A Con. Misleading advertising and extremely poor quality

Ordered sandals and they were nothing like the picture. They use cheap vinyl for the uppers and microfibre linings and look like someone put them together in their back shed. They dont fit and are unwearable. They come from China, take weeks to arrive and are not usable when they do. Its a con and I am embarrassed to be caught out again. I would give it a half star because, technically, they did send something but it was not worth receiving. A CON.

Total scam but now receiving refunds!

My experience has been the same as everyone else’s here - charged in USD and then charged a subscription payment and no goods have arrived. I have been emailing the dodgy company ‘Pawneecheck’ and they are quite responsive but it’s all generic and they can’t supply tracking details despite telling me my order had already been shipped. However, I’ve just had two payments refunded to my credit card from Pawneecheck. It’s very weird and I’m keeping a close eye on things. The refunds aren’t quite the same amounts as the charges, but that could be due to the exchange rate? It’s a total scam, but these refunds are an odd turn of events and make me suspicious of what will happen next!
Update - Only one refund actually came through and to my surprise, my order arrived as well. It’s definitely not a nice leather bag though - cheap vinyl. I’ve since seen the advertisement on instagram again, but under a new name. Don’t purchase!

Do not purchase from this sight

Do not purchase from this sight, I Purchased a bag however the transaction was in USD and another transaction was then debited from my card . When you purchase you apparently sign up for a subscription to another company in Cyprus, this is misleading and fraudulent!

Leather bags are cheap vinyl

I ordered a leather handbag from this supplier however when it arrived i have found out it is a cheap vinyl product. I am seeking a refund. UPDATE 8 FEBRUARY (the next day) my email asking for a refund was not accepted by the website server. My message did not even get through their server! They are NOT genuine.

Advertised as an Australian company NOT

Advertised as an Australian company but the $39.95 was apparently US and immediately changed to $61.
The "handmade leather bag" is cheap plastic and a good size for a 5 year old child. DO NOT BUY. I reported them for fraud and cancelled my card within minutes.

Avoid

Avoid, don't click, don't pay. Even if you feel oh - an Australian company is closing down. Since then Instagram has shown me the same products advertised on different business profiles. So be aware, that if this one is stopped, others are there as the same scam.

SCAM...SCAM...SCAM

I have experienced exactly the same results as previous reviewers with Ivy Melbourne. 1 star is 1 star way too much. It would be great is there was a place I could tick on no stars with a huge thumbs down.
I made a purchase in Aust dollars amounting to $29.95 with free freight on 27-1-24 and I received a strange looking invoice in US dollars. In my bank account an amount of $1.14 was added and noted as a fee, then converted to $AU46.96. Then on 3-2-24 another amount of $AU79.21 was deducted. I became suspicious as the latest entry had the same reference number as the first entry. I phoned my bank who cancelled my card and arranged for a new card to be sent.

Wouldn't give it 1 star if that was an option- this site is a scam. Luckily my bank was vigilant, blocked the transaction and contacted me. The scammers apparently tried to use my card on two more occasions before the bank was able to speak to me and confirm I had not authorised the transactions. Fortunately no funds taken just the minor inconvenience of no card for a few days until the new one arrives.

Advertised as Australian company after checkout invoice states US dollars, third party membership linked at checkout in a very deceiving way. Reached out to the company within minutes of placing order requesting it to be cancelled, they just go round in circles denying they are false advertising & insisting they have no idea about the 3rd party membership located at checkout & won’t cancel order. I have contact my bank and will follow up with retail ombudsman & police if need be… this website is 100% a scam

Don't trust the fraudulent company "Ivy Melbourne"

This company is saying that it is going out of business and says it sells hand-made leather handbags and offers them in AUS $. When the transaction is made, the completed order and postage is in US$.

There is also a token attached to the credit card payment that enables this organisation which operates under another business name of "Go the miles" that operates out of Nicosia in Cypress. This token legally allows this company to sign up people to a subscription which allows it to take regular amounts from the credit card of the person. Even if a new card is issued, the token remains and money can be taken from the new card. Banks will remove the token if they are aware that this is placed on the card.

I received the item today in a plain plastic postage bag with no return address or invoice inside the bag. The item is a crappy vinyl bag that is fit for nothing. It is not a hand-made leather bag.

This company fraudulently took another amount from my credit card of $76 because it has the token attached. My bank has now cancelled my credit card and is issuing a new one and has taken off the token.

Be aware that this company "Ivy Melbourne" is fraudulent and evil in its actions. There is no guarantee that people who have been scammed will ever get their money back either!

There is no email address for this company, just the ability to send msgs to which you are likely to get no response. There is also no bricks and mortar address and no phone contact number.

If you have not used a company before to purchase anything, before you part with your money, do a Google check and read the reviews before purchasing anything.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The seller's website (ivy-melbourne.com) listed the product we ordered in AUD. However, we were billed through ohyesitson.com in USD. We sent messages to both websites to notify them of the discrepancy and to cancel the order. We have not received any acknowledgement of receipt of the messages and no indication of whether the order has been cancelled.
One week later, we were billed a further USD49.99 by ohyesitson.com even though we have not ordered any further products. This amount matches the "Premium Membership' listed on their website, though we have not signed up to any membership with them. We are pursuing a refund of this amount through our bank, though it appears we are going to have to cancel our credit card.
AVOID!!!!!!

I ordered from a similar company…

I ordered from a similar company Nella-Melbourne. thought it was AUD but charged by a different company Linksgreen.com in USD and got order confirmation from Linksgreen. When I emailed Nella-Melbourne support they kept saying they couldn't find the order even though I emailed them the Order confirmation with Invoice no. Also got automatically signed up for a monthly subscription of USD$29.99 which I was able to cancel. I chatted online to the help desk at Linksgreen.com who said they found my order but that it would be delayed 8-12 working days for shipping despite the website saying would ship in 48 hrs. Linksgreen support agent said they do orders for other websites, when I asked what a Mobile Ph shop had to do with Apparel & footwear. All very Suss. . It's a scam.
