Cheshire Oaks…

I’m visited the store in Cheshire Oaks today looking for a specific backpack for my forthcoming trip. I was approached by Kyle who took the time to explain the different options available to me to fit my requirements. His knowledge and expertise went way beyond my expectations. I ended up purchasing many other items and was served by Beth, what a beautiful young lady, so friendly and chatty. I don’t usually write reviews but these two made my day and certainly deserve some recognition. Thanks guys, you are a credit to the company

A Farce in Wolf Skin with a Catch

Ordered some shoes which were delivered.
Tried them on but the fit wasn't good for me - too tight. So decided to return them and looked for an enclosed returns label which wasn't enclosed. Called customer service and they said they would email me one. Later that morning I had an email from the agent that I had spoken to, saying they couldn't send me a returns label as they were transitioning from Parcelforce to Royal Mail. So I emailed back saying I was sorry they were having problems but as it was not my fault would they please send me my refund and when they had sorted out their problem and I had received the returns label I will send the goods back immediately. No response so emailed them again - no response. Phoned them again. Was told that I cant get a refund until they have the goods but that they cant send me a returns label for them to receive the goods as they were having issues so I am unable to send the goods back to get a refund. Catch 22 the greatest farce in literature played out in real life. Where do you go with a company that operates like this (a shark in wolfskin), except write a one star review, ask your bank for a charge back and recommend that people deal with this company with upmost caution.

Avoid buying from this company

Please don’t order from this company. They use cheap delivery service “parcel force”. The parcel’s are not required for proof of delivery signature by this company. This puts the parcel into vulnerable position of going missing and the customer has to justify their grounds to evidence that they have not received the parcel. They tell you to send a fill in claim form and then you have justify that you did not receive the parcel. This Compnay procedures are nightmare. Please avoid if you want to keep your money safe.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. Tried to place an Oder but then just kept telling me I was logged out. Round and round. Tried live chat and all they could say it was technical hitch and try again later. Avoid this company.

Company doesn't stand behind their…

Company doesn't stand behind their returns. Purchased this jacket several years ago in Germany from a retail store that closed during COVID. Since then, the interior lining has begun crumbling away leaving particles everywhere. When trying to contact Jack Wolfskin, I kept getting canned email responses to process my return through the original store of purchase. For the price, they could at least use something that wasn't cheap Chinese crap material.

Bad news for the planet

I bought my husband a higher spec waterproof jacket - it was NOT waterproof. I then bought some waterproofing Nikwax and washed the jacket at 20° (instructions say 30°). The jacket (and Nikwax, which never got used) was a waste of money because the rubber/plastic? lining had broken down in my washing machine and is now polluting the ocean.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Short returns period. I was one working day over and could t get them to budge an inch. I couldn’t even exchange or get a credit note. Used to love the brand. Clearly they’ve gone down hill. Don’t waste your time and money

Cheshire Oaks store

Cheshire Oaks store; all the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Kyle Thomas in particular went above and beyond when we were trying to find some walking shoes.
A very pleasant shopping experience. We went on Monday 17th in the evening.

Avoid at all costs…

Wish I'd read these reviews before I brought from this terrible company. Ordered a bag on 19th and have still not received it. They have also ignored my email and the message I left through FB. Will never be buying from them again. Have also put a stop on payments (through Klarna) until I get my purchase. (If I ever do).

Absolutely disgusting customer service…

Absolutely disgusting customer service and returns policy, stay away at all costs, they are a rip off, took 21 days for the jacket to arrive and no compensation, missed Xmas, they blamed Royal Mail, but says on the website 3-5 days to be delivered, but made me jump through hoops to get my money back, gave up in the end. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

While our website does state a delivery time of 3-5 business days, we do rely on shipping partners like Royal Mail, and sometimes unforeseen delays can occur. However, that doesn’t excuse the lack of communication or the difficulty you faced in getting a refund. We should have handled this much better, and I’d like to see if there’s anything I can still do to help.

Could you perhaps provide us with your order number or any other relevant details about your purchase via email? A Truly Shocking Retailer

I wish I had checked here before placing an order on 11 Jan 2025. If I had then I would have avoided Jack Wolfskin at all costs.

The review from "customer" dated 27 Dec 2024 is very much like the position that I find myself in.

How can a company be allowed to trade in the way that they do? Customer service appears to be an alien concept to them.

Never again will I buy anything from them.

I would not recommend them to my worst enemy!

I cannot complain from the quality of…

I cannot complain from the quality of the cloths but please people, please stop using "Parcel Force " for your delivery method! This company is absolute joke , I can't even check where is the parcel, what time will come etc. Please , Stop using Parcel force delivery company!

Not received my jacket but taken my money

Placed an order for a jacket on 21/12/2024 Today is 27/12/2024.
Emailed Jack Wolfskin on 26/12/2024 as did not receive order confirmation and no updates regarding delivery for the jacket order I had placed

Received email back confirming they have not processed the order and have received funds. Jack Wolfskin have my order for the jacket for 4 days now and still counting. These 4 days are not including Jack wolfskin closing for Christmas and boxing day. It was explained that once Jack Wolfskin have processed my order once it has cleared customs in the UK the delivery is 3-5 days after this point.

This is very disappointing as I ordered from jack-wolfskin.co.uk and was not expecting my jacket to be sent from outside the UK hundred of miles away. Further more I was also made aware in the email that I would be liable to pay any custom charges for example VAT, care and handling charges and any further charges on top of the price I paid for my expensive jacket.
I emailed Jack wolfskin back to cancel my order and asked for a full refund and was told by email from Jack Wolfskin this was not possible (see attached link) confirming the website stating

Due to fast logistic processes, which should prevent you from waiting a long time for your package, it is not possible to change or cancel a successfully completed order

This is an absolute joke. Jack Wolfskin have had my order for 4 working days in total and still they have not acted on this but taken the full amount of money from my bank account.

In other words when Jack Wolfskin decides to process my order whether this is 2 weeks, 8 months or even 5 years and then my jacket clears Customs the delivery will then be 3-5 days from that point.

Just to also be clear they confirmed even though they have not processed my order, nor it has been made up and has not left the Jack Wolfskin warehouse they are unable to cancel my order.

I was advised I had to wait until I received my order and then go through the process to send this back and then to receive a credit note when I want a full refund

This is such a shame that Jack Wolfskin have fallen and operating into and under CLOWWNN world

Please be extra carful when buying from this company as I will not buying or using this company again even as a first time customer

BAD SERVICE AND A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT CARE

I placed an order at beginning of November and there was no parcel tracking. I was told to be patient and it would arrive despite an email saying the parcel had been returned! The monitory value refunded to credit card but not the £40.00 loyalty voucher. Chased many times by email and today spoke to Till in their customer services who says if I pay full amount they will retrospectively refund the £40.00 at a later date but can’t add the loyalty voucher back to my loyalty account and that expires end of this month.

Very bad customer service, a company that does not care about customers or service but good quality products.

Only one order I placed with them was problem free, the rest have all been diabolical service and whilst things can go wrong, you’d expect the company service to also be of quality and an eagerness to resolve issues.

They won’t even allow you to escalate a complaint to a senior manager.

Failing to refund the voucher is a breach of uk consumer law and I will be taking this further.

I have ordered from Jack Wolfskin in…

I have ordered from Jack Wolfskin in the past but will not in the future. Unfortunately like a lot of people on here, I found delivery took far too long. For the company to blame Brexit is a little disappointing, this happened in 2016 for goodness sake! I have bought from several European and US companies and they seem to have coped with it well enough. To sum up I would say Jack Wolfskin, great product but terrible customer experience

Frustrating ordering experience.

I placed 4 separate orders and every time my order was cancelled. Refund back on card quickly but extremely frustrating. Why are items showing available when they are clearly not. I really like Jack Wolfskin as a brand but this experience would put me off ordering anything online from them. Made a complaint only to be told I should contact my local store, I don’t have a local any more due to it being closed down, hence why I was trying to order online.
