the customer’s responsibility. Despite this, we initially offered to cover 50% of the customs fee as a goodwill gesture, which you declined. We then offered to cover 100% of the customs charges, provided that you paid the customs authority first and submitted an official receipt, which is a standard requirement for reimbursement.
You refused to pay the customs fee upfront and instead demanded that we issue a refund before any payment was made. Without proof of payment, we cannot process any refund or reimbursement, in line with our policy and standard international shipping procedures.
We made extensive efforts to support you well beyond our standard policy, including multiple concessions and alternative solutions. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, you continued to reject all reasonable options, making it impossible for us to proceed further. At that point, we informed you that we could no longer continue handling the case. If a shipment is returned by customs, the carrier may apply return and handling fees on both ends in accordance with their regulations, which is outside our control.
You are, of course, entitled to pursue a chargeback through your bank. However, based on the full communication history and the solutions offered, we are confident that we acted appropriately and in line with our stated policies. We stand by our handling of this matter.
While you have chosen to label our business as a “scam site” in this review, we respectfully disagree. We have served a large number of customers over many years and have built our reputation through consistent delivery, transparent policies, and long-term operations in this industry.
One review does not reflect the reality of our business or the experience of the majority of our customers, and it does not change the documented facts of how this case was handled.

I just can't say enough good about this company. It is such a treat to discover all these amazing products. The shipping is insanely expensive but if you take into consideration to low prices of most products, it totally make sense. I have ordered from them many times and I will order again. Give it a try, you won't be disapointed.

Smooth transaction
I bought Taisho Paburon. It arrived as expected and well packaged. The only issue is the shipping cost to US. It is very high, but it is an international shipment. Not much I or the seller can do on that.

Very Positive Experience
I had never purchased an item from Japan before, and was concerned that issues with shipping, duty, and so forth might arise. I was also concerned that the product would be incorrect in some way. I can see now that I need not have been concerned! The product I had ordered arrived well within the time frame allotted. The tracking link provided worked well, so it was easy to track progress. My shipment was impeccably packaged, and arrived in perfect shape, with no surprises at all with regard to shipping or customs. And the product that arrived was exactly what I had ordered. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience with Japan with Love, and would certainly order from them again.

Received cream a little later than expected; maybe because of Christmas. It was well packaged and I am glad that it has arrived before Christmas as it will be a surprise for my mum as she is no longer able to buy this cream in the UK.

Fake/Non-Japanese Products
So I checked Trustpilot even before ordering from them, I should have known better and not risked it. But the one thing I saw people say was that at least the products they were sent are legitimate and I liked knowing the tariffs I would have to pay at checkout. I received fake Duo Black cleansing balm (I should have known with the marked down price). I've bought this cleansing balm through other means that I knew 100% I was getting legitimate Japanese products and immediately there were several red flags with what I received from JapanWithLove. The case was grey instead of the black it normally is. I put some in my hand to test it and it foamed up a little bit as I was rubbing it. Real Duo Black DOES NOT foam up. It had a generic soapy smell, real Duo Black has a citrusy smell very similar to ramune. As a side note, they had the label prepared for the package for around a week before it was actually shipped out which they did after I sent them an email asking about it, but really I'm not that upset about the wait time compared to receiving product that I don't feel comfortable using.

Horrible experience. I ordered a few items as a B-day present for my firend, 26 days later and my order still hasn't been shipped. No updates or follow-ups from the business. Requested refund 2 days ago with no reply from the business so far. Feels like a scam. Wouldn't recommend.
