Interact Evolution Screen Actors Academy is lightning in a bottle!

That is purely and simply, down to Scott Vickers.
It is a program for anyone who is serious about their acting career and are ready to level up! As well as learn from the experience Scott is passionate to share. Good luck to the actors who take the journey.

I completed the Screen Actors Evolution program last December. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable about the industry, bringing his experience as both a director and actor. He challenges you to dig deeper or try new approaches, always with thoughtful, personalised guidance and clear direction.

This course gives you a helpful set of tools and techniques such as the line learning superpower. But perhaps even more importantly, it teaches you to be kinder to yourself—both as a person and an actor. It helps you become more aware of the mindtalk and limitations we often place on ourselves and gives you the freedom to break through them.

Spending 12 weeks learning alongside Scott and a wonderful group of actors was an incredible experience. We built a small, supportive community.

I signed up for the screen actors course last September and it was the best investment I've made for myself. Not only towards refreshing my acting skills but also learning insights from Scott on how our mindset impacts on our lives and our acting careers. Not only has this course strengthened my screen acting skills but also given me new tools to use in my everyday life as well. This is one of the best courses I’ve done as an actor, truly a game changer.
Scott is an incredible coach, very intuitive, learning my strengths and weaknesses very quickly and knowing where I could be pushed.

Like many people, I’ve often fantasised about pursuing a career on screen, whether it be as an Actor in Movies or TV & Drama, but how on earth do you go about it, especially when starting relatively late in life? The vast majority of Actors tend to have started their onscreen journey at a very young age. Aside from this, having the right connections and someone guiding you is crucial. The ideal would be to have a great coach, and or mentor. But of course, not everyone is lucky enough to have access to the ideal coach and or mentor. But as faith would have it, the Universe heard me and I came by Scott Vickers. Although I’d never heard of him, I soon discovered that he was an award winning Film Director with many years of experience as a respected Actor. He also coaches & mentors actors. I joined a live coaching masterclass session he was holding online and I got excited because, I discovered that he had devised a fast track course, containing everything I needed. Hundreds of people were on that masterclass. All actors.

After that initial online session, I contacted Scott and explained that I was a complete beginner, and would love to be coached and mentored by him.

Of course, he has a reputation to uphold. Before he agrees to coach and mentor anyone, he needs to be sure that they have what it takes to be a Screen Actor. He needs to be sure that the person is willing to work hard and also able to take directions. He needs to know that you have the right character to do what it takes and, finally he needs to know he can work with you as a person. You quickly learn that he takes the view that personality would get someone so far but, a person’s character matters more than talent. One’s character skills can unleash hidden potential. I decided liked this guy already. Very timely, his 12 weeks Screen Actors Evolution course was due to start mid-March 2024. The course contents was well structured and contained everything anyone would need, to set them on the right path.

On starting the course I discovered that I was the only person on the course who was a complete beginner. The other 10 individuals were already actors. But I was not intimidated by this discovery. As I watched my cohorts on the course, (who all had several years acting experience), I took the view that it was an opportunity for me to learn from them also. As experienced Actors, they had looked to Scott to help them get better and improve upon their craft. .

I must say, I am like my late father in that, I am not easily impressed by anything or anyone and I certainly do not freely dish out compliments and praises, unless deserved.

Scott Vickers as a coach and mentor proved to be a god send. He genuinely cares about helping you and when he tells you that he’s going to be there for you, you don’t doubt him because he keeps his words. Your growth is fuelled by his enthusiasm and support and your comfort grows as you practice your skills. Soon, you learned the importance of praying to the high priestess of repetition and persistence, in order to succeed. (If Scott were to be honest, I should think that he did not prepare himself for someone as inquisitive as me. I am a sponge when I want to learn something and I regularly bombarded him with questions. I was hungry to learn and I soaked up everything). I even challenged him on decisions and characters he wanted me to play but, he remained cool and humble enough to give me room to go for roles that I felt that I could handle. As human beings, no one is immune to self-doubt. Growth requires much more than a mindset. You need opportunity and motivation to nurture. Scott has created a structure to sustain motivation and growth.

No human being is immune to making mistakes and when it happens, it can be distressing to the point of knocking one’s confidence. Scott fosters a safe learning and supportive environment. When judging your work, although he is critically honest and unwavering, he does it with kindness. His style of criticism is not belittling so as to leave you feeling that your self-esteem has burned to ashes of shame. You value what he says and teaches you because the results are obvious.

Emotional self-regulation was an important element of the course, too. We learned how to handle rejection because rejection is common in the industry. For my cohorts who were experienced Actors, I witnessed how Scott’s coaching helped them to elevate their craft and for me, as a complete beginner, in just three months, I progressed far beyond my starting point. Meeting Scott Vickers and being part of INTERACT Screen Actors Academy was at the beginning a beam of light transformed into a rocket launch. INTERACT isn't another course that will "boost your career", it is another form of family where you will feel welcomed no matter what level you are at. Scott's high level of professionalism and knowledge are seen in every detail of the course. I am incredibly grateful for the Line Learning Super Power Technique which fully transformed my preparation process as an actor. Now I can finally enjoy this part of the process which isn't the most favourite one to many other actors - IT'S POSSIBLE, you just need the right tools. Having been out of the industry for many years, my confidence had declined and I was unsure if I was still right to succeed in this tough profession. I enrolled on this course and from start to finish I’ve enjoyed every moment. In addition, the course structure provides a supportive community where there is mutual respect and a shared sense of encouragement. All of this I will draw upon moving forward. What appealed to me about working with Scott Vickers in the Interact Screen Actors Academy was the opportunity to develop tools to help with my confidence as much as the craft. I think if one more person told me, 'Not to be so hard on myself,' I might scream. How do I do that? I learned how to identify it, unpack it, and quickly get back on track. The Line Learning Superpower technique also helped me overcome a decades-long belief that I wasn't good at learning my lines.

I’m a second year film student and was so excited about doing this course and I’m so glad that I completed it . Currently With my studies I find it so hard to commit to in person acting classes (which I love ) this course was really flexible and I learnt so much from Scott .
