Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 237 reviews, reviewers had a great experience with this company. Many customers appreciate the detailed information and analysis provided, finding it very useful for making informed decisions. The platform is often described as user-friendly and efficient, with a well-designed mobile app that offers most of the website's functionality. Reviewers also highlight the excellent customer service, with specific mentions of helpful and understanding support staff who efficiently resolve issues. However, some people were dissatisfied with the customer service, citing unresponsiveness, copy-pasted replies, and difficulties with subscription cancellations and renewals. Additionally, a few other people also felt that the 'Pro' subscription was misleading, as many desired features required an upgrade to 'Pro+' and were not clearly indicated.

The PRO plan is basically useless.

The PRO plan is basically useless.

Not even showing the fundamentals in the PRO subscription when it's free on their website itself is beyond me. Would not recommend at all.

Manipulative Scammers

They are clearly manipulating their so-called fair value targets, making people lose money and then trying to cover it up in a ridiculous way. Let me give you a few examples:

In 2023, the fair value for St. James was listed as 800p, yet the share price dropped to 238. After the crash, they suddenly revised their fair value down from 800 to 443. Then, as the share recovered and reached 443, they acted as if they were “spot on” and praised themselves — conveniently ignoring that investors lost money when the price was around 600 while their “pro AI” kept calling it cheap.

They pulled the same move on B&M. They have been quietly lowering their inflated fair value targets over time, completely disregarding the people who entered based on their previous, overly optimistic valuations.

The funniest part is that they think nobody will notice. Pure scammers.

Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding our fair value estimates Trader Adam.

We take feedback about our valuation methodologies very seriously, especially when customers feel they've been misled.

We understand your frustration with the changes in our Fair Value targets and how these shifts might appear when viewed alongside market movements.

We would like to address your specific examples and provide more context about how our valuation models work.

Fair value has limitations that investors should consider when using it as a decision-making tool. Below are the key limitations, that can be found in this article - https://www.investing.com/academy/analysis/fair-value-investing-stocks:

Subjectivity in Calculation: Fair value depends on the assumptions and methods used, such as discounted cash flow (DCF) or price-to-earnings (P/E) ratios. Different analysts may arrive at varying results.

Dynamic Nature: Fair value changes over time due to market conditions, economic factors, or company-specific developments, requiring frequent reassessment to remain relevant.

Influence of Market Sentiment: Market prices often deviate significantly from fair value in the short term due to investor sentiment, speculation, or panic, making it less reliable in volatile conditions.

Data Accuracy and Availability: Accurate fair value estimation relies on high-quality financial data. Limited or outdated information can lead to incorrect valuations.

Complexity in Estimation: Fair value models, like DCF, require detailed inputs such as growth rates, discount rates, and cash flow projections. Errors in assumptions can significantly impact results.

Excludes Qualitative Factors: Fair value often emphasizes quantitative metrics and may overlook qualitative factors like brand value, management quality, or competitive advantage.

Unsuitable for Short-Term Decisions: Fair value is primarily a long-term indicator and may not be useful for short-term trading strategies, where momentum and technical factors dominate.

Limited Predictive Power: Even with accurate fair value calculations, external factors like macroeconomic shocks or geopolitical events can derail the expected price convergence.

We would like to examine the specific instances you've mentioned regarding St. James and B&M in greater detail, and have requested your contact details via Trustpilot so we can follow up with you directly.

We're committed to transparency and continuous improvement of our methodologies. Your feedback helps us identify areas where we can enhance both our valuations and how we communicate changes to our subscribers.

Improved situation and support

UPDATE – Nov 2025:
Support has recently reached out proactively and handled the situation very professionally. They acknowledged the long-standing alert issue and committed to fixing it. Their response and follow-through were a significant improvement compared to past experiences, and they managed the situation extremely well. I will provide another update once the fix is fully implemented.

----------------------------

Although Investing.com offers useful data and tools, the overall experience is disappointing.
I’ve been reporting bugs and errors for years, especially regarding notifications, which — even when properly set up — are used to send spam and unwanted marketing messages. I’ve emailed support multiple times: the request still shows as “pending” after years, with no response or sign of interest in fixing anything.

Things got even worse after switching to the paid Pro version: every attempt to contact them to modify my plan or ask for information has been completely ignored.
It’s a platform with potential, but with non-existent customer service (literally zero) and an embarrassing lack of care for users.

Really a shame: they could do so much better, but instead they’re just pushing customers away.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience with Investing.com, Andrea.

We want to sincerely apologize for the frustrating situations you've encountered, particularly with our notification system and the lack of responsiveness from our support team. The experience you've described falls well below the standard we aim to provide, especially for our Pro subscribers.

We can and will do better.

I started the pro subscription but when I browsed the menus I realized that it was not suitable for me. I backed out after a day and asked for a refund but I have not been able to find anyone to contact for a week.

Impressed old man

I am 65 and love to read and the market news will keep you upto dat on world events. loaded the app on my Android 7 only a we÷k ago and amazed how far technology has taken us. I can't afford the final subscription price of $25 per/month after the first year. I am on fixed income and really don't trade. I do see the value though especially with email alerts. I see buy recommendations but not sell points once you purchase a stock. I really wish there was a book to study on the right way to ser up and to guide you through the app. Videos are good but nothing is like a book to learn from. This app is the best that I have ever seen. I give it 5 stars.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thank you for your philosophical review Chit Chit.

Not a question. Not a statement. Just... existence.

We're left wondering - which purchase indeed? Pro? Pro+? BOTH? Is this a zen koan designed to make us question our entire business model?

Perhaps you were dramatically interrupted mid-review by a squirrel burglar? Or maybe your period key is just extremely assertive?

Whatever purchase you're contemplating, we can confidently say: that one. Definitely that one. Unless you meant the other one. In which case, also yes.

When you remember the rest of your thought, we'll be here, patiently waiting for the sequel to your three-syllable masterpiece!

With confused appreciation,
