Worst experience using ixigo app for ticketing and there campaign of conferm ticket or 2x refund it is a big scam I am saying this because I faced a incident that
I have book a train ticket in ixigo through guarantee conferm ticket system they said that ticket will be confirm of 2x refund will be done but at last movement ticket was not confirmed my ticket amount was 1910/- they refund me 1275/- and 1275 in form of coupon validity of 7 days
I have done booking of next ticket using that coupon but 2nd ticket also was waiting at last movement 2 nd ticket amount was 1205/- in that I have paid 75/- gpay they refund me approx 350/- rest all approx 855/- wasted so the campain of 2 x refund is a big scam they are not giving conferm ticket so please dont book a ticket from ixigo app

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with ixigo. While booking my ticket, I chose their “Guaranteed Assured Refund” option, which clearly showed I would lose only about ₹1000 in case of cancellation. It seemed like a fair deal, so I went ahead and booked.

But when I had to cancel the ticket, I was shocked to see a deduction of ₹3200 from my refund amount. This is a huge amount for me, and it completely goes against what was promised at the time of booking. It feels like a complete scam and false advertising just to lure people in.

I trusted ixigo, but after this incident, I would strongly advise others not to book through them. Their refund policies are misleading, and customer trust clearly doesn’t matter to them. Never again!

Such a stupid application made... Tatkal booking starts at 10:10 while IRCTC open at 10:00, there pappa sitting their to get tickets at 10:10 for us 😝😝😝 just app made fetch money

Never book a train ticket through Ixigo — it was a terrible experience. They are fraudulent and deceive people in the name of their “3X refund travel guarantee.”

I paid 3690 ticket fare + 2218 travel guarantee = 5984 still tickets didn't got confirmed. So they refunded 3690 ticket fare and gave coupon of 3690 which can be used one time only, so they gave us our travel guarantee money as coupon, so where was the 2X amount? this clearly appears to be a misrepresentation of service and fraudulent advertising.

Please be aware of Ixigo travel guarantee option and let others also know about it

Terrible Experience with ixigo Guarantee – Total Rip-Off!

I am extremely disappointed with ixigo and their so-called "Guarantee" service. I paid extra for ticket confirmation assurance, and yet ALL THREE of my tickets are stuck in RAC! What exactly did I pay the extra amount for? This feels like a scam.

To make matters worse, now if I choose to cancel, I get NO REFUND at all! How are three people supposed to travel on RAC tickets? This is absolutely ridiculous and completely defeats the purpose of paying for a "guarantee."

ixigo is clearly making money off helpless travelers without actually providing any real benefit. Their policies are misleading, and customer service is nowhere to be found when you need them the most. Avoid this guarantee at all costs – it's just a money-making gimmick.

Never, ever book train tickets through Ixigo. I learned the hard way. I booked a ticket using their so-called Travel Guarantee – where they claim you’ll either get a confirmed ticket or a 3x refund. Sounds great, right? Except it’s complete bullsh*t.

I paid ₹990 for the ticket and ₹419 for the travel guarantee. Not only did my ticket NOT get confirmed, but they refunded me a pathetic ₹915. Where’s the 3x refund? Where’s the guarantee? Total scam.

To make things worse, I called their customer service hoping to sort it out, and it was just a bunch of scripted responses from people who clearly had zero authority or intention to help. They’re just puppets reading off a cheat sheet.

Ixigo lured me in with false promises and walked away with my money. If you value your time, money, and sanity – stay far away from this app. Absolute scam artists hiding behind marketing gimmicks.

I booked a train ticket from chennai to thrissur under travel guarantee . On the day of travel it was still waitlisted and the travel guarantee says we have make a booking with ixigo amt within one week . That is not fair . Our travel plan was extended by a fortnight so I lost the money . Please make the terms clear in the site so that gullible man does not loose money.

Ixigo The worst booking agency I have ever seen, not recommended to anyone as the agency is worst in handling customer complaints and needs in emergency situations as I am one of their victims.

I was raising a request to reschedule my flight ticket almost one month prior to the
Travel date which they want to charge me extra fare by which I could buy a new ticket cheaper than it.

And from what I understand that rescheduling costs me a lot I managed to cancel my whole ticket again they only give me back 10% of what I spent.

I feel so guilty using their app for last nine months for booking mine own tickets even for my cousins purchase as I didn’t knew how worst customer service they have until I had this experience from them.

And I had to make couple of calls and their chat service several times to get a response for my single query, even they tell us to wait for two hours without any hesitation just to get an information about flight charge as they claim themselves as a ticket booking agency. Even while writing this review still I am waiting for their reply since last seven hours which they told me it only take two hours ☹️

Again I won’t recommend this service for anyone

Maine Ixigo se train ticket book Kiya tha inki 3x Gurantee confirm ticket scheme mai.. aane aur jaane ki par koi ticket confirm nahi hui. .. par paisa refund hua kewal ticket ka jo IRCTC leta hai par jo 3000 + 3000 total 6000Rs. Ixigo ne 3x Gurantee confirm ticket ke liye woh nahi wapis aaye. Jab Maine phone Kiya toh customer care wale bole ki 3000 +3000 ke aapko treval voucher diye hai jo aap next booking mai redeem Kar sakte hai within 7 days... majaak laga Kar rakha hai ixigo ne. Pahle poora trip Mera barbaad Kiya aur phir paisa return na karke voucher diya woh bhi within 7 days .
Aur complaint ka bhi koi revert nahi

I booked hotel for two days at Tirupur through IXIGO from 1st April to 3rd April.However I had to return to Chennai on 2nd and I requested IXIGO to cancel for one day and refund me the amount for one day hotel stay.Eventhough I had booked under non refundable category,on explaining the emergency situation of my return one day earlier they had returned my money without any delay.Further my air booking through them was very smooth and I am happy with their overall approach and care towards their customers.
